We offer online classes through a web-based program Apex. Our students can complete classes in major subjects and electives.

We offer focused certification and apprenticeship opportunities that lead prepare our students for work after graduation.
The Academy for Urban Scholars is a brick and mortar high school whose curriculum is designed to provide differentiated learning for every student. Each student is given a customized Individual Learning Plan (ILP).

John and Pamela Gregory are the founders of the Academy for Urban Scholars and its parent organization, the National Center for Urban Solutions headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. The Gregory’s also founded the African American Male Wellness Agency and NCUS TEC, a technical career college.
The couple is committed to improving urban communities through workforce opportunities, education, and wellness. Their work has touched tens of thousands of lives nationwide. They are excited about future opportunities to create meaningful change.
