Yes, UGA is online. While it only offers one online undergraduate degree completion program in education, it offers several online master's degree programs. In addition to the field of education, majors in these online graduate degrees include journalism and mass communication, business and technology, and public health.

Degree completion means that you can transfer into a program with a minimum number of previously completed credits. For example, UGA's online bachelor's degree completion in education - special education only takes full-time students two years to complete because it requires the completion of 60 transfer credits to be eligible for enrollment. 

Employers respect UGA's online degrees because an accredited university confers them. CSU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, master's and doctorate degrees, and certificates. This accreditation status is essential because it means UGA routinely goes through an intensive review process that evaluates its financial practices and the quality of its academic programming. When UGA receives its accreditation, it has proven that it keeps its promises to students.

UGA's admissions requirements for first-year students entering online programs are similar to those of other highly competitive colleges and universities:

• A $70 application fee
• Official high school transcripts or their equivalent showing completion of a Required High School Curriculum (RHSC) 
• Official college transcripts, if transferring credits
• Military transcripts, if applicable
• A secondary school report and an optional letter of recommendation from a high school teacher demonstrating a student's ability to independently complete demanding coursework 
• SAT/ACT scores

Additionally, students accepted into UGA have completed the most rigorous courses available in their high schools, including advanced, Honors, gifted, AP/IB, and dual enrollment.
