Limestone Community High School has been there for me in many ways over the last four years. I love the staff. I have never felt like they were not on my side. They are always reminding me of new opportunities and offering their help and advice. My teachers are skilled at being patient and answering questions when they are asked. The worst parts of my experience here have been during my freshman year when COVID-19 was at its strongest. It was awful having to learn online and wear masks literally everywhere. We were even told to wear them outside for sports and that is where I drew the line. In all honesty, though, they were simply enforcing the rules. There is not really much else that I would consider a bad experience because any bad experiences were usually my mistakes that I learned from in the end.
I loved their color guard program because it let you meet all these new and exciting people!! I didn’t like some of their teachers because of their lack of experience with children this age. Limestone has an amazing key club program to help get community service hours and it’s a lot of fun!! One last negative is they told me I could graduate early and to when I was ready and said yes they took it away for no reason at all.
I have been going to Limestone for 4 years now. It is hard to say that the fights have gotten out of control and would have to be the worst part of my experience. The best part of my experience would be how the school all comes together for Easterseals and makes everyone feel included in what could possibly be going on.
