John Elroy McCaw founded a cable company in the 1960s. All four of his sons-- Bruce, Craig, John and Keith (d. 2002) worked for their father as salesmen. After his death in 1969 the brothers, led by Craig, turned the company into McCaw Cellular. They later sold it to AT&T for $12.6 billion in 1994. Craig went on to start Clearwire, a wireless broadband company, which merged with Sprint in 2008.
