I stayed here twice in the span of a few days as I was visiting family in town. While a bit pricier than some other hotels in the area, I've always had good experiences with Ayres properties, and trusted I would again...I wasn't disappointed. Christoper, the Front Desk Supervisor, checked me in both times, and he was friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and anytime I passed a staff member, they acknowledged me, but kept an appropriate distance, which I appreciate given everything going on. I also appreciated the additional cleaning measures that you can tell are in place across the property. I would not hesitate to stay here again, should the need arise. Keep up the great work!

Our stay was fantastic during a recent trip to Disneyland. We took Uber to the front entrance of the park for less than $10. Walking into the hotel, you can smell the cleanliness down to the baseboards and sheets. It’s energy efficient lighting in the room. My husband and kids kept saying how comfortable the beds were and had some of the best sleep ever. The breakfast was hot, buffet style and changed each day with potatoes, eggs and sausage. Overall, fantastic and highly recommend!

I had bugs in the bathroom and on coffee counter. Breakfast was poor food not hot all the time. One Day No Bread. Cooks worried about talking among them self and did not worry about customers. When it was time for them to put food away (which was sometimes early) cooks were making special eggs like omelets for them self and one customer ask if they made omelets. I understand they need to eat but make your food when no customers our in the room. Common Courtesy. Spoons restaurant had menus in room with prices and hours of Happy Hour wrong and the young 22 year old lady could care less if a female was there as she only worried about the men. Overcharged for my drink during Happy Hour and the menus in Spoons prices were changed for Happy Hour appetizers. They listed on there menu coffee, that was not available while Spoons was running the restaurant. only one lady (she was short in height) was amazing and always went out of her way for the customers. There sister hotel has coffee, hot water and tea bags 24 hours a day. Had to go there/told to go there to get coffee after breakfast hours

Responded 13 Feb 2020
Dear Guest, I am copying my email that I already sent you, to this Trip Advisor page: "Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your honesty. I am very sorry that both the Spoons staff and my breakfast staff really screwed up during your stay, I am very embarrassed. Please know that I take your comments seriously and have already spoken to the owner of Spoons. I have also sat down with my breakfast staff to go through your comments and work out solutions to them so other guests are not also negatively impacted. I have also issued a credit to your credit card in the amount of one nights room and tax as a goodwill gesture. Again, my sincere apologies." I have not yet received a response back from you but hope you saw the credit issued to your bank. Again, my sincere apologies. I just wish that during your 9 night stay you would have felt comfortable enough to approach me in person so that I could have resolved the issues in a more timely manner. The Hotel and Staff are very proud of our high rating; in guest service, quality of breakfast and room cleanliness so when we goof up we like to be told as soon as possible, held accountable and given the chance to correct the situation when the guest is still at the hotel. We never want a guest to be unhappy during their stay. And once again, thank you for comments. Sincerely, Christine Smith General Manager

This was our last hotel stay during our week in SoCal, and it was perfect. The lobby was warm and inviting, and although we arrived 45 minutes early there was a room ready to accommodate us. Everything was clean and well maintained, we had 3 very comfortable sleeps!

We are a Chapman University family attending a function at the school & was pleasantly surprised at the service, and friendliness of the staff at the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic (fruit, yogurt, juices, dry cereals, coffee, tea, bagels, bread, danish, scrambled eggs, hot cakes and the proteins change everyday (longanisa, sausage links, bacon) . . didn’t have to worry about finding breakfast! Room was clean, spacious for 3 people (I like the bed divider between the 2 beds we had), microwave oven, small refrig. coffeemaker with packages to make the coffee, water cups, ice jug, guest laundry ($4/load to wash, $4/load to dry). I love the front desk/Lobby area (places to sit, faux fireplace, table to play cards or board games if you brought any, a quiet place to read, welcoming). Ample parking. A comfortable place reasonably priced with breakfast every morning. We’ll be back! Nearby Mexican restaurant Anepalco was great! Food was freshly made, authentic. The Spoons Bar/Grill at the property was closed at the time we wanted dinner, so we took a walk next door and found Anepalco.

I booked 2 rooms here. The Manager Christine took the time out to here my concerns and why my family and I took this trip. She and her staff went out of their way for us. It was my daughters bday and staff literally wrote and drew out a car and left her a bottle of wine (she turned 28) my daughter was super happy and totally surprised! The room was so amazing and extremely clean! My family said I chose such an amazing hotel! Their free breakfast buffet was to die for! Everything was sooooo perfect! Easy access to get dropped off at front of Disneyland was a plus!! U only pay $6-$10 per person for a round trip! I will deff look forward to staying here again! I totes recommend this place! 5******!!!

We were at Ayres Hotel Orange for my major surgery at UCI Medical Center. The entire hotel experience was excellent. The room was larger than we had hoped for and was very quiet. It was clean with as many towels and bedding changes as we wanted. It was a "patio" queen and we could walk directly outside. The staff did everything possible to make me comfortable. The breakfast was generous with many choices. We saved money by utilizing the microwave and mini fridge in the room to prepare simple meals. The hotel was directly across the street from UCI Health, so my partner could easily walk to visit me with no parking worries (hotel parking included in the hospital rate, room fee!). The hospital rate was generous given how close the hotel is to Disney, etc. I would consider the rate a service to the community. I cannot recommend Ayres Hotel Orange highly enough.

I rated the hotel 5 stars due to good location..free parking, free brakfast and comfortable beds and pillows but as i want to stay here every year i will say some comments 1.rooms has no safe but you should use front desk safe. 2.brakfast contains meat products all made from pork this prevent muslims from eating it while if made from beef or chicken all people can eat it. 3.water pressure was sometimes weak in 3rd floor during the day not at night. 4. Location of the air conditioning in the room is very clos to the bed needs to be transferred to the ceiling as it may be harmful during sleep. 5. There should be more than one person in the front desk at night. Many thanks for all staff members of the front desk Especially the new trainee woman i am sorry to forget her name but she was very polite and helpful...really many thanks for the whole staff. I need to know the source and type of pillows to buy 2 of them

I enjoyed my stay here quite a bit. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I had booked a room that didn’t have a tub accidentally, and they found me another room that was also ground level with the giant tub at no extra cost. There is a microwave, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker in the room. Bed was very comfy. You will get a nice hot breakfast with eggs, sausage or bacon, yogurt, cut fruit, breads, cereals etc. I visited during Covid so they make you up a box of your choices and let you eat it outside on the little patio or in your room. All in all I was very happy to have chosen this hotel.

Do the rooms have an ironing board, iron and hairdryer?

They do have hair dryer, iron? Unfortunately not sure about the ironing board? I would think if they have an Iron they would supply the Ironing Board:) Perhaps when you book your reservation you can ask them what amenities are available for the room you book?
