Chad Collins Dread Central From credits to the final frame, The Call leaves a lasting impact, an almost congenital terror that's certain to break your heart and scare you senseless. Rated: 4.5/5 Aug 2, 2023 Full Review Jade Budowski Decider With an original concept, chilling kills, and stunning performances, The Call is more than worth picking up. Jul 23, 2021 Full Review Scott Weinberg Thrillist This unpredictable Korean export juggles more than a few tones and subtexts, and does it quite craftily. Apr 16, 2021 Full Review Anthony Kao Cinema Escapist Through effective world-building and acting, The Call creates a distinctively chilling and suspenseful vibe that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats until its very last moments. Mar 26, 2021 Full Review James Mudge easternKicks.com One of the better 2020 genre films from Korea, and one of the few to keep its focus on a fun high concept premise rather than getting distracted by last act melodrama Rated: 4/5 Mar 5, 2021 Full Review Matt Rodgers Flickering Myth Terrific fun, with plenty of wickedness and gory surprises, all topped off by a captivating turn from Jong-seo Jun, The Call is well worth answering. Brian W I thought it was a great unique story you don't see often. I will think of the very very end as an alternative ending that doesn't make sense due to the timeline. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/26/24 Full Review Audience Member The movie has a really good concept and interesting plotline. However, the way the story plays out at times really makes you scratch your head. The villain was a bit overpowered - she ate up the main character and left no crumbs. What did that strawberry guy ever do to her... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/22/24 Full Review Rajat G Worst ending ever with no part of story making sense. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/24 Full Review Long Hải N phim xem tốn gian cay như l Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/24 Full Review Zeinah A Original idea as far as I know, great acting, great plot, and plot twists, very enjoyable creepy uncomfortable and great overall. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/05/24 Full Review Green C One of those movies where you're going "Wait, what?". First half a little dull but everything changes half-way. Intriguing and terrifying.
