SOP and CV is required. I had internship experience in retirement home from India. No, I didn't had any interview round The application fee was $0 and it was the only college that was accepting new applicants while I applied The campus is extremely small and its not really college. I wont recommend this college to anyone except if you want to come here just for the PR and to work. The london campus is much better. In Toronto its a public private campus so they dont even have scholarships!!!. Not even merit based scholarship!

Studying at Fanshawe College has been an enriching experience. The vibrant campus and diverse student community create a dynamic atmosphere. The college provides state-of-the-art facilities, fostering a conducive learning environment. Life abroad has allowed me to embrace different cultures, broadening my perspectives. Fanshawe's supportive faculty and engaging courses have contributed to my academic growth. The cultural exchange and access to top-notch resources make my college experience both fulfilling and memorable.

Overall experience studying at Fanshawe college was good. Learning experience and environment is actually suitable for students but some programmes like mine lack the industrial skills and knowledge required to find the job and opportunity to have an internship so that you can get some industrial exposure is also missing.

Fees:

Total tuition for my program was $17000 CAD. It comes to approximately 8500 CAD per semester. Then on top of that , you have to pay health insurance which changes every year.

  • Dislikes:
  • Schedule. My course didn't allow me to schedule my own classes. Which bothered me a lot.,
  • It was not convenient with my work schedule. All the events occurred mostly at main campus which was also bothersome.,
  • Fees. - I believed it was too much and every year there was an increase. It wasn't worth in regards of the courses that program offered.

It was indeed a good experience. I faced challenges but there were some people from college who always stand by me, supported me and mainly gave me confidence. I would say college is excellent everything else just depends on the program you selected.

I had applied to many colleges but at the end of the day, I had to choose one. So I searched for each and every college and according to my course, I found that Fanshawe was best. It has all the facilities and also it provides a bus pass for free, otherwise in other colleges, you have to take it on your own. Also, the campus had all the facilities from the canteen to sports.

Fees:

The total fee of my program was $32000 and I had 4 semesters, each semester it was around $8000

FAQs

Ques. Which is the best college to apply for a one-year construction management course in Canada, George Brown, Centennial, or Fanshawe? Do all three offer internships?

● Top Answer By Palak Goyal on 08 Feb 24

Ans. My brother is currently pursuing the Construction Engineering Technician (T161) course from George Brown College. It is a two year course, and an extra year places it into an advanced diploma (T105).  George Brown offers plenty of job opportunities from a variety of construction companies across Canada. The college regularly holds a job fair in which prominent companies like Bird Construction, Aecon, EllisDon, PCL, etc. take part. A large number of alumni from our college work at one or the other of these reputed companies.  All the three colleges offer internships, but according to my brother, George Brown is a better option for the construction management program.Read more
