Great burgers and fried pickles

Stopped in on a Tuesday night and was packed! $8 diner burger was delicious. We also had the habanero havarti burger ($15) and GC burger with bacon and cheese. All fantastic burgers. Everything is a la carts so we added shoestring fries ($4), French onion soup and fried pickles. The pickles had the best light batter we’ve ever had. The French was savory and hot. Outstanding service. Plenty of TVs. Highly recommend!

Mediocre bar food at best, terrible service

If they concentrated on food and service as much as trying to be trendy they would be better. Food was cold and both times we ate there, the service was terrible.

Quick lunch on the way home after biking at Scioto Mile. We ordered 2 vegetarian items- a sandwich and a wrap. The wrap was fine but the veggie sandwich was very spicy and had strips of meat. Luckily I found that in time and took it out of the sandwich for my vegetarian family. Other than that it was a nice cafe.

Decent Lunch in the Middle of Grandview

Wife and I came here for a late lunch and were rewarded with a nice meal. A small salad each, she had the mussels and I had blackened chicken wrap with a side of fries. Servers were pretty good, but a little slow on the drink refills. Food came out pretty timely and was good. We had a good seat by the windows that were open to the street that day. Would have been a nice spot if we had more time just to hang out a bit.

New Year's eve ripoff!!!

GVC and Round 2 had a new years eve party, I paid 183.62 for 2 people. This included 1 drink ticket good for domestic or garage beer or house wine. Stated appetizers from 7-9 and dinner from 9-11 and a champagne toast at midnight. Thought it was pricey but assumed it would be a nice dinner for that price. It was total garbage!! The appetizers didn't even come out until 8:30, and they were crappy GFS type frozen apps. The "Dinner" which consisted of more appetizers included sliders with a tsp of meat on them, plain wings, greasey fried potatoes' mac n cheese and buffalo chicken dip. What a total ripoff and disappointment. Left at 10. Never again!!

Never Again

Went on a Friday at 5:00, with two friends from out of state. the wait was not long, but the tables and area was not clean. It was 20 minuntes before our drink order was taken. Then another 15 minutes before we received one bud light and two glass's of wine. Then another 15 minutes to take our order. After waiting another 15 minutes we are told they are out of fish and chips. So out of fish on a Friday night. So we changed the order, asked for napkins again. So after a very long wait, we get the food, the fries are cold, the adult veggie wrap is so small, we thought it was a children's size. The chicken strip meal we order off of the childs menu had one piece of chicken, but we were charged for an adult version. The waitress was terrible. The food was terrible. I will never recommend this place. I will never spend my time or money there again.

Food decent. Friendly but very slow service.

Had a good dinner. The Buffalo chicken dip is legitimately good. The mussels nicely flavored. The turkey wrap ok. The service was friendly but was very slow. It took a while to get our food to the point where both me and my husband would look at each other and wonder what was taking so long.

This review is based on their brunch menu (Saturday and Sunday mornings, early afternoons) With that being said, the food was delicious. I had the biscuits and gravy and my girlfriend had the eggs Benedict. Both were visually appealing and delicious. The service was fantastic and our mimosas were on point. This is my go to spot for brunch. Love it!

Go for drinks, not for the food

Great atmosphere, especially after COVID shutdown. Indoor and outdoor areas. Nice beer selection and contactless ordering. Our waiter, John, was nice and not intrusive. I had a spinach strawberry salad that was average. Husband had a Margherita pizza...if we weren’t starving, we would have returned it. The pizza crust was like cardboard a la those pizza kits you had to sell for fundraisers. Cheese blocks that were supposed to be mozzarella and drained canned tomatoes...at least the basil was fresh. Yuck. Great place to get drinks before eating somewhere else.

Always Grand

It's always good. Often offers a slight twist to the usual such as a roasted turkey club with apple butter mayo. Who woulda thought ... DELICIOUS! Burgers, fish and chips ... all good! We like eating here when we are in the area. Plenty of tvs to watch the games.

Great fish in the fish and chips. Everything else lacking.

We stopped in for diner after an OSU home football game. The place had customers but was not packed. Service was very slow (I ended up going to the bar to fetch drinks). The crispy, not greasy big piece of fish was the star. The chips weren’t good. They charged us .50 for an extra little plastic cup of sauce. My French onion soup came out cold two times. The third I just said the heck with it and ate it. The manager did however comp us on the cold soup. The cole slaw was just plain weird. Da wife didn’t even know how to describe it. Big bar. Fun atmosphere. Good outdoor areas. Hopefully you have better food than us.

Reopened, it's worth trying again!

Many of you know that it was closed for a period of time, and is now reopened. The food is really good, reasonably priced, and while I've been there both for lunch and a private event at dinner, both times the service was excellent, attentive and knowledgeable. They have some "different" types of items, not just a normal burger and fries type of place. Big portions, I took home half of the sandwich i had ordered.

Been there forever

Kind of a funky little neighborhood joint that has been on the corner of 3rd and Grandview forever. Closed for a short while to renovate but has reopened a couple of years ago and didn't loose a patron. Has a rooftop bar area and a trivia night that is popular. Food is typical bar stuff but still good. Happy hour is always popular in any bar. Nice crowd. Generally 20's and 30ish.

Dinner and drinks.

Went out with some friends and found the perfect place. It was very busy but we found a table for 6 right away. Good selection of food mainly bar food, but very delicious. Drink selection was great. If you like beer this is a place to come to!
