1. Milwaukee Ballet: Cinderella

ALL WEEKEND | MARCUS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

This weekend, watch the Milwaukee Ballet convey the classic story of a servant-turned-princess, with Sergei Prokofiev’s work performed by the ballet’s orchestra. Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and 12:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday. Buy tickets online.

3. Milwaukee Bucks vs. Toronto Raptors

4. Gillespie + Nguyên + Williamson: to get there from here

Head to Daync Academy on Friday evening to see the work of Milwaukee choreographer and performance artist Maria Gillespie and Los Angeles-based choreographers and performers Nguyễn Nguyên and Kevin Williamson in their experimental dance and media installation — to get there from here. The artists stitch together panoramic videos, movement and objects to animate their vision.

6. Cats of Wisconsin Cat Show

Spend your Saturday with over 150 cats at Cats of Wisconsin, and explore the many vendors with items for both you and your fur baby. 

7. Catch and Release – Family Fishing

Bring family and friends along to learn the basics of fishing in the pond of Washington Park on Saturday morning. A fishing license is required for anyone over the age of 16. Register online.

8. Prepare for the Solar Eclipse

SATURDAY AT 3:15 P.M. | UW-MILWAUKEE PLANETARIUM

There will be a solar eclipse on Monday – the last one visible until 2024! Take it all in by learning the intricacies at UWM on Saturday afternoon. Director Jean Creighton will discuss how the study of solar eclipses has impacted our understanding of the universe. A free pair of eclipse safety glasses will be available for each attendee.

9. Andrea Bocelli

This year marks 30 years of Andrea Bocelli’s career, and the 65-year-old iconic Italian tenor is at the Fiserv Forum with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra for one night only. Catch this stop of the tour on Saturday evening to hear the live sound of his career highlights.
