- Nirvana track always reminds me of Curmudgeon -maybe because both are raw,post/anti Nevermind songs. If you dig Bleach, this might be for you.
Sound quality isn't too great on this nifty Vinyl- quite a lack of dynamics and separation.I listen to a lot of Nirvana, but this I rarely give a spin.Nice to have though. referencing Puss / Oh, The Guilt (7", Picture Disc) IV-23
My copy has a Made In England sticker on it, along with the subscription form inside.referencing Puss / Oh, The Guilt (7", 45 RPM, Single) TG83
I don't hate Nirvana. I really don't. Quite the contrary. I think In Utero stands among the best rock albums of the 90s. I just so happen to think The Jesus Lizard were the greatest fucking band of all time. Talented musicians, brilliant performers, timeless tunes that still hold up today (see: all those reunion shows). All of these things make this split fucking essential listening if you're at all a historian of what the hell was going on in the 90s rock scene. That these guys ended up on a major label still makes me laugh. Great release.- The mentioned poster was given away free when you bought your copy on the first day of release. I happened to stay with my friends of Round Ear in Brighton when this came out, and we entered the Borderline record shop and bought a handful of those.
