Last season, we saw her take home an Emmy for her guest role in Poker Face, in which she hilariously climbed a rose trellis while cleverly camouflaged in a natty pink and green pantsuit. Right now, Light can be seen in Max series Julia, in which she plays Blanche Knopf, the legendary publisher of Julia Child’s books, and in Starz’s horror-comedy show Shining Vale, Light is Courteney Cox’s fabulously passive-aggressive mother Joan.

Next up, Light will star opposite Billy Crystal, who also serves as EP, in the Apple TV+ series Before. The exact plot details may remain mysterious, but she warns us to expect some tasty treats.
