Audience Member Fascinating, engaging and a fresh, focused and personal look at what happened to the brands we grew up with, and our collective migration from video, dvd, to streaming. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review william w Really enjoyed this insight into the growth of Netflix. Does a great job with mostly excellent sources telling the tale. Very well edited to keep the pace and interest. Loved the backstory on Blockbuster, which I had either forgotten or did not know. I recommend this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Bruce K I love how they took a company you hated for late fees (Blockbuster) and made you root for them even though you know they are going to lose. A very good documentary! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/13/20 Full Review Audience Member Fascinating insight into the origination of and success story of Netflix. Interviews with folks that literally started the company who walked you through the successes and struggles of the business. Anyone who has a Netflix account - or was a onetime Blockbuster customer - should watch this. Anyone who is a business owner or is contemplating getting involved in a startup would learn from the experiences detailed in this documentary. This is a well-done and entertaining documentary. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Great David v. Goliath type movie. Well done documentary about what was an up an coming company Netflix go against Blockbuster for consumers . Netflix offered to sell their company to Blockbuser and Blockbuster basically laughed them out of their office. Blockbuster isn't laughing now —- Highly recommend watching this documentary about a company we all know about Netflix! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
