On a Scopitone, a French-made "video" jukebox made from WWII surplus parts and 16mm films of popular artist songs.
The first version of this song that I heard was by Lydia Lunch and Rowland Howard, played by my college radio station in the early 1980s. I thought it was great, so called in a few weeks later to request it again. They said that they didn't have that version at the station, but they could play the original by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood. I was blown away that the original was weirder than the No Wave remake. Here is a video of the cover version:
