Regretfully, I missed this tour. The YouTube clips from the tour showed great performances. So this album was on my radar for RSD 2024. I did a double take at the price, but it was cheaper and available at my local record store. I never saw the album set at the other participating RSD record stores in my city.

So far, the 2LP set sounds fine. Instrumentation is spread out thoughtfully in stereo. The live performances are excellent, Marty Stuart and his band are more than capable in capturing the spirit of the album.

My only minor criticism is the scripted in-between chatter from both McGuinn and Hillman to set musical history. I understand that they were both fully involved with music direction for Sweetheart of the Rodeo album. It wasn’t only Gram Parsons pursuing this musical change, Gram was just the catalyst. I think the Byrds music speaks for itself.

    RIP Gram Parsons
    RIP Kevin Kelley

Kenny Vaughn is smiling in a concert bow photo. It must have been pretty good on this tour and that great feeling definitely comes through in this recording. Very special. When Marty's telecaster and or Roger's voice comes on, it just explodes in your ears, I burst out in exultation many times it sounds so atomic. Hard to think of another stage with this much talent per player in the history of mankind and you can feel it.

The greatest live show I’ve ever been to was this tour at The Ryman in Nashville.
This release is pure magic. Flawless recording and pressing. AND it came with a signed lithograph from Roger, Chris, and Marty!! Absolutely worth standing in the rain for 7 hours!

Please, what's the original price in store (for those who snatched a copy) ? I'd like to know to which level I'm gonna get scammed if my last hope is buying here -_-'
          Thanks
