Our Approach

We are a full-service law firm that offers personalized attention to individuals, families, and businesses facing tough legal issues. We aim to ease the difficulties that come with navigating our legal systems, while offering effective representation and diligently working towards a favorable and equitable resolution.

Located in Central Ohio, we primarily serve clients throughout Franklin County. Out of county cases are accepted on a case-by-case basis. In-person, videoconference, and phone consultations are available by appointment and are offered at a fee.

Through a collaboration with the Our Lady of Guadalupe Center, free in-person consultations are offered on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. Visit our Facebook page for more details.

Our Attorney Sandra Carrillo

Photo of Sandra CarrilloPrior to starting her own firm, Attorney Sandra Carrillo served as an assistant city prosecutor with the Columbus City Attorney's Office. She represented the cities of Columbus and Worthington, Franklin County townships, and the state of Ohio in the prosecution of criminal misdemeanor offenses. During her time as a prosecutor, Sandra gained invaluable experience in the courtroom assisting with or handling jury trials, bench trials, and evidentiary hearings. Prior to becoming an attorney, Sandra worked at The Ohio State University in the offices of Government Affairs and Legal Affairs.

In addition to other activities, Sandra currently serves as a board member of the St. Vincent Family Center, and has been a small business owner since 2016. She is also a member of the Columbus Bar Association, and a life member of Alpha Psi Lambda National, Incorporated. Additionally, Sandra is a past graduate of the United Way of Central Ohio's Project Diversity program, the Hispanic Chamber of Columbus' Latina Mentoring Academy, and the YWCA's Gen Y Leadership Program.

In 2016, Sandra obtained a J.D. degree with a concentration in civil litigation from Capital University Law School. During law school, Sandra participated in the moot court program, and two mock trial competitions - one of which her team placed "Overall Winner" in the competition and Sandra was awarded the "First Round Best Attorney" award. Sandra was also named to the Order of the Barristers, an honor society limited to graduating law students and practicing lawyers who demonstrate exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing. She is also a two-time alumna from The Ohio State University where she obtained two B.A. degrees in criminology and psychology.

Sandra, a native from Tampa, Florida, has resided in Columbus since 2004. Currently, Sandra lives in north Columbus with her husband, Wilber, and their five pets.
