This award is sponsored by Hi-Tech Interiors, Howie’s Recycling & Trash Services, and Chick-fil-A and is designed to recognize teachers and staff who empower children to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Jamie strives to make every day a learning opportunity for students of all abilities and backgrounds. She encourages involvement, acceptance, and positive interactions daily. Jamie also puts in long days, weekends, and nights being involved in the community and finding a variety of events/opportunities for her students to participate in. She is a Rockstar all around, and classroom champion does not begin to cover her commitment to student success. Congratulations!!

Today, Angela was surprised with the news that she had received this honor and was surrounded by her nursing family and husband. This is the first time ever that a USD-383 employee has won this honor! Shocked and humbled by this honor, Angela sheepishly said “I guess I am a big deal.” When you’re hurt, sick, or just needing support Angela is always there for our staff and students. She was nominated by Michele Jones with the support of more than a few colleagues, staff, and Mr. Dorst. Angela comes to MHS everyday with a smile and puts her whole heart into her work. She is more than deserving of this recognition and so much more. She makes it easy to celebrate her accomplishments. Thank you for all you do and congratulations!
