Srestha Banerjee is the Director of India Just Transition Centre (IJTC), an initiative of the International Forum for Environment, Sustainability and Technology (iFOREST). She has worked with India and US-based environmental and public policy think tanks over the past 15 years as a public policy professional. Srestha’s current areas of work include just transition, industrial decarbonization, climate change, and environmental and participatory governance, with a specific focus on these issues in India and the global South. She has authored and coauthored various reports, policy papers, and book chapters in her areas of work.
