The International Training Centre of the ILO was established in Turin, Italy in 1964, and seeks to be be the leading global provider of learning and training for the world of work. Our learning, knowledge-sharing and institutional capacity-building activities and programmes for governments, workers’ and employers’ organizations and other development partners are based on the latest thinking, best practices and comparative experiences. Social protection is a major thematic area of the ITCILO, and each year the Centre delivers a broad range of training activities both in Turin, and across the globe.
