Paulina Porizkova Dons Sheer Lingerie for Striking 'Vogue' Cover - Parade Skip to main content

Paulina Porizkova is flexing her modeling muscle.

The star took to Instagram to reveal that she’s gracing the cover of Vogue Scandinavia for the Feb-March 2023 issue.

Shooting the camera a sultry stare, the 57-year-old Czech born model can be seen lounging on a flower-print arm chair in the shot. But it’s her outfit that captures attention, as she rocks a bubblegum pink lingerie top—better known as the Cartier Tank Française timepiece—paired with black high-rise underwear peeking through a sheer tulle skirt of the same color. The look is accessorized with black elbow-length gloves.

Pieces of her naturally graying hair cover her face as she embraces a neutral beauty look.

The author and actress has been at the forefront of conversations about accepting aging, which lends itself to the cover story's title: “The Power of Paulina Porizkova.”

The caption of the post references a quote from the publication’s interview with Porizkova, stating, “I feel like I’m representing 50-something-year-old women who look their age. And I deeply feel that we need more representation.”

The publication also notes that Porizkova’s striking cover image proves “that beauty truly has no age limit.”

“Tackling the complex experience of growing older in the fashion industry, overcoming gut-wrenching grief, and navigating mid-life dating, Paulina finds that – as she ages – she is only more intelligent, more patient, more introspective. This is Paulina at the height of her powers,” the caption concludes.

Padma Lakshmi commented on the post, “Stunning!! 👏🏾👏🏾” as Lily Aldrige left several heart emojis, and Selma Blair added, “Slay ❤️.”

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit icon also uses her platform to champion body positivity, previously clapping back at a plastic surgeon that reportedly pointed out all that she needed to fix about her face, posing nude as a celebration of her body, and posting a then/now comparison photo to explain why she feels like she’s finally in her “prime.”
