Manuscript: A Daedric Dialogue of Filth and Famine
Transcribed by Aliman, Scribe and Conjuror of Wormpage Printing House in The Lesser Southmost Burg of Skywatch in CE 930 503, 2nd of Second Seed
The creature I summoned initially confused and bewildered me. A common brown rat. The spell was of a daedric bend, so it could not have been a mistake. I had to reach far back into my scroll closet to find a translation spell suitable for the summonling, one designed for especially small gremlins (other gremlin spells would have workd, but may have produced a pitch too high or low to decipher. Of course, certain words or apparent words are untranslatable: the spell is not suited entirely to their language or vocal cords, though the majority of it is, surprisingly. More investigation is required, but I do not expect the funds or time to be granted, due to the lunacy of the whole ordeal. Here is the breadth of the creature's seemingly memorized statement.
Ataxia and blood lung are but mere manifestations of the weapons Green Abacus in his sickly forge manufactured for our physical shells. Perion you see is not our master, but an ?, a ?. Our bodies and souls to speak, do not innately desire to spread disease, but Perion sees that our practices are beneficial for his wagon wheel war, and Green Abacus secures the ?. This was before your time reader. The rahd-kon are our leaders, who rarely come down to mortal planes, and hardly ever in The Amphitheater Continent. ? is our master, but he never speaks or manifests to your kind, for you serve him well already. Grain houses and pantries, his ? you built. Before you, we only sought The Multiplicate, the ? of ? least souls. We took on forms of the containers of those least souls, the mice and the voles. The rahd-kon saw the best laid forms of men and mer, and took on their own form, similar in shape but distinct in feature, so that those who had been born of The Multiplicate could see themselves as in the image of the leaders.
To Multiplicate is still prominent practice among ?. But it is by no means common: to keep to prementioned ?, we have a quota of least souls to take, a quota of least souls to ?, and a quota of least souls to ?. We must keep to Green Abacus' ? lest we lose the ? . It is how it must be, but ? is still disheartened, as it would befit us to Multiplicate to greater numerical heights.
A ? I have for your readers is this: do not think of us as ? more than the ? vermin that lurk in holes chewed in the cornerstone, or foul creatures that destroy your stashed away pillows. Do not use our larger bodies as or for ? more than desperate sustenance, combat practice, or pack animal ? . We enjoy this place in hierarchy, for it is from where we benefit the most: your ? to find infestation, it is pain-pleasure that no other of our ? can find, and the misery of consuming foul flesh, it too is the same. Do not conflate our ? with that of Fecal Lord, for his is the sphere of the unwilling sufferer. Should you ever exult us, bad luck befalls you, for you have gone against Perion's ?, and so he shall send plague and death unto you, to remind you of your place in his game.
