About
Explore the Epic Tale of Alexander Hamilton in the Award-Winning West End Production
Experience the magic of Hamilton, a multi-award-winning West End production that unfolds the remarkable life of Alexander Hamilton, one of America’s influential Founding Fathers. This must-see musical is staged at London's Victoria Palace Theatre in the heart of the West End, focusing on Hamilton's pivotal role in shaping the foundations of the United States.
Presented in two acts, the play chronicles Hamilton's journey from an immigrant in the West Indies to becoming George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War. The show’s score blends rap, blues, jazz, and R&B with show tunes, capturing the essence of modern America while narrating a crucial chapter in its history.
Featuring stunning lyrics, book and music curated by Lin-Manuel Miranda, along with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, Hamilton showcases an exceptional lineup of talent. Directed by Thomas Kail and based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton, with orchestrations by co-arranger Alex Lacamoire, the production promises a captivating and unforgettable experience.
The musical introduces a diverse cast of characters, including Hercules Mulligan, James Madison, Eliza Hamilton, Marquis de Lafayette, Thomas Jefferson, John Laurens, Aaron Burr, Peggy Schuyler, Maria Reynolds, Philip Hamilton, Angelica Schuyler, George Washington, and even King George.
Originally opening in New York’s Public Theatre in 2015 to rave reviews, Hamilton made its way to London in 2017, garnering acclaim and winning numerous Tony and Grammy awards. After its first year in the West End, the musical achieved a record-setting seven Oliviers.
Don’t miss your chance to witness this extraordinary production that seamlessly weaves history, music, and talent into a theatrical masterpiece. Secure your tickets now and be part of the Hamilton phenomenon.
