It's shaping up to be a big weekend for the Subban family.
On Thursday, defenseman Jordan Subban, younger brother of Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. and Vegas Golden Knights goalie Malcolm,
was traded
to the Los Angeles Kings by the Vancouver Canucks for forward Nic Dowd.

Subban, 22, had five assists and 13 penalty minutes in 16 games for Utica of the American Hockey League this season. Dowd, 27, had one assist in 16 games for the Kings.
The trade was announced after the Kings' wild
4-3 overtime win
against the Ottawa Senators.
On Friday, P.K., 28, and Malcolm, 23, could play against each other for the first time at any level when the Predators and Golden Knights face off at Bridgestone Arena (8 p.m. ET; FS-TN, ATTSN-RM, NHL.TV). Malcolm did not practice Wednesday with Vegas and it's unclear if he will play on Friday.
Oh, and their dad is going to be
in Nashville
as well.

Is there a goalie in the house?

Being plucked from the stands to help the home team is the fantasy of every sports fan. On Thursday, Tyler Stewart lived it.
Stewart, whose family has season tickets to the St. Louis Blues, got to suit up for warmup as an emergency backup goalie.
Regular backup Carter Hutton was a late scratch against the Dallas Stats, so while the Blues waited for Ville Husso to arrive from the minor leagues, Stewart, 25, was signed to an amateur tryout contract.
It was
an experience
the former Saint Louis University goalie will never forget.

Lucky and good

The Florida Panthers did everything but park the Zamboni in front of their net in order to prevent the game-tying goal, and they still needed
a little help
from the post! You are going to have to watch this one quite a few times to fully appreciate it.
