I can’t start to express how grateful I am for 2 years at Circle. It helped me grow as an artist and even better, as a person. I discovered things about myself in the arts that I wasn’t capable to discover while getting my bachelors in acting. I learned that if you want to be a great actor you can’t have 3 things: Ignorance, Shame, Fear. Since the pandemic happened there’s been changes in faculty, curriculum and the physical building (yeah! I’m jealous) xD it’s an Amazing change For the better! And…it’s a plus that it’s on a Broadway Stage! I would recommend Circle 100%! I say this with my heart in my hand…the Best people that I know in my life is my Circle class. You’ll find yourself expressing so much and being vulnerable with your class that you can’t help become a family afterwards.

I had a fantastic experience at Circle. I came right out of HS and was looking for Musical Theatre training with a strong foundation in acting and I found it! I love how small the school is- it allowed for more attention on my individual growth from faculty members and that was a big perk. The school went through a big change of the administration during COVID which has proven to be very positive and the school is freshly remodeled and looks gorgeous! Also, the new faculty members they have brought in are fantastic and I'm a bit jealous of the current students that I'm not attending the Circle as it is now. The community is lovely and stays with you into your career- I still even 7 years later feel connected to the school and am so grateful for the foundation it gave me for the rest of my career. I attended the 2 year Theatre Arts certificate program at Circle in the Square Theatre School, and I cannot speak highly enough specifically about two teachers who still teach at the school today, my dance and acting teacher, Jeanne Slater, and my acting teacher Jacqueline Jacobus. They strive each day to help students become better artists, while thoroughly supporting you along the way. I made lifelong friends at this program simply because you have to trust one another in the work you’re doing day in and day out. An experience I’ll never forget, and am incredibly grateful for.
