Memories and Condolences
for Edward Fox

Not sure what to say?

I hope Uncle Buzzy and my dad (Buzzy´s cousin Ed Keller), who recently passed, are having a grand time together. Maybe they finally figured out who owned the marbles they fought over. Or maybe they still can´t agree. I miss them both.

Dear Fox Family,

Coach was a great patriot, leader of men and a champion. His memory and all he did for his players will never be forgotten. As Coach was passing he stopped by New England to help me lead U-Maine Augusta to the YSCC Conference Championhip. His teachings of the game and life will live through his players forever. I know he will be with us here in PA for the Nationals. Thanks once again Coach.

The halls of St. Patricks High School in the early seventy's were always full with chatter about the basketball team, and Coach Fox. He was a man that was truly respected by both student and team member. He will always be remembered in our hearts and the halls of St. Patrick's.

St. Pat's has a long and wonderful history full of great men and women but none finer than Buzzy Fox. We were gifted with the presence of a wondrous soul who shared his love of laughter and regaled us with his stories. One who tells stories is said to be a person who enjoys life to its fullest and finds delight in sharing with others. Buzzy was the premier storyteller who found great joy in his family and friends. He was generous to a fault and kind beyound measure. Buzzy was a blessing to all who crossed his path. He encouraged us to stretch, to reach higher, to dream and to grow into solid responsible citizens. Whether we were his peers or the young high school people he 'coached' on and off the court, Buzzy Fox made his mark-- and that mark is firmly planted in the hearts of all of us who were priviledged to know him.

Rest in peace, dear friend.

To The Fox Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of a great husband, father, great grandfather, and superb human being. Buzzy served his country, his community, and St. Pat's with devotion and compassion. I was privledged to officiate many basketball games at St. Pat's and throughout the state wherever St. Pat's was playing. Buzzy was intense and always a true professional. His legacy is the legions of young people he touched and made them whole. Rest in peace Marine. The Lord needs you to help guard the streets leading to the pearly gates.
