Lebanon High School Reviews
Rating 3.83 out of 5 310 reviews
The best part about Lebanon is how the culture of people helped me make friends. When I went into my freshman year, I was very nervous. The friendliness of my fellow classmates and all of my teachers contributed to the change in my personality! I went from a very restrictive introvert to an extrovert who loves making conversation and meeting new people. If it wasn't for Lebanon High School and the influence it had on me to be more outgoing, I would not be the person I am today. My least favorite part of my experience at Lebanon High School is the food provided at lunch. They are not the best quality, and since I am a tall growing man, it does not fill my needs to feel satisfactory and full. In conclusion, Lebanon High School has had an amazing impact on my life and its future, and I could have never asked for a better school to change my life for the better!
Overall, I loved being a part of Lebanon city schools and enjoyed attending Lebanon High School. I attended Lebanon schools for all thirteen years of my school life, and could not have imagined attending anywhere else. I really enjoyed the culture of our high school. There was never a question about how welcoming everyone is to new students, as well as the amount of care given towards all students. Having freshman focus before the official first day of school is a genius idea. It was great as a freshman because it helped me get to use to my schedule and finding all of my classes, as well as getting to know the atmosphere of what high school is like. As a peer mentor, it was great to offer my insight. As a high schooler, I never felt unsafe or threatened. I never had to think about something happening or learning from an inappropriate or unqualified teacher. There were very few teachers that I ever had a problem with, and the problem was solely based around personality differences.
They have programs for children with learning disabilities but you have to have teachers sign off even if your student has documentation of that issue. This makes it hard if your student is doing well at the beginning of the year to get set up with special setup your student may need later to help them. Our kid does really well at the beginning of classes because she is super smart but cannot keep up with homework and has trouble finishing tests due to ADHD but they cannot set up accommodations later on when she starts to struggle so her grades suffer later.
