Rancho High School Reviews
Rating 3.79 out of 5 975 reviews
As I reach my senior year of attending Rancho High School, I must say it has been a roller coaster! They give many options for clubs to attend that can interest almost everyone at that school and even if nothing interests you, you may even be able to start your own club! The teachers there are very involved with the students and if a student were to ever need help with anything, the teachers there are very welcoming and will help guide you with whatever it is that you're struggling with. The administration there is very protective and make sure that all students are safe as they care for the protection of the students and of the school itself. There are also many activities for the kids to do from dances, school trips, sports, and even clubs! The counselors are also very welcoming for the students and will hep guide you as you exit your way out of high school and into the college realm. Overall, Rancho is a very welcoming and diverse high school that's succeeded my experience.
Rancho is one of the best decisions I've made when it came to choosing high schools. It has a diverse magnet program with medical, aerospace, and engineering programs that are not limited to one for a student. The school pushes for spirited ready individuals with the potential of resources and volunteering opportunities to get more involved and immerse with the community. I have been grateful for doing these volunteering events as they make a big difference in people's lives just helping out a little bit of a time. Despite this the only worst parts of Rancho were the workload and personal problems, however, that is to expect when it comes to a magnet program and I wish they would have more resources for the students.
Rancho High School has given me the opportunity to expand my education by offering multiple honors and AP courses. This school has definitely challenged me in a multitude of ways and has allowed me to thrive as a student who plans to pursue post secondary education. Although my knowledge has been broadened and I am eternally grateful, I will say that the administration needs some readjustments. The administration at Rancho High School can be incredibly rude, and at times it feels like they do not have students and teachers best interests in mind. While I understand that great attendance is crucial for workplace readiness, the administration’s rules on tardiness has gotten out of hand and ultimately results in students spending less time in the classroom. I would love to see a change in the administrations rules. Another problem with the administration is the lack of communication there is amongst all of them. I would also love to see a change in this because communication is essential.
