The handsome and rugged Page Fletcher was born Charles Page Fletcher in
the 1950s in Canada. The son of Ron and Peggy Fletcher, Page grew up in
Bass River, Nova Scotia. Fletcher made his film debut as Tom Rice in
the low-budget horror picture "Humongous." He achieved his greatest
enduring popularity as the titular mysterious drifter on the
long-running cable TV anthology program "The Hitchhiker." Moreover,
Page played Alex J. Murphy/RoboCop on the mini-series "RoboCop: Prime
Directives." In addition, Fletcher made guest appearances on a handful
of television shows that include "The Beachcombers," "Street Legal,"
"Night Heat," "Alfred Hitchcock Presents," "The Outer Limits," and
"Forever Knight."
