Civil Rights Movement Backlash Ku Klux Klan

This is a list of weapons that the Ku Klux Klan used on their victims. The use of these weapons were used to intimidate blacks. This extent of this intimidation could range from cross-burnings to murder. This demonstrates backlash because the KKK was not only killing African Americans but also attempting to stop them from fighting for their rights. The KKK would also use non-violent forms of intimidation which was used to scare people into doing their bidding. This shows backlash because they were getting other whites to hurt black people as well.
