Scott Bryan BBC.com When you watch these episodes from this new series, it doesn't really offer anything deeper, such as a deep dive into the characters or their relationships. There's just more plot. Rated: Not a Must Watch Sep 26, 2022 Full Review Brian Tallerico The Playlist Now that most of them have been reunited with a common goal, it’s promising to believe that the fifth and final season will split the difference between the streamlined third and bloated fourth chapters to find the perfect middle ground. Rated: B- Jul 18, 2022 Full Review Elamin Abdelmahmoud BuzzFeed News How refreshing it is, then, to find that the just-concluded fourth season returns to the brilliant heights of its first. Jul 15, 2022 Full Review Sharai Bohannon Blerdy Massacre Podcast I was salty when I saw the runtimes for episodes this season but have to admit this is their best season since the first one. I'm excited again and hope we give Lucas and Erica more to do as we address this time jump next season. Stranger Things 4, Part One is more of the same, and for a lot of people that will be enough. Jul 25, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Nay N Good season but totally different. Not the same show to me but it was still good. Personally I think they take too long to make seasons. My favorite character is still Steve and Dustin and they introduce Eddie in this one. Eddie is what makes this season. Without Eddie I think this season would've been a flop. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/05/24 Full Review Braxton M Was the first season I actually watched when it was originally released. Loved the new characters and the new villain was pretty scary. Can't wait for season 5! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/27/24 Full Review Grimm R Stranger Things Season 4 is the biggest season yet when it comes to the scale of the plot and the size of the action, characters, runtime, and much more. Stranger Things Season 4 goes beyond the town of Hawkins as there are many groups of characters as before as one is in Hawkins, California, Nevada, Alaska, and then Russia and the story follows a string of mysterious murders that are investigated by the party in Hawkins. The second plot follows Eleven as she is taken to a secret location in Nevada by Dr. Owens and Dr. Brenner to help her regain her powers. Then the third plot follows Joyce and Murray as they fly to Russia to rescue Hopper from a soviet prison camp. The total runtime of this season is 13 hours which is the biggest yet as all the previous seasons are around 8 hours long. I think the best thing this season did was how well developed the story was and how the story easily pieces the mystery together surrounding the big villain known as Vecna and makes the story easy to follow and understand even with how much is going on. The action in this season was amazing as well as the visual effects as they just got even better than the previous seasons. This is also the darkest season of Stranger Things yet as we learn many things from the past and a lot of key context, especially revolving Eleven. A couple things I think this season lacked was this show use to rely on character relationships and that emotional connection between a group of friends and their chemistry and as they do try to keep that in the story, the chemistry just isn't existent anymore as well as it seems the story is not as focused on these bonds as much as they use to be. There is no chemistry between Mike and Eleven or even Mike and Will who are supposed to be best friends as we see in earlier seasons but there is just no chemistry. I also feel like some of the performances from some of the actors were just not as good as they've given in other seasons as well and I just found myself caring much more about certain plots than others because of all these factors that just felt absent. The story at certain parts just doesn't seem grounded as it once was. There are certain times towards the end of the season where the different groups act to try and help each other without any clue what is happening with each other and they just magically all align with each other which just didn't feel natural at all. Overall, Stranger Things Season 4 has the biggest production yet and handles the scale of the story very well but there are problems with the plot and the direction which made this one fall a little for me but still kept what I love about this series in tact which is the horror, action, suspense, and the very well developed story. Stranger Things Season 4 gets an A+ Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/19/24 Full Review Steven C Kinda sceptical on season 4. It starts with a changing situation. All character became older and separated. Even the way of death became bizzare. And why the villain now is human-like? But it all paid off in the last 2 episodes. They bond as friends made me cried 🥲 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/15/24 Full Review Yogesh R This season is better than the previous two seasons and felt quite new and fresh, the story was connected in a very good way, the suspense was quite strong, despite being quite long this season was quite interesting. Presenting different stories together in this season was also great. Yes, but this season sidelined Will, Mike & Jonathan. The story arc of the rest of the characters was quite good. Story, screenplay & acting were also good Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/03/24 Full Review Paul P Season 4 of Stranger Things was one of the best seasons of television I've ever seen. It was suspenseful, emotional, stressful, and just fantastic. The music is 2nd to none. I'm not a fan of the horror genre in general, but I cannot express how well this season leans into the genre and tells a riveting story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/26/24 Full Review Read all reviews
