The Challenge of Rin Tin Tin plot

The 101st Cavalry discovers two survivors of an Apache attack on a caravan of settlers: a young boy named Rusty and his dog, the German Shepherd "Rin Tin Tin." Both are taken to 'Fort Apache' where they are unofficially adopted by Lieutenant Ripley 'Rip' Masters. Together, Rusty and 'Rin Tin Tin' have many adventures as they help the cavalry subdue the rebellious Apaches and try to maintain law and order.
