Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo Seok were seen shedding tears together while filming an emotional scene.
On the 16th, tvN uploaded a behind-the-scenes video for episode 12 of Lovely Runner on its official YouTube channel. The video, over 21 minutes long, delighted fans who commented with gratitude toward the production team, saying, “You really understand what we want,” and “So thoughtful.”
The video captured a scene where Kim Hye Yoon, playing Lim Sol, and Byeon Woo Seok, portraying Ryu Seon Jae, were lying down together. Kim Hye Yoon’s character says, “Don’t cry,” to which Byeon Woo Seok’s character responds, “I won’t.” However, Kim Hye Yoon soon became overwhelmed with emotion and began to cry.
Despite her attempts to wipe away the tears and continue filming, Kim Hye Yoon’s emotions were so strong that the shooting had to pause. Byeon Woo Seok, providing a supportive shoulder, watched her closely. Kim Hye Yoon repeatedly said, “I can’t stop my tears.”
Even during the kiss scene, Kim Hye Yoon’s tears did not stop, ultimately leading Byeon Woo Seok to shed tears as well. Fans who watched the behind-the-scenes video praised the actors for their deep immersion in their roles. Comments included, “They have disappeared into their roles.
