Tahiti Village Resort & Spa enjoys a commendable location that, as guests have highlighted, offers a tranquil retreat close to shopping and the excitement of the strip, complemented by convenient shuttle service. The resort's family-friendly amenities, including the pool and lazy river, are often praised, though some visitors suggest there's a need for better maintenance. While the rooms are considered spacious by some, there are recurring grievances about cleanliness and outdated decor. Service at the hotel receives mixed reviews, with several guests pointing out unresponsive staff and organizational issues. Additionally, the value proposition is marred by unexpected fees and maintenance costs that have left several travelers feeling shortchanged.

Be prepared to walk from your car to your designated room, there are usually some luggage carts in your specific tower. The location of the property is about .2 mile from the Airport rental center. Reminds you of the tropical island. Didn't attend any of the presentations to take advantage of offers, was there on business and was a nice location.

We stayed in a one bedroom condo, with a limited kitchen. Well kept, comfy bed, great shower pressure. The pools, one is a stream type for floating, are awesome.Thought it was great that they have lifts for the handicapped to get into the pools and spas. There is a little market/cafe to get sandwiches and a bar on the grounds.Dennys is next door, too. Location was great for us,because its on the outskirts of the big hotels

Enjoyed the location away from the busy part of the strip, but easy access to the strip by the complementary convenient shuttle. Liked that it was within walking distance to the outlet mall. Units were comfortable and when we noticed the sofa bed mattress was worn to a thin pancake of nothingness, a quick call and a new mattress brought up promptly! Pools and amenities were good. Convenient as you were also very close to the airport car rental facility. Would stay there again.

My fiancé and I stayed here with his parents and we were extremely happy! The restaurant there had good food and the staff there were friendly. Although we weren't big fans of the bed and pillows it was still a great stay. I would've preferred if they had a shuttle to the airport though. We stayed while it was cold but I can imagine how much better it would be to enjoy this place when the weather is hot!!

We are vacation time share owners and did an exchange to be able to stay at Tahiti Village. Our room was a spacious one bedroom suite and it was nicely appointed with a modern kitchen, large two sink bathroom, and living room. The bed as comfortable and the room was quiet. We had problems connecting to the free wifi at the far end of the hall were our room was but it worked fine by the pool and elsewhere. When I had maintenance issues with a power outlet on the deck and a TV, the staff took care of it quickly. I would return here again.

We had a lovely two bedroom suite. Looks like they have done major renos since we were last here. We stayed in the 5 th tower. Our room as 5637 & 5639. If you want a room with a view, this is not the room for you. It faces the back and an empty dirt lot. We didn't mind because we spend very. Little time in the room.

Thank you for returning to Tahiti Village. We are pleased you enjoyed our spacious Bora Bora unit, which comes with numerous convenient amenities you won't find in a typical Las Vegas hotel room. We would also like to thank you for noticing our guest unit enhancements. Our rooms have received new carpet, vinyl flooring and sofa sleepers and will soon get new furniture, lamps and bedding. We appreciate your generous rating and hope you will consider us again.

Stayed with my son, who had been visiting this place regularly. It was simply amazing as always ! The people at the front desk were very friendly, cooperative & took care of us from start to finish. In fact the staff went far beyond to accommodate our special needs to keep us comfortable. We had two suites adjoining each other with all amenities like Sauna & Jacuzzi. The suite / room was very neat & clean with nice sofa & carpet with a well equipped kitchen. Of course the breakfast was complimentary.
The room had beautiful views of the whole Vegas valley from left to right and the amazing view of the Las Vegas strip on the right. There was also a spa, departmental store & a restaurant in the campus. The lazy river which includes a waterfall and free tubes to use, pool, adult spa, family spa, and the sandy area is simply amazing.
An amazing resort indeed !

We are property owners here -- definitely a great place to own! Shuttle service to the Strip makes getting around town a breeze. On this trip, we used our Bora Bora suite -- extremely comfortable with all the amenities of your own home. Beautiful view of the Strip from our balcony.

Having stayed on this property for the past near 10 years, I still rate it no less than 4 stars, because it's a very nice property and you don't even feel like you are in a gambling frenzy party city such as Las Vegas. My best friend and I enjoy this property so much, we are now owners.

The pool and lazy river are un-matched over any other venue in Las Vegas. If you don't believe me, check out even the most glitziest of hotels. For example, go look at one of the pools at the Wynn, and you will laugh at its size. It's the size a house pool. My friend and I were shocked at how crummy it looked, and how cramped it was...even during slow season in October. Not so at Tahiti Village. We stayed here for a week in October, and it was never overly crowded at all, and the weather was lovely. I noticed both the pool and lazy river were re-coated. It appears a very faint light blue sheen was mixed in with the white coating, and it really looks pretty. You get just a hint of speckled blue, and it makes the water look even prettier. That lazy river is so relaxing and the surrounding are just gorgeous.

I did notice even more upgrades to these timeshare units as well. For those of you staying as hotel guests, you can get huge rooms, (Bora Bora) because it's a timeshare resort.

A year ago, I noticed the units (in Tower 5) were freshly painted and some new televisions were installed. And this time around, new carpet, new kitchen flooring, new couch, new patio furniture (SO much better) and some new decorative plant changes. Yes, I'm very observant, plus I've stayed here many times over the years. We actually prefer the end unit in Tower 5, way at the end of the long corridor. We don't mind the long walk, and you get extra peace and quiet, because no one walks down there, unless they are staying down there.

We didn't eat at 17 degrees South, but we don't go on vacation to eat on the property or the Denny's. We prefer to dine out for lunch and dinner. Likewise, we don't use the barbecue pits for the same reason, but a lot of people do, and they look nice enough.

We had no issues with staff, and we actually got our room hours early, again, probably because it was slow season. The clerk at the front desk was nice. And it's also nice how the staff acknowledge you when they pass you on the property...to say hello...that's how it should be, and it's nice.

If you really want to get away in the day and do your thing at night elsewhere, this is the perfect place for you. We always get a rental car, because we want to do things at our own pace and time. Looking forward to staying here next year on this type of hidden paradise!

I don't believe we had to pay a resort fee; but we were were there through a timeshare exchange. Probably just need to call the resort & ask them.
