Daughter of Edward Salvin Bowlby and Elizabeth Vans Agnew, married firstly Captain The Honourable James Boyle of the1st Bn.Royal Scots Fusiliers, son of David, 7th Earl of Glasgow, and Dora, Countess of Glasgow. He was Killed in Action in La Bassee, France, 1914. She married secondly Marshal of the Air Force 1st Viscount The Right Honourable Hugh Montague Trechard, and she become Vicountess Trenchard.
