Former Texas Tech standout Kevin Obanor has signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Toronto Raptors, according to online reports on Monday.

The deal was first reported by Bryan Kalbrosky of For The Win/USA Today. An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year deal for the minimum NBA salary. The contract enables the signing franchise — in this case, the Raptors — to convert Obanor's deal to a two-way contract should they decide to do so before the start of the NBA season.

The rookie minimum salary for the 2022-23 season was $953,000.

Obanor, a 6-foot-8 forward, went unselected in the 2023 NBA Draft. He spent the final two years of his collegiate career in a Red Raider uniform after transferring from Oral Roberts. He earned honorable mention All-Big 12 in both campaigns and was a key piece to Texas Tech's run to the Sweet 16 in 2022.

This past season, Obanor led Tech in points (14.4 per game) and rebounds (6.4). He converted 49.2% of his total shot attempts and was 42-of-127 from 3-point range, good for 33.1%.

All in his hands: Kevin Obanor's decision to transfer to Texas Tech was last-second

The highlight of Obanor's collegiate career came in the NCAA Tournament. He competed in six total games in March Madness, three apiece with ORU and Tech, compiling a double-double in each contest.

Obanor was one of just three players to compete in all 32 games for the Red Raiders last season, and one of two to start every contest.
