If you like a rousing american tale even if exaggerated somewhat, you will love it as I do. Entertaining and something for everyone. The original Alamo doesn't close to this. Good movie I've watched again and again. Pick on something else. If you are American you'll get it.

The movie is a perfectly watchable Hollywood epic concerning the American Revolutionary War boasting a strong performance by Gibson and solid cinematography. However, the portrayal of the British is just fictionalized and very brutal.

The patriot. This movie is a wonderful movie, one of my favorites actually. This movie gives you a balance between heartwarming, tragic, and history. This movie has defiantly made me cry due to being overwhelmed by glee or sadness. 15/5 recommend!!!
