72% Tomatometer 32 Reviews 63% Audience Score 50+ Ratings Natasha is furious that her closest friends are all having babies, but her life implodes when she unexpectedly ends up with a baby of her own. Controlling, manipulative, but incredibly cute, the baby twists Natasha's life into a surreal horror show. She soon discovers the true extent of the baby's deadly nature and makes increasingly desperate attempts to get rid of it. Making things creepier is Mrs. Eaves, the 70-year-old enigma who has spent the last 50 years living out of her car and seems to be everywhere the baby is. Natasha doesn't want a baby, but the baby definitely wants her. Read More Read Less Watch on Fandango at Home Buy Now

The Baby's tone can be as wobbly as a rocking crib, but its audacious nature of comedy and horror deserves to be nurtured.

Joe Clay Times (UK) Balancing horror and comedy is notoriously tricky... The Baby managed to straddle both camps, helped enormously by the charismatic de Swarte and a disconcerting score from the experimental composer Lucrecia Dalt. Rated: 4/5 Jul 8, 2022 Full Review Elizabeth Gregory London Evening Standard You can see the emotional heartstring-yanking coming from a mile off, stripping the show of nuance. Saying that, the series is fun, saved by De Swarte and Ghazalla’s no-nonsense response to the baby’s murderous tendencies. Rated: 3/5 Jul 8, 2022 Full Review Lucy Mangan Guardian It is very well done. Rated: 4/5 Jul 7, 2022 Full Review Prahlad Srihari Firstpost Where The Baby works is as a study of the pressures and challenges of motherhood. Aug 8, 2022 Full Review Emma Clark-Dow Stuff.co.nz This show is ridiculous in a hilarious way, with enough horror and jump scares – and trying to figure out how and why Natasha has this baby – to keep you on your toes. Jul 18, 2022 Full Review Donal Lynch Sunday Independent (Ireland) Here it’s a concept that feels stretched thin -- and its overtly politicised storytelling and conclusions about forced motherhood, while timely, also feel a little pat and predictable.
