I have stayed at Tahiti Village four years in a row for basketball tournaments in March. It's our favorite place to stay, but there are pros and cons. We typically book two Royal Tahitians every year. We always go the 1st or second week of March when temperatures are around 60-70 degrees. THE PROS: We love that our group can all be close together but still have our own space. We essentially get four bedrooms out of the royal Tahitian with the pull-out couches. It's nice to close the door between the Borabora and Morea halves. The shuttle bus is excellent for getting to the strip. A portion of the pool is usually closed off, but it's never been an issue because it is always relatively empty. We enjoy the lazy river with free tubes as well. There are good areas to grill, with places where you can even buy meat to grill. We personally like that it's a family-friendly resort with no casinos or smoke. We often bring kids, so that is important to us. THE CONS: When the temperatures are around 70 degrees, we are playing Russian roulette on whether or not they decide to heat the pool and lazy river! When they are heated, it feels like a giant hot tub, and it is so nice! But man, when it's around 70 degrees and they decide not to heat either the pool or the lazy river, it's cold. There's plenty of parking, but the convenient spots fill up quickly if you are there during a busy week. Then you have to walk all the way out to the parking garage. Another CON is that sometimes they push hard for you to attend a Timeshare meeting. Timeshares are not worth it here. The maintenance fee is over $1000 a year. Some reviews complain about the rooms, but out of the four times we have gone, the only complaint I had about one of the rooms was that the Moorea bathroom fan system did not work very well, and whenever someone went, it stunk. Didn't have that issue on other trips though. Overall, this is the most affordable place for us to stay since we typically have a lot of friends and family going down together. I've stayed at a lot of other places in Vegas and this is our favorite.
