Red-Headed Woman

Red-Headed Woman ★★★½

well.... that escalated quickly!

Harlow to be fair, is a force of nature in this and this was before Baby Face, which plot wise surprised me. Harlow uses her assets and cunning to hitch herself to a rich fopp, Bill, and then uses him to get even higher standing in society, as well leaving a number of discarded "happy" rich old men strewn along the way.

I'll be honest here Irene was a bit of a doormat, Bill deserved everything he got and didn't deserve the happy ending. I was surprised how deranged it got at the end, I also liked Harlow "lived for another day" and basically escaped justice/karma here and got away with it all.
