Hands down the BEST Waterpark. I LOVE the thoughtfulness that is put into thinking of Littles at this park. They have small, medium and large everything, from inner tubes to the water slides, to waves pools! The amusement park is great and just as thoughtful. Love this place so much, bought season passes, and we live over 4 hours away! So, that should say a lot!

Great amusement park and fantastic water park... not overly crowded and lines for rides are normally tolerable. We stay 2 days 1 day on park rides and one day in the water park. We always stay at lake Rudolf and ride the shuttle to and from the park. Great place for young and old alike! Lots of walking and several hills to climb! But worth it!

Kids of all ages love Holiday World. It is clean, safe, and a ton of fun. We go almost every year, but this year, we had fewer grown-ups in our group. With just 2 adults, it was hard to enjoy and please the kids with the height differences resulting in long wait times for both age groups until we split up. The food prices have jumped in the past couple of years so we packed our lunch and dinner. They have a nice picnic area by the car park (we parked in "The Legend" parking lot). We always buy tickets in advance for the discount. Happy Halloween Weekends is a fun and festive time to visit, but the water park is closed. They do offer free drinks and sunscreen. Take your debit/credit card because they have a no cash policy. And wear your walking shoes!!!

What an awesome amusement park, I can't wait to come back. The rides are high quality and the staff are top notch. Do not pass up a trip here, you won't regret it. I was here two days, and the first day The Voyage was closed all day but they got it open the second day which was awesome because so many other parks would just wait and fix it later but HW got it fixed overnight. What a fantastic experience that I can't recommend enough.

I might make mention of the admission cost... tickets were $62 ea. I have 4 children and 2 adults who attended. We got there in the mid afternoon and we're quite surprised by the fact that several rides were down due to "mechanical" or "Nature" reasons. The Thunderbird was closed. The Raven had a deer in the woods close to the tracks so it was temp closed. And when it reopened the line was so long that they quit taking passengers bc it was an hour before the park closed. The Bucameer closed due to a lap restraint issue. Getting to each ride is a brutal walk constantly going up and down steep hills on uneven walkways which are constantly bottlenecked. And one of the wave pools was closed for an unknown reason. The only other wave pool was super crowded and it felt like you were constantly bumping into someone and saying excuse me. Then when the waves did start it was impossible to enjoy it bc it was so crowded. The closings made all other venues extra long lines. At one point it was an hour and a half wait to get on the Legend and 45 min wait to get on water rides that held multiple (up to 6) people at once. It was ridiculous. I paid over $400 to take my family there for the day and was highly disappointed in the rides and availability of such. And the food, oh my Lord! It was $9 for an ice cream cone! A pizza to feed 4 was $39.99 +tx. One pizza! I know it's a tourist spot but c'mon people $40 for a pizza!?! (That only has 8 slices btw. Same size you would get from dominos but with only one topping. Extra toppings were $5.99 ea!!!) Very dissatisfied with the quality/value of food choices there. There was one saving grace for the entire trip, and that was the drone show. It began after the park closed and lasted about 15 minutes. I posted a short clip of it just enough to get the idea without spoiling the show for those who will visit from now to the end of July. It was totally the best part of the visit we had. I will say that all the park employees were very kind and helpful. The service was on par with just about any low to mid priced attraction. My children, of which we have 4 ,ranging in ages from 7 to 14, said it was the worst attraction we have been to. They were totally disappointed in everything, which in turn is reflected in my review here. As mentioned the only saving grace was the friendly staff and the drone show after the park closed. Worst venue to date. And all on a Monday.

We always have so much fun when we visit here. We are close to Six Flags in our area and even with the 3.5 hour drive we still spend less visiting Holiday World. We usually leave early enough to get there when they first open and stay all day before booking a room at one of the local hotels. The park is nice and spacious. The wait times for the rides are reasonable. Food and drink prices are lower in comparison to a lot of other places. I would say if you are looking for a fun, affordable, family trip Holiday World is the way to go.

We love Holiday World! Our family has been going there around 43 years!!! Used to be called Santa Claus. It has grown so much over the years. But it is still a family oriented, clean park. I like the fact that they do not serve alcohol...so you can go have fun without dealing with drunk people. You don't see rowdy behavior either. I think the admission price is reasonable and parking is FREE!

This park is totally awesome for spending the day. It doesn’t have too many roller coasters (only five) but they are absolutely great (The Voyage is simply too good to describe it here). Besides, the water park is absolutely amazing, with tones of first class water coasters that will give you A LOT of fun. When I went, during the summer, parking was free and (yes) soda was free too, with several drinking stations across the whole park for you to go and simply grab what you want.

It’s a really awesome place. The roller coasters are amazing, as well as the water slides. I would really recognize coming here even if you’re afraid of riding roller coaster, as I was one of those people before coming to Holiday World. I wasn’t when I left, though.

What a gem! This is my family’s second time coming. The park is always so clean, and the staff are so helpful. We love the free beverage stations, my kids make sure to swing by the oasis every chance they get. The water park is so fun with lots to do for all ages. The dry parks are so fun too. Pro tip, don’t try doing it all in one day, come one day and buy a discounted pass for the following at the gate when you leave. The entire park is so picturesque. We will 100% be coming back!

We had a group of 8 people and had an absolute blast! They had all their Halloween stuff happening so we did the hay ride, corn maze and drone show (which was really cool). We will definitely be back!

Great family oriented amusement park. As advertised, free parking, sunscreen, and soft drinks. Several areas for the younger guests to ride and play. The water park is large with many different slides, splash zones, and wave pools. There are wooden coasters for those who enjoy that type of ride. They also have a well versed genre of food courts to choose from including a Thanksgiving style meal. We were there on a Sunday the last week of July and the longest wait time was a little over 10 minutes.

This was my daughter and my first time here, and we had a blast. Age 4 is the limit for free entry, so be prepared for being your little one a ticket. Must wear shoes, shirts, and shorts for entry into the theme park, which is where you enter the park, and the splashing safari part doesn't open till 11. I will post a picture of what I wore into the park day 2, and I had no issues. The only issue I had was the very last ride of they day when I was hooked into the wooden Rollercoaster in the Thanksgiving holiday part. She told me she would let me ride this time but next time I needed a shirt, but I had no issues entering the park from start and leaving the water park to go to the dry amusement part portion. All together we had a wonderful time and will be coming back again.

A very fun place to go. You will need 2 days to do everything in both parks. The 1 picture is the swings in Halloween land. The first one is Turkey whirl in Thanksgiving land. They are building more. Will have a Boomerang ride next year.

Our family had an AMAZING time! The rides were great, the variety of water slides are crazy! The park caters to all ages which is awesome, we have infant to 17 age range. There is something for everyone! Also the power went out in part of the park an hour before close and the park has offered another full day for each of us for free! The parking was hassle free, there are signs all throughout the park so it's easy to find things, there are bathrooms everywhere and drinks stations at every corner. Not to mention the park is so clean, there are staff everywhere to assist and very friendly. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

Went back in the beginning of July. We spent part of the day in the Waterpark before it rained. Holiday World has a policy if their rides are down for a certain time and reason, they will honor that days ticket for a future visit. We made our return trip on a weekend in mid August. (School is back in session so the park has weekend only operation at that time.) The park is beautifully maintained. Free parking (including spaces for EV), free sunscreen stations, free beverage stations. A small selection of awesome Rollercoasters and and even better Waterpark. Excited to return 2024 for the new coaster addition!

Been quite a few years since I've visited... Won't be that long again. Had a great time with the roller-coasters, Splashin' Safari and everything in between. Atmosphere was great and cleanliness was top notch. Highly recommend! Those roller-coasters are intense and no joke! Loved it!

Though I'm not a racing enthusiast, I still thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Speedway Museum! We added the Kiss The Bricks tour to our day and it was well worth it. It was very informational and gave a great look into the track itself. The staff was some of the nicest I have ever interacted with at a museum. Right, when we walked in we were greeted and they helped us plan out our day to fit our interests. They truly made the experience even better!

We were thrilled to find the Borg-Warner Trophy available for photos, along with the chance to sit in a racing car and enjoy the simulators. Our experience at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum was nothing short of fantastic, with the staff being the highlight of our trip. Join as a team member for the best value on seeing the museum and saving at the gift shop plus many other perks! Give yourself time here we spent 5 hours and it was not enough! Can't wait to go back, since we are members we can as many times as we would like for the year which is great for all the changing exhibits they have.

The museum was very well laid out. I enjoyed looking at the cars, the winner wall and the other things in the displays. We chose to take the tour too and really enjoyed seeing some of the 'race day' behind the scenes areas up close. Our tour guides were fun and knowledgeable and I learned all sorts if interesting trivia. Frankly, not a fan, but still overall enjoyable.

I came here right before the remodel for the first time. I had a great experience and prices were cheap. The building was very clean and organized. We bought the tour bus tickets and got to kiss the bricks and take photos with pagoda from the track. The tour guide was very nice. We also went to the gift shop. They had a very wide variety of items that were fairly inexpensive

Excellent hands on experience of the most famous racetrack in the world. Took a bus tour of the track (unfortunately only at 20 MPH), got to kiss the bricks. Took a tour of the museum. They say every car starts up and runs. You can try to break a speed record in their video game race game (free). Price breaks on active military, veterans and seniors.

Great tour of the facility. We did the tram tour with 3 kids and it entertained them too. The museum has plenty of old cars to look at and examine. The information about the history is amazing! Ferrari’s were on the track the day we where there and sounded amazing.

Unfortunately, the museum is under renovation and is not set to open until April 2025. We did receive a tour of the grounds, the 'Winner's Circle', the Pagoda, and we were able to go to the gift shop. We were only here 30-45 minutes.

Enjoyed my visit at the Indianapolis Speedway Museum! Not really into the Indy 500, but wanted to stop anyway. It was really interesting to see the exhibit and cars of past years winners.

Even if you're not a racing enthusiast, you'll enjoy this stop. We added the tour to our package and it was well worth the additional charge. The guide was great, shared his life experiences as a Indy 500 fan which made the tour much more informative. Only item which couldn't be included was the speedway lap because it was in use by Chevy running Corvette test trials. Museum has many of the past winning cars and an interactive area with racing simulators.

Awesome experience if you are a race car fan. The toure around the track was really good. Lot of things to do. Plan to spend at least 2 hrs. It would still be a rush.

Had a great time visiting. Take a moment to get into a real Indy race car, plus a free 4-lap virtual qualifier was a good time. The main exhibit is smaller compared to similar (vintage) we have been in around the US, but it was still a great stop to make

Way cool! If you even remotely like cars this is a spot to go. They have cars from almost every era. The staff are friendly and plenty of things to see and do. They had neat simulators to try when I visited, super fun! The tour was informative and interactive, was told all the cars here function as well regardless of the date. They host team builder events too. Was definitely worth the visit.

A neat tour about the history of the speedway. You can take an on-track tour of the race course. They let you out at the starting line and give you a chance to "kiss the bricks" and take photos. Inside the museum has many displays that tell about the history of the speedway. There are many cars on display that won previous races as well.

While temporarily closed, they are still doing tours when available. Took a great tour of the pagoda and got to see views of the track I’ve never seen before. Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly answering all my questions. Seemed to be well organized even though they just changed locations due to closure of museum.

If you are any kind of a race fan this is one of the most iconic tracks in the world! Unfortunately the museum is closed but we took the tour and visited the gift shop. Our tour guides were great and made the tour even more fun. We got to visit the winners podium and suites. There also happen to be a test of the new electric Hummers going on so we did get to see some of that. Overall great experience and I hope to come back for a race day and when the museum reopens.

What a fun experience! Definitely recommend the Kiss the Bricks tour! Buy tickets in advance! Give yourself a few hours to spend at the IMS! On the KtB tour, they take you on a 45 minute narrated tour around the 2.5 mile track and provide you with a wealth of history along the way! Once you arrive at the bricks (finish line), you’re allowed to exit the bus and take photographs, and even kiss the bricks like the tradition is for the winner of the Indy 500! The museum is awesome too! Many of the vehicles used to race are on display. There are interactive exhibits as well! At the end, there is a large gift shop with tons of items to purchase. We definitely recommend doing this tour if you’re ever anywhere near Indy or Speedway!

I came into the tour and museum with basically zero racing knowledge. I learned quite a bit about the history of racing and particularly the history of the Indy 500. I found it fun and informative and felt that the staff rolled out the red carpet for our group (we were there with the FFA during National Convention week).

The IMS Museum of "old" was a must visit for any motorsports fan, history buff, or Indiana native. It has always had cool up close displays of Indy 500 winning race cars, & cool Pace Cars from the Brickyard 400 & 500. I had to visit 1 last time before the remodel & can't wait to see the updated Museum in 2025! The staff has always been very friendly & knowledgeable about the displays.

Great place, lots of interesting race cars and history. We did the kiss the bricks tour around the track. Museum closing November 6 2023, for remodel. Reopens in 18 months.

While the museum closed on Nov 5, 2023 for renovations which will take 18 months to complete, they will still be offering tours of the race track, which was a highlight of our visit. You can even walk across the finish line and kiss the fabled bricks.

I thought that I was not a big fun of auto racing until we visited this museum. I bought tickets in advance, just wanted to entertain my boys. When we came to museum we were offered an extra guided tour to the racetrack, Victory Podium and the iconic Pagoda. After visiting Victory Lane. We traveled to the top of the Pagoda for a breathtaking view of the Speedway and the surrounding downtown skyline. The museum is full of vintage cars, trophies, photographs, fine art, and other artifacts. So fascinating.

My 7 year old son had this on his summer bucket list so we drove 6 hours to get here. It was well worth the drive. The size of the place is mind staggering. A very well organized and engaging museum of science, culture, history, and an endless amount of learning opportunities for young and old alike. Surprising you around every corner. Keeping children engaged in large and small hands on spots from the 1 st floor to the fourth. I cannot recommend this great gem of a museum enough. If you can drive and know a child who will accompany you, make plans now to visit. You won’t be sorry!

Nice museum but not the top. I would expect more for smaller children. You start your tour among the dinosaurs and end up on carrousel. I would say it is more for older kids as there is a part dedicated to Greece and also inspirational stories of Anne Frank, Ruby, etc. This is very well done with useful information. I mean, definitely the best part. Everything was clean and staff was friendly and nice. The outdoor part was unfortunately closed due to heatwave.

This place is very nice! A lot of walking, so make sure you have on comfortable shoes. I love their different exhibits; the kid history and Greece were my favorites. I appreciate all of the hand sanitizing wipes and liquids that they have placed around the museum. The outdoor sports center was FUNNNN! My boys loved being able to play all the sports. Make sure your kids are wearing closed toe shoes. The place was spotless, even the cafeteria and bathrooms. I appreciated the free parking. The only con is that the food place closes pretty early, so if you plan to eat there, arrive before 2:30. If you are visiting from out of town and plan to go to the zoo and children’s museum, purchase the Indy Pass to save. You can visit both within 24 hours if you purchase the day pass. We arrived at the CM at 11:30 am, then made sure we arrived at the zoo by 10/30-11 am the next day.

Went there on president day. The place was packed. All the children were enjoying themselves and actively participated in various activities. This is a well organized and beautiful place. All the parents should take their children there for a pleasant outing.

We had a spectacular time!! Garage and Lot Parking is free. Park on 3rd level for easy skywalk access. Take 4-5 quarters for single use lockers. Plan to spend the entire open time there! It blew by and we got to do everything without rushing. You can bring your own food!

What a great place to take kids. Very clean and well maintained facilities. The Ryan White exhibit got me all chocked up. They allow reentry all day so bring a cooler. The outdoor experience was great too, with tons of space to run and play.

We had a great day at the museum It was a bit busy .The kids still enjoyed it. They really liked the dino area..Would like to go back during the week when its not to busy. The tickets were 34. Each and snacks were $10. for each kid.We didn't know you could take your lunch in ,will do that next time.

We had a great time. I did think it would be more engaging for the kids. There was a lot to learn, as expected for a museum. But, not a lot of FUN engaging activities as I expected. The kids did enjoy themselves. We had to wait over an hour to get into the Minecraft exhibit. It is new so we kind of expected that. Definitely buy tickets online!!

- Love this museum. It’s huge! - There are so many activities to do for kids and I like the way they also incorporated activities for adults as well. My favorite was the interactive music. I didn’t upload pics because I do not want to post people’s faces without permission. - I recommend purchasing tickets in advance. There was a long line when we arrived - not sure how fast the in-line purchase was though. - The bathrooms were not clean. I used one. But there was enough toilet paper and paper towel. - There are some sitting areas. I’ll recommend for parents with infants or others who may need it.

I grew up going to this museum and love bringing my 4 kids (ages 10 to 4). They love exploring different parts and the new exhibits. It is always clean, wonderfully nice staff and great play areas for all ages. The museum is always updating exhibits for the best experience and has so many fun random programs in each exhibit you can participate in! Plus, they have amazing safety measures if you ever need to use them. They will shut down the entire museum if you have lost your kid. They won't let anyone in or out and have all staff come out to search. (Not that I know this from personal experience 🙃) The family pass is worth the money. Even a day pass is worth it! You won't need to do anything else for the rest of the day! Plus, you can bring in your own food if you plan to stay during lunch.

LOVED THIS MUSEUM It is the best children museum I have ever been to. The outdoor area with all the sports experience was out of the world. We enjoyed golf, basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer, football, racing... it was amazing. The indoor area had so many interesting exhibits, including minecraft and pop art. We went when the museum opened. We left when the museum closed.

An awesome experience here. First with my kids, and now with my grandkids. Over time I have seen the admission price increase, but try to imagine the upkeep of all the displays, and it becomes understandable. There are way too many exhibits here to describe. Plan on spending hours here and having a great time. If you wish to save some money, eat at home and come here with a full belly.

Worth every penny. Tip : order tickets online at least a week in advance. I am a non resident so no extra discount. There is something to interest every age even adults. The Dinosaur exhibit was one of our highlights of the visit. There is literally something to do or see on every floor. The outdoor sports area was a marvel. You could easily spend hours here. It’s impossible to experience everything in one day. I’d love to get a season pass , we need to visit 2x more before the year is over.

This place is amazing! We took our daughter here and she loved it! The exhibits are diverse, interactive and very well done. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. There is just a ton to do. We spent several hours and didn’t see everything. They also have a very nice outdoor area with a lot to do. If you’re in the area, this is a must see if you have kids.

So much fun! Doesn't matter what your age is. I personally, haven't been here since grade school and seeing the trains brings back so many great memories. I loved to be able to share the experience with my family. All the exhibits were fantastic. My boys were thrilled to ditch school for a family - educational field trip!

Great place for fun, education, culture, and art. Great for kids. I really appreciated the kid-friendly exhibits that are low to the ground, and the kid-friendly bathrooms. The main downside is, since it's so popular, it can be packed and noisy. I mean, it was hard to talk to the person next to me, and at times I couldn't think straight. It's so huge, we didn't even do all the indoor stuff in one day.

We had a great time at The Children's Museum. Our 7-year-old loved the Sports Legends area, especially the paddle cars and treehouse. And he also really enjoyed the play areas on the third and fourth floors. The food selection is also great for adults and kids. 😁

It was so much fun and lots to do. We were there for about 5 hours and still didn’t get to see and do everything. Our favorite was the dinosaur exhibit in the beginning. It was very very busy and crowded but that was to be expected. Only complaint is that something different needs to happen to the food court. It was such a cluster and so crazy. Either needs a different system or add more restaurants. But I highly recommend everyone to visit. It’s great for all ages.

Hands down best children’s museum I’ve ever been too! My toddler and child enjoyed themselves so much they couldn’t stop talking about it in the car! The outdoor sports was mega fun and the museum inside was full of kid friendly activities and a toddler safe space it was perfect!

I’m going to give this place 5 stars. For one, nostalgia, I used to love going there as a child. I was able to bring my son back here about 30 years later and the updates, along with some of the nostalgia, didn’t disappoint. I will say that after about 11-12 years old, it only becomes worth it to see the new exhibits that come out a few times a year. We went to it recently and had a great time, but the NASA/Space area is the only standard thing my son was really interested in. Unfortunately, a couple of the activities were broken, which I’ve noticed in past visits also. I believe they are funded by donations and memberships and not sure if they receive subsidies, but overall they do a great job. The dinosaur exhibit is a must see for anyone and the sport area is a great new addition that wasn’t there when I was young, but that’s only open in the warmer weather. Add on: The winter fest snowball fight is a good concept, but they need to have different times for different age groups and they need to expand the play area. As you can see, it’s a giant cluster. Still fun, although more focused on 8 and under.

We've been here several times and it gets better every time! Between my and my bro in law's family there are four kids between 3 and 6 and they absolutely love it! I often think I want to visit here without them! The interactive dino coloring mural wall is always must see! And you can't ignore the giant dinosaurs you see busting through the walls on the drive up. The exhibits are engaging for all ages and if you go on the right day, it won't be too busy and you can jam around as you please! Don't forget the sports area off the main area and play with all the interactive games! Coach David was awesome!

We had an ok time. It was super crowded! So much so you could barely maneuver around between exhibits. Made it so the kids couldn’t get up to see stuff. We never made it through the half of the museum before they closed. That’s how packed it was. There should be a limit on how many tickets they sale each day so families can really enjoy the day. There were hour waits to do some of the stuff. We did our best to enjoy what we could

A few years ago, I had the privilege of visiting the museum. While the main exhibits remain the same, they are still worth your time and attention. Recently, I went on a day trip to the museum and found that it was extremely hot inside, and there were a lot of people there. This seemed to make some of the visitors irritable. Even so, it was still a worthwhile experience!

Wonderful place to visit and had lots for little kids to do! I especially loved the dinosaur exhibit and the kids play scape was a huge hit! The “inside out” temporary exhibit was super cute, and very creative.

Lots of bathrooms!! Very clean, great deal for the kids. Just an all around good experience, truly. The outdoor space and sports activities are super cool. They have to redesign the tree though so folks can go up and down, but I was thoroughly impressed with it all.

The place is certainly big and if you're tight with time, it's recommended to plan your visit in advance. There's always something for the kids to do, to play, or to have hands-on experience. Definitely designed with kids in mind. The outdoor sports center was a hit with the kids. They loved it!

I was expecting "the biggest children's museum in the world" to be way more fascinating. It is okay, with some interesting things, but nothing out of the ordinary. I felt it was missing some more activities that the kids could do to learn something. The outside playground was really nice and the kids enjoyed it a lot.

Phenomenal museum particularly the outdoor fields of sports - basketball, tennis, hockey, football, mini golf etc. the sports are customized for all ages. My kids spent half the day there. The indoor exhibits were pretty good particularly the dinosaur area. Being a children's museum, the only thing I'd say that could be improved is more tactile activities for the younger kids.

I’m not a fan of Indiana Live Casino. It’s closer than my preferred casino (French Lick Hotel & Casino) but my husband enjoys going once a year and I never enjoy myself. Three New Year Eves in a row and every year the band has been terrible, the food / drinks are over priced and have very little alcohol in them…I am NEVER going back. I’ve spent thousands at this casino whereas at French Lick, where I’ve stayed over a dozen times, I’ve lost but I’ve also won. The service is better. The drinks are better. The atmosphere is incredible and the facility itself is absolutely gorgeous.

I went early and it was not crowded. The staff members were friendly. There was a lot of laughter at the roulette table. There were several sections of slot machines. The music was good and people were happy and singing. I also noticed a seafood restaurant and a bar & grill inside. I will review them later. It is a Cesar owned casino.

Tried Jack Binion's and it was delicious! Our server, Alisha, was amazing, cheeful and helpful! We had shrimp cocktail, truffle fries, New York strip with mushrooms and onions and a Ceasar salad. Food was 10/10, drinks were 10/10, atmosphere was 10/10. Definitely recommend!!!

Love the new poker room. They are a little short staffed for servers and some of the dealers don't quite understand all of the rules yet. Overall it was a really good experience and I am planning to visit this poker room multiple times a week. Update: Dealers improved dramatically. There is the occasional issue but that is common everywhere. They could still use more servers in the poker room. I frequent this establishment at least 3 times a week and plan to continue. Thanks to the friendly poker room staff.

Nice casino that isn't over crowded with a beautiful racetrack in wonderful rural Indiana. A must see!

Nice place. Overall clean. Not worth it to lose all the cash you walk in with. Maybe they should dial back how much they rig their machines. I stopped coming over 7 years ago and I probably won't be back for another 7

Great Casino 😁 Staff is professional, courteous and all around super friendly. Card Room in the back was Clean, well lit and Professionally run. I had a Great time. Gambled untill sunrise 🌄 and walked out side to See the Race Horses 🐎 exercises. Great place.

You lose often and sometimes, you win some. It's all in the game and part of gambling. The atmosphere is great. Good housekeeping, overall cleanliness is awesome considering the number of people that frequent the establishment daily. The complimentary coffee and fountain drinks are almost always full, and the staff is very polite and friendly. The rewards have slacked up a bit, unless you spend tons of money and in doing that, the casino will always take in far more than they payout, its a business though and they wouldn't be in business if they didn't. I definitely recommend the Horseshoe, if for nothing other than the casino experience...

I like going to the casino because it's a good & safe place to have fun. The security are very thorough with checking ID's. The place is always clean & not too crowded. I always find a game to play, I never win anything but it's still fun to try. Also; parking is free, entry is free & the staff have free fountain drinks or bottled water. There's also a cafe that you can order food from.

May have caught it on a particularly slow day, but on my visit, I would not give it more than three stars. First, the highlights: Spacious, many new and fan-favorite slots, high-end decor, and several eateries with menus to satisfy most all tastes. The venue is part of the Ceasar's Rewards realm, and makes it well known throughout the advertising you'll see around most every turn. However, visiting on a Tuesday night was rather lack-luster, with only one restaurant open and about 10% - 20% of the slot games shut down, or otherwise off-line. Not a fan of indoor smoking, so that's a one-star deduction from me. There was even a guy with a cigarette in the "no smoking" area - so obviously no enforcement, which is a problem if you don't care for the smell of cigarette smoke or have the lung capacity to tolerate it. Signing in as a new member, and only being "rewarded" with $5.00 of free play didn't really entice me to put up a good review. Sure, I'm grateful they offered anything at all, but I've been to much smaller venues offering at least $10.00 or more. Seemed chincy. I was also surprised to find you (or at least myself) are unable to cash out tickets for under a dollar in value with the auto-teller machines. I wanted to combine tickets to push the total amount to the next dollar level, but the auto-teller refused to cooperate, and indicated a visit to the cashier was required. Of course, there was a line and only two cashiers working, so that was extra time just standing around in the cigarette smoke. The slots I did play were particularly stingy, and I dropped $50.00 with little to no return - but that happens anywhere (and seemingly moreso recently). Looking at other players while walking around, I did not witness much success for them either. Like I said, may have been just an off-night, and possibly better on a weekend, or when a horserace event is happening. All I'll say is this evening was a rather uninspiring experience making me question if I'd care to return. Hopefully you'll have a better time. That's why it's called "gambling."

I've been to at least 6 or 7 casinos in Indiana and this one is definitely in the top two. Has a huge selection of slots and also has electronic roulette, electronic blackjack, huge amount of table games so quite the variety. Place is pretty big too and has a covered garage. My wife and I hit the Maxi Jackpot for $850 on one of the slots with only an .88 cent bet so our first experience there was definitely amazing haha. Enjoy and good luck to you guys!

I don't like this place one bit. You couldn't win a thing if u even begged. I refuse to go to a casino the first time and loose everything so quick. I didn't see one person win anything and there wasn't that many people at that!!! Good riddance.

I can only comment on racetrack/clubhouse (did not use casino). A superb racing destination. The tracks (turf and dirt) are well maintained by a professional maintenance crew. Great equine veterinarian services in cooperation with U of Purdue located nearby. Good food on menu at the clubhouse. If you're into horse racing.... this is a great venue!

1st time, place is huge. Good mix of old-school slots with new. Lots of virtual table game options. Only food on a Tuesday afternoon was sandwich spot. Hot fries hot burger cold drinks.

Good selection of slots. Over 1700 I believe. Smoking and non-smoking sections, though most areas are indeed smoking. Bathrooms need a little maintenance, but clean. Staff friendly.

Amazing time! Best nights to go are Sunday-Thursday since Friday/Saturday is too busy and you can’t use any machine you want when you want to use it. Need to go with a little spending money, definitely $200+ to really win enough to take home. Sign up for the rewards and have fun! It’s only 20 mins from my house and my friends and I love it as a quick little mini vacation for the evening. Service is always on point and the casino is always clean.

We went for the horse racing and love the track a d ease to get around. Ample parking and several places to eat. Had a great time. Casino is new, clean and table games. Will be back.

If you like poker, coming here is a nice choice. Have everything you need. You can spend 5 hours more. Good ambient has good people and has a nice staff. They also have a restaurant for you to take a break. Good time to spend your money and weekends having fun🙌🏽🤩

I really liked and enjoyed this zoo better than the Indy zoo, albeit I give the Indy zoo 5 stars as well. I just enjoyed this zoo and experience better. My reef encounter tour wasn't as good as expected, seemed a bit short and a boring but I was just hoping for something better like feeding the sharks and lion fish however the lady that gave me the tour was great and knew her stuff! All of the staff here were amazing, friendly, helpful, very upbeat, positive, and seemed to go above and beyond!!

This was my 1st time visiting and I loved it. It was so hot out yesterday but the zoo has plenty of shady rest areas. A lot of the animals weren't out because of the heat so I would definitely love to go back when it is a little cooler outside. It was still very enjoyable.

Went on a rainy Saturday morning to find no crowd and everything open! It's changed a lot over the years and would be hard to recognize if you haven't been in the last 10 years or so. It's worth checking back out! The goats, chickens, and giraffes are $1 each to feed, and the rides are $3 each per person all done digitally on an iPad in the zoo, card only no cash that we saw.

5 stars all the way around! If you go early, you get the most out of your day, the staff is out and ready to interact with all of the zoo goers! Food was great, rides were smooth and no issues ever at this location. The animals were amazing and vibrant as well as seemed to enjoy their handlers! Just a spectacular display once again Fort Wayne Children's Zoo!!!

Fortunate to be members here for a few years and it is worth every penny! We always make a memory here! If you go to the zoo close to closing time, especially if you are a member and have that extra hour. You'll most likely see the tigers. Very active, as I think they're waiting to be fed. Always a fun time at the zoo in Fort Wayne! From the sky lift over the safari to the Indiana farm petting zoo, there are animals everywhere although some are pretty good at blending in to their surroundings. The monkeys and seals are adorable, while the carousel and train are fun for all ages. The zoo is very well maintained and clean and the staff is friendly. Bring a snack and drink for yourself and the kiddos, it's allowed, which makes the trip more affordable for families. It's a great way to spend the day!

We went as a school event. It was a very chilly day so we didn't get to see a few animals because they were inside. And there was no bears? Anyways the paths were nice the enclosure were nice. You can touch the stingrays!! The seals were very active we were there at feeding time. The tiger was very active. I would def go again.

Took my favorite kid to the zoo before he headed back to school. I hadn't been to the zoo in several years, and enjoyed all the fun times we shared there. The zoo is so inviting, super clean, wonderful friendly staff and amazing animals. Highly recommend to kids from 1 to 101!

The last time I went to the Fort Wayne children’s zoo was before Covid! Well, since I’ve been back, they made a lot of major improvements and have added quite a few new features. I love that you can purchase a ride pass for the day at a low cost of $25 for 12 rides. I recommend checking them all out and most importantly, enjoying all the time with your little ones!

We went on December 15th 2023 and while not all the animals were out due to it being winter and too cold for them we enjoyed it so much. The zoo keepers were amazing and welcoming, there were enough animals, birds and fish to see to have a blast. We took a ride on a mini train, pet the sting rays, brushed the goats and just enjoyed the cozy atmosphere! There were even some things we didn't take advantage of that were available like free carousel rides, letters to Santa station, princesses Anna and Elsa and a visit with Santa. We had a great time and I highly recommend visiting!

This was my first time visiting this zoo and I was surprised at how sprawling it is. They have multiple different "regions" which are landscaped and designed very well to make you feel like you've been transported to another continent. They have lots of different animals, and even some interactive feeding experiences with animals like giraffes and stingrays. They do a good job of having employees at a lot of the exhibits discussing the animals. They also have a few rides to check out around the zoo, including a ski lift type ride and a water log ride. Overall this is a great zoo and absolutely worth dedicating a day to.

We had the best time! Easy & free parking. Lots of animals where you can get up close! Lush gardens of beautiful flowers and greenery everywhere. Very easy to navigate with strollers, wagons or wheelchairs. Lots of photo opportunities throughout the zoo. It seemed as if there was always a bathroom nearby which helps tremendously with small children. Plan your trip accordingly, they have different animal feedings throughout the zoo. We went when It was overcast so the giraffes weren’t as active and if you don’t get there early they may have eaten a lot for the day. The stingrays only feed at 11 & 2 I believe. The petting zoo is always fun we did that last. We started in Africa and moved counterclockwise. Cafés throughout the park and lots of benches to stop and take a rest. They even had more private places for nursing mothers. We can’t wait to come back!

I really enjoyed spending time at this zoo with my husband. He wanted to go there the day of our concert as a way to pass the time before it started and it exceeded our expectations! Lots of animals to see and well kept from what we saw. Would definitely recommend!

This was our first visit and we enjoyed it very much. I truly appreciated the vegetation and water features all around the zoo. There were many places to rest in the shade. The exhibits seemed large enough for the animals to have adequate space and were clean. The animals all looked healthy.

What a great gem in Fort Wayne! We spent the afternoon enjoying the animals, the botanicals, the rides...all lovely. Peacocks roam freely. The zoo is clean and walkable. The theming is excellent throughout. Don't let the name fool you, it's for all ages...we were a party of five adults!

Great experience. The zoo was very clean and mostly shady. Not extremely large so you’re able to do in a day. We went on a Sunday and it wasn’t busy. We were able to see a good amount of animals. Tickets were $18.00 an adult. All the feedings and tickets you can buy digitally throughout the park on kiosk. There’s also 2 kiosk at the food area which was nice if your using card, we were able to skip the line. Bathrooms were clean and found throughout the park. Free parking.

It was my first time going to the zoo and I enjoyed it so much. Getting to see the animals from Africa kinda made me reflect on the great history and contributions of Africa.

I loved the experience! The new updates to the Zoo was pretty amazing. The Red Panda Ridge is really cool even for the Bigger Kiddos. The options of food has also improved immensely! The option to bring a packed lunch is great for picky eaters. The rides were safe and reliable. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We made our way to the zoo this weekend for the first time in a very long time. Our kids are mostly all grown now with just one to go. The three of us had a grand time checking out the improvements to the zoo and enjoying the areas that make this zoo great. If you're not been to the Fort Wayne children's zoo, you need to make it a priority to get there.

We had a good day. Very family friendly! Landscaping was pretty. There was an employee talking about the animals with the kangaroos & giraffes. At this zoo you walk on paths that feel like trails (paved for the vast majority of the areas). It's not just one big open area. There are a couple good food places, a coffee shop, and a few snack stands and ice cream stands. Chicken fingers, fries, hot dog, and peanut butter and jelly were all good and as to be expected in this type of environment. There were a ton of bees around these eateries. Watch out so you don't get stung. We also rode the carousel, a train ride, and a "boat" ride. All were really fun! They also have a chair lift, but it was shut down while we were there.

Great place for kids! The layout is great compared to others. Food prices are decent and good options. Tons of shady spots all around the park to sit and relax in. Nice little water/stream feature for the kids to cool down in, also in the shade. Carousel only 3$ per rider, and if you're standing (not sitting) with your kid you are free. There's also a log ride and train also 3$ per rider and opening soon there is going to be a huge rope course. Lots of photo opportunities and animals to pet! The only thing I would change/add is the bee population is wild out there (early September when I visited) couldn't eat/sit without being flown at but it didn't effect our visit. And I wish there was an actual playground.

We enjoyed our visit to the Creation Museum. It is a very detailed museum with beautiful exhibits. However, I feel like this is just a one time visit attraction. I would not visit this museum multiple times. The animals were underwhelming, but that make have been due to cold, foggy weather on the day of our visit. The best part was the gardens and the Christmas lights. The lights are beautiful and so are the grounds, even in winter. I can’t imagine how beautiful the gardens must be in the spring and summer.

Loved this place. Very informative and well built. The garden in front of the museum was beautiful. The food and ice cream sold were also good. The museum itself was very informative and realistic. The planetarium and the 4D movie theater is definitely not to be missed. I recommend buying a combo ticket if you plan on visiting this place and the ark encounter which is about 45 minutes drive from here.

My visit to the Creation Museum in Kentucky was a truly enlightening experience that touched my heart and mind. As I explored the exhibits, I was deeply impressed by the thought and care put into each display, which seamlessly blended science, faith, and history. The museum's compelling presentations challenged my existing beliefs and encouraged me to think critically about the origins of life. It was a journey that left me with a profound sense of curiosity and wonder. The planetarium shows and the beautiful botanical gardens were personal highlights. They added a hands-on and immersive aspect to my visit, allowing me to engage with the museum's themes on a deeper level. 🌱🌌📖🤔

We enjoyed the museum and gardens. A lot more reading than I expected. I'm dyslexic so too much reading is overwhelming to me. In the exit survey I recommended they add an audio tour, possibly an app you can use to listen to what's in the exhibits. All of the staff was really friendly. We were there during the 40 days and nights of music and got to see a great band and a very funny Christian comedian.

This place is amazing!! From the very time you step foot on the property you know this place is special. The property is well maintained and very scenic. There is so much to see. Every exhibit is detailed and leaves no doubt that God created man. The 4D movie "6 days" was beyond words. You are right there during each day of God's creation. You feel the wind, the water, the breath of the animals, every part of his majesty. Words are not enough. We ate at the cafe' for lunch. They have a wide assortment of hot and cold items to choose from. As you navigate through each exhibit you will see such detail. We spent over 6 hours reading and watching and did not quite finish. The staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you Ken Ham for honoring God through this wonderful ministry.

The Creation Museum was fantastic we went to the light exhibit for Christmas and the museum. Parking was easy and close. Plenty of bathrooms. But the definitely have it all laid out really well. The 4D theatre on creation was good too. Great story. Each exhibit was well done. Jesus and the Cross exhibit was a bit of a let down. I was expecting way more... it was only photos on the wall... BUT... It was still impactful to read the texts. I recommend families go. Young Kids are free and we got our family of 8 in at 159 dollars. It was fun. Parking is 15 dollars or 10 at night.

Simply amazing! So much more than what I was expecting! The displays are truly world-class, and the exhibits blend science, history, anthropology, and so much more through the lens of scripture. The experience is absolutely faith-based, but unlike other museums, the Creation Museum is not afraid to present both sides of the story and empower individuals with information to make their own decisions. You can visit best museums in the nation (DC, NY, Chicago, etc) but this truly outshines them all! The live presentations and 4-D video experiences were one of my favorite parts. The botanical gardens, sculpture, zoo, planetarium, and other bonus attractions are also delightful!

This was a great experience for our entire family. It may be a little tougher with younger children only because there is a TON of reading exhibits. Don’t get me wrong, the information is definitely interesting and everything was presented with excellence. Definitely make sure to visit the planetarium and 4d theater. The animal exhibit was unimpressive but the grounds and overall experience was well worth the money.

The creation museum is an absolute must see especially if you are visiting the Ark encounter as well. There is so much to do inside and outside it kept everyone in our family entertained! We were also able to feed our family of five for $28 at the Noah Cafe. I was shocked because where can you feed your family of five for $28, especially being out? Wow. They also have souvenir cups for $19.99 each that have unlimited refills that you can use at the creech museum as well as the Ark encounter. My personal highlight was seeing the dinosaur that had original bones in its skeleton as well as the original skull still intact! Just cool to see something like that. Another highlight for us was the different speakers and activities that they have scheduled throughout the day. We bought the 3-day pass that went between the Ark encounter and the creation museum and every day you come they hand you a schedule of the events of the day which was nice! There's a beautiful botanical garden and lots of areas to walk as well as a small zoo and fun animals to see. We sat outside for awhile and watched people zip line across the property, also a fun thing to see! We bought the 3-day pass for the Ark encounter and Creation museum and ended up going to the creation museum one day and the Ark 2 days. Our kids are 8,6, and 3.5 and this is what they preferred and we were wanting to do that too. So much to see and do, you can easily plan to stay a whole day here.

It's interesting, but not very child friendly or interactive. There is a lot of reading, and the large summer crowds made it difficult. The Planetarium is $9 per movie, or 2 for $14. Line up early to not get stuck in the front and/separated from your group. The movies are short and just okay. The arboretum is beautiful, definitely worth the walk. The moving bridge is so much fun! My advice is to walk this early before it gets too hot. Overall, the museum was very educational and worth visiting!

This is my first visit to the Creation Museum, and I was very impressed with the quality of the exhibits, the friendliness of the staff, the availability of quality food and plentiful clean restrooms. Easy parking too. Some reviewers said you could get through in half a day, but this is not true. You really need to spend the entire day to take in the full experience. There’s so much to look at and a variety of events to attend throughout the day. This is a good family experience with a lot for kids as well. It was a very enjoyable experience and the botanical gardens are lovely. We visited the Creation Museum first, and the Ark Encounter the following day.

The Creation Museum was a wonderful experience. We did the Ark Encounter a few years ago, but did not have time on that trip to also do the Creation Museum so this summer we planned another drive north from Florida to Kentucky specifically for the Creation Museum. I particularly loved the way it explains dinosaurs and the age of the Earth. As well as the views of science from a Creationist standpoint versus and evolutionists view. Fearfully and Wonderfully made was a beautiful exhibit. A bit shorter than I expected, but very well done. I did have some explaining to do about what abortion is to my 9 year old son based on that exhibit. There were several areas of the museum closed off. We were expecting it to be a full day and we were finished with everything in about 4.5 hours. The price is high for adults, but admission for children was free. It’s a hard location to find- a lot of single lane backroads and not many signs. Thankfully the GPS routed us there alright. I give the Creation Museum a 5 star because of the content and how well it was done. I was more impressed with the Ark Encounter and would visit that area again.

We loved this museum more than we thought we would. Honestly we just went because it was joined to the Ark and we traveled so far. But we are sooo glad we came! It was fun, moving, educational and beautiful! Highly recommend! Spend all day there!

The family and I went here as part of our trip to The Ark Encounter. The Creation Museum is a sister attraction of The Ark Encounter. Not only can you learn about the creation of just about every living thing but they also have botanical gardens, a planetarium, petting zoo, shows, a couple of restaurants, gifts shops and more. We spent the whole day here. It was educational and fun.

An extension to the Ark Encounter. This place was phenomenal! So much to see and learn. I suggest visiting here before the Ark to get a better understanding for little ones or new to the experience. From the 4D show to Noah's Cafe, EVERYTHING was amazing. Staff was super friendly and helpful. 5 STARS!

Wonderful experience and much to learn and ponder about in regards to spirituality. Adults and children will both enjoy this experience. Make sure you have at least a half a day to explore the museum and it’s grounds and more if you want to ride the zip line and sit through all of the video attractions. Food for a single adult (entree, side and drink) will run about $20. Overall is a must see.

Had a wonderful time here. Just happened to visit on Fathers day and their special allowed free entry for Dad's plus kids 10 & under were free. There was so much interesting info to see and read about. Not so great w/an active 2yr old but we made due till the playground and animal expo. Easily spent about 5hrs (not including lunch) and had a great time.

Amazing educational fun filled weekend! Great way to teach your kids and grandkids about who God is and how great he is! A must see as a package with The Ark Museum. Because of the hrs it's best to this one last. Very informative and gives a perspective on his way and the world's way. Highly recommend

As a lifetime charter member, our family comes back often from Canada. The updates they've made over the past while are amazing, and the exhibits have in-depth detail. Give yourself a full day at the Creation Museum to take it all in, and another full day at the Ark Encounter. Plan to take in the live presentations too - there's a lot of great information that they present, and it is 100% relevant to today's culture.

Loved this place! The exhibits are top notch and very informative. We loved the planetarium and 4d theater shows too. Would love to go back again. It's a lot to go thru in one day. Hopefully they improve the zoo area, it was under renovations, because it was lacking. Their sister site's, The Ark Encounter, zoo was great. I highly recommend visiting both and learn the truth about God's Creation.

The Creation Museum is an amazing world class attraction! We went through the museum and stayed for the Christmas lights. I love the botanical gardens. Everything is designed to make you think about the things that matter. It is a must-see for believers but done in a way that will not offend non-believers.

Just came back from visiting the Creation Museum with my 4, 9, 11 year old kids along with my husband and mom and her husband. They have interesting exhibits that speak to all ages along with 4D movies about Creation. It was so cool to see creation so well animated and love how they always tie in God’s purpose and plan for us. They really drive home the Gospel message and Jesus sacrifice and love. My older kids were at good ages for this and really absorbed everything. It’s done at an intelligent level but not overly wordy so the kids can grasp it too. We came probably 15 years ago with no kids and they’ve added and improved so much. Sadly the petting zoo was closed, though, but it was too cold to venture outside anyway. Worth a visit! Prepare to believe!

This is our place we go when a kid finishes up kindergarten in our family I love seeing all of the exhibits my favorite one would probably be the fearfully and wonderfully made one it definitely can change people's perspective on that topic. I also think it's cool that when you walk into the building you immediately see Adam and eve the first humans. Definitely a place you should take your children . This place tells the biblical truth and compares and contrasts the biblical truth with the evolution. This place will change the way that you look at things for the better. You and your family should really check this place out today.

This museum is wonderfully done. The exhibits are exciting and plentiful. We spent 6 hours walking through. There are lots of shows to take in, some 4d some in the really cool planetarium. You won't be disappointed. I learned so much about God and God's creation.

Unique museum presenting the literal biblical timeline of the story of creation. Multiple detailed interpretive displays beginning with the creation of the universe and following the timeline of history from the biblical Christian perspective. The museum & grounds are generally open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. However, during the holiday season the Christmas Town event is open until 8:30 pm and includes an amazing Christmas light display throughout the gardens surrounding the museum. There are fire pits & snack vendors and limited access to the museum for warming up. A planetarium is available for two different shows at a nominal extra fee. Two additional auditoriums have shows & videos as part of museum admission. Two indoor food vendors and a coffee/ice cream cafe all inside the main museum. There is also a coffee shop inside the welcome center. I would like you to return during growing season, as I can imagine that the botanical garden is quite spectacular in Spring. Parking is convenient to welcome center, so no shuttle needed. Petting zoo is undergoing major construction, so exhibits are limited. Plenty of restrooms throughout.

Love it here! Our kids enjoyed looking at everything and really enjoyed the Christmas lights walk. Spur of the moment decision to come and we are glad we did. We haven't been in almost 10 years. They've updated a lot of things and they've made things easy to walk through. Most things are accessible and signs are played where it's not. Note: steep prices!

The creation museum is a wonderful display of creationist thinking rooted in a biblical worldview. I interacted with a number of people who love God and were so kind that worked there. There were several exhibits that demonstrated with evidence and clarity the biblical worldview of creationism. I hope that more people can come and visit. There was an exhibit all about life and the fact that we as humans are fearfully and wonderfully made. It was colorful and beautifully designed.

This was amazing! I'm so thankful that we were finally able to see this! Very well done, so lifelike! This was well researched and very informative. They answered any question you could think of about the Ark, the animals, what it must have been like, and how could it all have been done. We also saw the virtual encounter that took us back in time to the Ark & the flood! We loved it all! We bought a ticket bundle with the creation museum and saved a little bit. We went to creation museum the day before, then a full day at the ark.

This place was awesome. It just shows how great our God is. Loved the short films that are played on each floor. Must see from bottom to top. Perfect message of truth and hope. I was in awe. The greatness of our fathers love, and mercy and then wrath. What a blessing to have been able to see this. I highly recommend this and the Creation museum package. Go here on the 1st day then the creation on the 2nd. Bring your children and grandchildren and teach them the importance of Noah's Ark. Plant the seed in their hearts that when the Lord is with them, they can do ALL things through Christ whom strengthens them. And if he is for you, can't NOTHING be against them! 🙏🏻💖🙌✝️ A great message and memory to give your children/grandchildren!!

Definitely a trip worth making! Awesome educational exhibit. Amazing visuals arts! Beautiful facility! Clean and well maintained though out! Just gotta find the best days where it’s not as crowded. It can get pretty cramped and tight in some areas.

This experience will forever be a family favorite! We loved getting to see just how big and how amazing the Ark probably was. It genuinely had me thinking about things I've never really considered before. Thank you so much for this recreation of one of the most well known stories of the bible.

It's remarkable that someone built this with modern tools let alone in Noah's Day. Lots of information on each floor. Go prepared to read. Also, there is a lot of walking. They have added things outside. The zoo is great for kids.

It is huge. Built to the specs in the Bible. 4 stories tall but you only see the bottom 3 floors. Easy accessibility as you climb ramps to each floor. You can spend 1 entire day here if you read and watch everything. So much to read and see. We spent 2 hours and quickly went through it all. Kids actually did get bored in the boat but it was very interesting to see everything and seeing how huge the inside boat is. The restaurant on site was good and actually cheap for a buffet at a place like this so I'm glad they're not charging overpriced food prices. Definitely worth a stop even if you don't want to be there all day. Our kids (9) were free as well so it was fine if they did get bored. They did enjoy the small zoo on site though. There weren't very many animals but that's ok.

Great experience and great for family. To see a life size of the biblical account of Noah’s Ark. You don’t realize the scale until you actually face it. The inside display is beautiful and awesome. The work that they had to do, had to be enormously hard but with help of God it was accomplished. We have cranes but they had ways to build which is mind blowing to figure how. Definitely recommend going on a visit. We also plan to see the other museum.

First time visiting the ark and it was AMAZING!!! What a great experience. Very biblical oriented and You're immediately overtaken in awe and admiration of the ark. It was bigger than I thought!!! Gives you a whole different view about how catastrophic the flood was and how much work it took not only to build but to maintain the animals and carry the food. It answers a lot of questions and gives you perspective on possible ways things got done. You walk a lot and it has 3 or 4 levels that gradually go all the way up, there's elevators too and chair you can rent for handicapped people and also strollers for toddlers, please wear comfortable shoes. It takes around 4 to 5 hours seeing everything at a moderate pace The ark gets really packed so try getting there early. We purchased tickets in advance and drove 6 hours but it was well worth it!! I highly recommend the buffet on site and also the 3D experience and petting zoo for children. Lots of souvenirs at the end. I recommend the beverage bottle with unlimited refills as well! We got the ark encounter tickets along with the creation museum and it saved us some money!

Out of timeline experience! Hearing about Noah and the Ark growing up in church is one thing, but to see how massive it really was in person is another! Every member of the staff was exceptionally nice! The zoo was awesome. The buffet was one of the best I've ever had. Listened to and met True Song, the Ark Encounters own Christian group. They were phenomenal! Overall, 20 out of 10 on everything! Try to go on normal days if you don't like crowds. Holiday weeks are slammed. But that's to be expected with something so awesome like this! Can't wait to come back!

Fun and educational for anyone, bring the entire family. The inside displays about the biblical account of the flood, Noah’s family and God’s redemptive plan are creative, interesting, and awe-inspiring. The outdoor zoo was beautifully kept with garden areas to eat or rest. Many interesting programs throughout the day, some live and some multi-media. Easy to enter and exit the attraction and accessible for all. Plenty of reasonable food options, too. $15 car parking fee at the entrance.

This place was amazing and well worth the visit! I loved every moment of the tour. It’s was so cool to imagine what it would of been like to be on the actual ark! The wallaby petting exhibit was a first and fun experience. A worker takes you picture for you for free at the door with the cross. I tried to slip her a 50 but she would not accept it. I donated it to ark. It was that cool.

You must see this place! Pictures don't do justice (though they're helpful). Great experience. Everything was done very well, and I love the attention to detail in every part. It is very well thought out and gradually tells the Bibles story as you go through the Ark. There is plenty of seating to take rests. There are plenty of drink stations and bathrooms. Wasn't too crowded. The books at the gift shop are great. The visual graphics were amazing (kudos to the artist(s)). God food options on-site (a little pricey but worth it).

This was so awesome. It is such a cool thing to see. It wasn't too crowded. Lots of cool information. It does take time and patience to get through everything. There is stuff for all ages. So much fun to go to the zoo and interact with the kangaroos.

The Ark Encounter is a great and wonderful place! My family and I went to this after spending the day before at the creation museum. We didn't think it could get much cooler but it definitely can! This by far was our favorite attraction between the two, It is so huge and inside. It has various museum exhibits as well as a clear display of what the arc could have looked like inside, and how it might have worked. There are bathrooms on every floor. It is about four floors, with the first floor just being the line to get into the building. We went on a very rainy day and there were not a lot of people there which was really good for us. But I saw some of the line cues and it looks like it could get very very long during a hot summer day, as we went in January.

My entire family loved the experience. Very informative and realistic scenes. So real inside that my youngest daughter (4 years old) thought the animals were real. She also asked to go back through it when we were done. We got there at 10:15 and left at 6:20. That was with us going pretty fast through the 3rd floor and about an hour in the restaurant

Nice experience. You have to read a lot to help understand. A nice concept is that they show the biblical and secular versions of the story. There are plans for a 600-seat restaurant on the top deck. That will be awesome. Also, there are several zip lines. Unfortunately, the weather kept us from riding.

Amazing re-creation of Noah’s Ark, built the same size as the Ark from the Bible’s specifications. We spent nearly all day there — we were happy to find bathrooms on every level, snack shops, gift shops, and places to sit and rest. The Zoo was fantastic too! The whole family will enjoy this very well done exhibit and world-renowned attraction. The restaurant was good too, buffet style so something for everyone.

What an awesome experience! Great for all ages. My 2.5 year old loved it, my husband and I loved it, and my parents loved it. Really puts it in perspective from your childhood thought process of a big boat. The ark held all the animals! This ark encounter sure gave you a real life feel for what is believed to be as accurate as possible. Play areas for kids. A zoo connected to it with some interesting animals! Allow the entire day for fun....we had to cut ourselves short unfortunately. We will definitely be back! They offer stroller rental. Only $10!!!! Worth it, especially without the hassle of bringing your own.

A fun and educational experience for the whole family! It is neat to think about the intricacies and architecture of the ark itself, not something you consider every time you read the story of Noah’s ark. Thought the video clips did a great job building the story and sharing the gospel throughout the exhibit. Loved the details and appreciated the lists of potential animal groupings, how water and food were dispensed, and where/how Noah’s family lived. Lots of history through a biblical worldview.

Wow! My wife, her Aunt, and I had an absolute blast exploring the Ark Encounter in Kentucky! Let me tell you, this place is nothing short of awe-inspiring! The family and I went to see the Ark experience today. It was an awesome experience for everyone. The exhibits were done really well, and there were a lot of visuals to keep the boys entertained. We were all blown away with how tall the Ark was. There is also a zoo on site, which was done really well. There is also a buffet at the park which was a great value, the food was really food. We stopped at the playground for an hour or so before leaving. Great activity to do with a family of all ages!

We drove from West Palm Beach , Florida to Kentucky to see this! What an amazing experience we had. I loved the exhibits inside the ark about the facts about the flood, ark, animals and Noah . There was a lot to see. I really enjoyed it. They have gift shops inside and outside the ark. My family loved the outside zoo as well !

This is a once and lifetime experience, and so much to do, but the best part is to learn about God and the great flood and how the Earth is the way it is today! It's 3 floors of an experience you will never forget! And as always friends see you next time!

Drove from Texas and I highly recommend this place. It takes you there in the physical. Gives you wisdom and provides answers to so many questions. The staff is amazing! They truly are in the mindset that they work for GOD and not man. That is rare to see. The food at the buffet was good and that place was well run. We went in late Nov so the crowds weren't as big. Also something I didn't check in advance. They are closed on Sunday so the 3 day pass was important when coupled with the Creation museum. Please try the virtual encounter. It's worth the money. Very cool and we are glad we had the experience.

It was my first time visiting, and I finally saw everything for myself after hearing from others, and it was amazing. There are plenty of things for children to do also. Just know that you will get your steps in while enjoying the experience. When you're in Kentucky, stop by The Ark Encounter BTW, the Hampton Inn is located right next to the venue. Such an AMAZING experience!!! We flew all the way from TEXAS to see this magnificent ark. We learned so much and EVERYONE was super friendly. The Ararat Ridge Zoo was the perfect animal touch to such an important part of the story. The only negative thing I would say is because the experience is a little pricey the picture should be included with your purchase or NOT as high. $30 for a memorable moment is definitely a little too high. I did purchase several gift shop items so it wasn’t that I was being cheap but it’s pricey for a regular photo.

Really amazing place! It's difficult to describe the shear size of the ark. Even from a distance, it is massive. Once inside, it almost doesn't feel real. The craftsmanship of the timbers, the exhibits and the time that went into making them, the staff...its all a great experience. Outside, the food is great, the VR experience is a blast, and the petting zoo is a great time. The historical and biblical accuracy, along with unknown facts, insights, and research really makes this an experience both educational and fun. It can easily take all day, depending on how much you enjoy reading about each exhibit. Highly recommend.

It is a bit on the expensive side. They didn't want to honor their "senior" discount, even when presented with a government ID without asking. Parts of it are more "preachy" and off subject. For example, why waste space with car crashes when the space could be used with on subject material. It was raining so we couldn't see the zoo, seems like they should do something to cover that area considering the percentage of bad weather days in that area. The real arc wouldn't have had open spaces and probably not the giant ramp. Certainly not something young children would understand. They should make some changes to the parking and shuttle system. If it is raining, getting to the shuttle is a bad situation and since you are already walking a lot, does the parking really need to be another hike? Lighting isn't good for taking pictures due to reflective surfaces and long distances in unlit areas. Lots of up selling going on just about everywhere. A bottle of water is $4 and they don't allow you to bring your own, that isn't good for people with health issues. It is a really nice place to visit, it just needs some re-thinking.

We just wanted to checkout the “Ark” to appreciate the magnitude of this thing - and it did not disappoint. We are Bible readers and we study the Bible, so we know a lot of the sights within the Ark are artists rendering or interpretation of what things “may have looked like” but we didn’t get caught up in all of that…just appreciated seeing the size of this thing and it was interesting to see how the builders interpreted ways Noah and his family created ventilation, stored water according to shelf life, grew their own gardens/vegetables.etc. Lots of things to buy along the way (snacks and gifts) many restrooms, elevators and they rent wheelchairs too. I saw that they have some zip lines and there is a small zoo you can walk through there as well.

We visited the Ark encounter with our family over spring break and had a great time. It was so educational to see how the art could possibly have been built how the animals could possibly have survived Noah in his family was so integrate in all of it. By the way, I never thought about dinosaurs being on the ark.

Great experience, lots to look at. If you're going, plan a whole day to be there. Thay have some good movies playing through out the day in the Answers building. I love the message behind the Ark experience. Someday God will judge the world again. A good reality check on where your heart is.

Amazing experience. Was very interesting, and unlike other museums that get boring from all the reading, they broke up reading with videos, exhibits, and other styles of reading, for example, comic strips that kept my interest. There was so much to do that definitely needs at least 4 hours, but I'd recommend it all day. There is a bus/shuttle that takes you from ticket stand to the Ark. They have a small zoo and an aerial/zip line course for kids and a virtual reality station. I only did the zoo, which was small but free. Will definitely come back with more family next time. I bought a parking pass online, which got me through quicker, but you can purchase at gate as well.

Amazing place highly recommended!!! My wife and I spent 7 hours and we are planning to go back as it was very informative and enjoyable. What a wonderful place thank you for creating this experience for all of us to share.

First we were most thankful that the gospel was clearly presented in multiple ways throughout the exhibit. Second, we were impressed by the sheer size of the ark. There was a lot of helpful information given not just about the arc, but about the beginning and events leading up to the flood. There is a note about artistic license, yet I did not see a note about the amount of study done before the beginning of construction. I’m glad I’m not the only one that noticed this; some else noted, there seemed to be a lot of commercialism reminiscent of a theme park like Canada Wonderland. There are two massive parking lots, which are served by a number of buses taking you to and from the main entrance. Then there is a labyrinth or maze of rails, like the rides at theme parks, twisting and winding around for those very busy days that they must have to get to the first ramp up to the first level. I think we were fortunate to be there on the school day however, there were a number of school groups or camp groups there making it difficult to enjoy the displays and take good pictures. It is most busy in the mornings, so I recommend going in the afternoon around lunchtime until closing. The buffet food was very excellent. Well cooked. Great variety. Well kept. For me, however, it would be nice to have more chocolate desserts! 🤣 We would be interested in returning to bring struggling, friends and unbelievers as we feel it might help them To see the reality of such an event.

Wanted to share more: Super fun!! My dad was ecstatic and in amazement. We couldn't go to all of the areas like the buffet or zoo, since we were short on time, maybe next time! Regardless great place to go with everyone of all ages.

Really fun Casino. You could walk around there for hours just checking out all the musicians memorabilia. So cool being able to see everything so close. Had a few cocktails at the bar as well as some food. The bartender was very nice and made great suggestions for my meal. Just when I thought it couldn’t get better a fantastic local band took the stage and put on a heck of a show!

We started coming here about 2 months ago and their promotions are amazing. I've had $15 a free slot machine money to play on once a week for the last 2 months and then for March is promotion I get $10 off at any food then you there each week.

Lots of cool rock memorabilia all over the casino. I saw lots of compliments about the layout of the casino, but I thought it was good. I had fun playing blackjack. Staff is friendly and professional. Very bright and clean inside. Traffic in Cincinnati is terrible. It was worth visiting this place.

Let me start by saying I am not a gambler. I am a Hard Rock collector who was taking a close family member out for a nice dinner for his birthday. I did not gamble, so I have nothing to contribute about the gaming. The restaurants and Rock Shop are all on the same level as the casino. There are plenty of very nice restrooms which are kept clean. Plenty of free parking in attached parking garage with elevators. There seemed to be good security. There are several food venues and bars: a classic Hard Rock Cafe, coffee shop, pizza venue, Asian restaurant, and our destination the Council Oak Steak & Seafood. My only disappointment was the relative lack of rock memorabilia. I’ve seen small Hard Rock Cafes with much more memorabilia than this large complex.

We visited for the first time since they changed over to Hard Rock on NYE. Great restyle. The floorplan is much more logical. Wonderful selection of new eating choices. Easily twice as many than when it was Jack"s. The employees were all very friendly and eager to assist in any needs that arose. Memorabilia collection is very interesting as well.

My workplace attended a job fair and we had a wonderful experience here. The staff were kind and welcoming, and I loved the displays throughout the entire casino! Restrooms were clean and the employees were quick to assist if we needed anything at all. The food was great!

My first time here and at a casino in general and I had the BEST experience!!! The staff is very very friendly and they show you where everything is located. Food was amazing and I ended up coming home with a good amount of cash!!! Will most CERTAINLY be coming back regardless of me being 2 hours away🤪🎰

We went to the Hard Rock to see the legendary Beach Boys perform. The show was absolutely amazing! I was impressed with the venue space and surrounding areas! Everything was kept neat and cleaned up. Parking is your choice of valet or you can park free in the parking garage! Û

Great casino! Friendly staff. Loose slots. Nice and smooth dealers at every table. No mistakes, professional pit bosses and hosts. Great food choices. A central bar for quick and easy drinks if you can get away from the tables or don’t utilize the gorgeous and very nice individuals catering to you there. All around a great place to enjoy some fun and possibly hit a nice chunk. If you dont hit it big the pleasant atmosphere and experience helps eliminate your pain significantly if not completely.

Had fun. First time players get a $10 play credit plus $5 food credit. I turned my free play into $45. Sports betting too! Huge poker room. Not smokey. Good casino.

Thought we were going to have a little fun this morning but upon entering the casino one of us had a soda with us and was told we couldn't bring a drink in with us. It's not something that would usually bother us but you can never find anyone who will offer you a drink. Hard Rock unlike the other casinos in the area where you can get your own drink at no charge, wants to charge for drinks while most people are already spending quite a bit of money playing their games.

As food as variety of games its a nice place and the staff is pretty good but as far as the promotional department they're the worse at rating your play and giving you anything. I go there a few times a week and get nothing and went to Horseshoe close to Indianapolis one time and comped me food then sent me several free trips out of town offers plus $300 food/merchandise comp and $675 free bet money. Sure wish Hard Rock would do one tenth of that but doubt it after years of playing there!

Had a great evening here. Saw it on a drive last year when i was in America but had no time.to visit then. So was looking forward to this year and hadtime planned for it. The fact that the hard rock store sells the discarded used dice for only 50 cents its just super bonus. This girl is gonna rock some hard rock casino dice earrings soon!

Just a mediocre experience. In this new age of casinos in all local areas of the US, setting yourself apart is not hard. Hard Rock Cincinnati had a terrible selection of table games and electronic table games. $5 blackjack with a required $5 side bet is the worst offender. Not to mention all of your tables under $25 were 6:5, shame on you. Craps tables started at $15, which is fine, but your dealers made the experience mediocre. They just did not provide a good customer experience and seemed disinterested in the customers. Electronic table games were $10 minimums, both craps and blackjack (also 6:5...). And video poker pay tables were quite abysmal. Overall, Hard Rock Cincinnati is just another overpriced casino, offering a mediocre selection of games. I can easily drive to Hollywood, not even a 30 minute drive, to receive better games, rules, minimums, and customer service. In fact, that's exactly what we did. One last thing, I matched from Caesar's rewards diamond plus to third highest tier in the unity program. Your tier match program should make me excited or even interested to play in your network... I got $10 slot play and I truly didn't see any benefit for having a higher tier in your program. So I have zero reason to ever return to Hard Rock Cincinnati. As an avid casino goer, it's so easy to find a better experience at your competitors. Do bettor.

The slots are terrible! You play max and your return is very minimal! Been to this casino 4 times,is a nice location,nice decorate, but the gambling is if you might as well just give them a donation! Playing from one end to the other only to get the same results! Won't be back! I go to Derby City and Belterra and always seem to come out better than going in! So I will stay away from this place! Not once did I see or hear a JACKPOT scream !

Was here on 4/26/24 for Trace Adkins concert in the ballroom upstairs. Love this place. The casino was not terribly busy when we got there about 6:00 p.m. The ballroom was very easy to find. The staff is very courteous and helped us out and the place was very clean. Parking was very easy to figure out and where to go and leaving wasn't terribly bad from the parking garagre.

My husband and I visited for the 1st time in 2+ years to celebrate his birthday. We stayed at the $15 minimum bet Black Jack table most of the evening. We had 2 different dealers. One was Elijah. Elijah was SUPER good! He was everything a patron would want in a dealer; enthusiastic, interactive, helpful, funny.... Then we had Jeffrey. Jeff was complete and total opposite of Elijah. Jeff unfortunately didn't have an ounce of fun personality, wasn't engaging, and in fact would roll his eyes or make a very noticeable sigh when a player would make a move he personally wouldn't have done or didn't agree with. I am not sure what Jeff is going through personally, and I'm always about giving grace. I hope it was just a bad night for him? -But, If Jeff really doesn't like his job at all, he should look for a role not in direct customer service/engagement. Outside of the Black Jack experience, the couple slots we played were fun and we had good pay-outs. The drink prices, SHEESH, this place taxxxes. Stadium big event prices for alcohol. We would go back again to this location, but wouldn't drink next time, and would steer clear of Jeff. 4/5 🌟 🎰

I was never a big gambler. I thought that it was all a bunch of hoopla. I definitely feel differently after today I went with my friend and I won a jackpot. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting in the Cincinnati area. There is a little something for everyone. One of my favorite parts was the memorabilia on display left from bands visiting the city. Legendary artists from decades ago. We went to the bar and ordered Long Island iced teas. Shout out to the bartender for making such a delicious drink! The service was excellent and they weren’t very crowded as it was during the day. I had a really great time and I was on my last spin when I hit the jackpot! It really made for a great day! I would check it out if you’re in the area, even if you’re not a gambler. Definitely going back!

Great zoo! We were surprised to find that it was so easy to spend the entire day here, from open to close. It was disappointing that so many animals were off display due to construction, the weather, or bird flu concerns. But even despite that, there was so much to see & experience here. The hippo display is unsurprisingly very busy, but we still got to stay a while & see the new baby. Absolutely worth it. The overall atmosphere was really nice too. I love how much bamboo they have growing all over - and they've starting hanging string lights from everything. So many pathways felt like their own little road, distanced from the rest of the park - when in fact they're barely separated. I appreciate how easy it is to buy tickets & parking from your phone. When we arrived there was a long line to purchase tickets, but I was able to buy them on my phone in less than a few minutes & get right in!

One of the best zoo I’ve been so far, I follow this zoo in social media but it was my first time going. We too our infant and spent the whole day from opening to close and didn’t manage to visit all exhibits. Their nursing rooms were clean and cool during a hot day. The nursing room made our trip to this zoo worth it. Went during Father’s Day and they had a special event going on. Overall, amazing zoo and would definitely consider getting their membership.

This is hands down the best zoo I have ever been to! All the animals look so happy and healthy! We purchased tickets online ahead of time and didn't have a wait at all. Parking was 10 dollars, super easy, and you can pay on your phone or have the people assist you on the way out with a card. We can't wait until our next trip here! If you plan to come to Cincinnati I highly recommend trying to plan a day for the zoo!

Cincinnati Zoo & the Festival of Lights. What else can I say but absolutely amazing & beautiful. Just check out the photos, although they do no justice really compared to being there in person. Went on a Sunday evening. Crowds were decent sized yet not so bad that it wasn’t fun. Still able to get good views of everything with just a little bit of patience. Can’t complain about the parking either. Pretty much got in and out with no problem. I definitely recommend checking it out if you have the chance!

The zoo was amazing! There were so many animals and so many cool things along the way. They had a reptile room, and they even had a kid park and everything! The food there was great as well!

Went while the tulips were in bloom. They were so pretty. All of the zoo parking lots were full, so we had to find street parking, but they are in the process of building more parking lots covered by solar panels to both shade the vehicles and supply green energy to the park. It was quite busy, but that's generally to be expected from a nice sunny afternoon in spring with the longer winter we've had. We didn't even try to get on the train around the park because the line was so long. Looking forward to the warmer weather when there are more animals outside and more of the shows are happening.

We decided to take a family trip to visit Fiona that my wife and daughter have been following on social media. This zoo was so clean and well taken care of. The staff was polite and courteous and the animals looked so happy in their well maintained enclosures. Well worth the trip!

I've been to a lot of zoos around the world and I can safely say that this is one of the best I've been to. The diversity of animals and the overall layout of the zoo is excellent. You could easily spend an entire day here, especially if you check out some of their shows. They also have animals here that I've never seen at other zoos before, such as the African wild dogs which were fun to watch. I would recommend getting here as soon as they open, as the parking lot gets busy and fills up quickly.

This is a pretty great zoo. It seemed to have all of the important animals although we never found the bears and really only found one entertaining monkey display. There is shade everywhere. There are lots of pretty good food options. Beware - it's a fairly hilly zoo. If you cover the whole thing you'll certainly get your exercise for the day. There is at least one fantastic playground that all of the younger kids really enjoy. I really liked the kangaroo area. It felt like being in their habitat with them.

Visiting from Chicago and have to say I love this zoo! It’s small, but mighty. And makes you feel like you’re on an adventure to find the other animals. Highly recommend the train. As you get to see and overview of a bunch of the exhibits. Then you can’t forget about Fiona the hippo.

Always love going to the zoo. Everything was clean. The animals were out. Seems like they have done a lot of upgrades, and all the animals have more enrichment items. The line was short on the day we went, so my 3 girls got to feed the giraffes. $4 for 2 pieces of lettuce.

Early access pretty much guarantees front parking too. Check on the website the months early access is available (March to Oct I think). - Great map design. We’ve visited during all seasons. Keep it up Zoo team!

We absolutely LOVE the Festival of Lights at the Zoo. This is the third year in a row, we have gone the night before Thanksgiving. We usually get there about 430 and don’t have any problems parking or getting in to the zoo. It’s definitely my favorite place to see Christmas lights in the Cincinnati area.

We really enjoyed this zoo! The gift shop items were so cute. The exhibits were nice and the animals were happy. We went early on a Sunday before the Holiday light festivities during the first week of December. It wasn't busy most of the day and the weather was good enough for the animals to be out and active. Good signage, and wasn't too much trouble to navigate. Definitely a lot of walking. Food was good. Truly had a great time visiting with my husband and Mom!

What a great zoo quite literally in the middle of the city! It is fun awesome place to go with family & friend's. It's affordable and you can see different types of Animals by walking or they also have train rides. Not only animals they also have a gift shop and different restaurant's.They have festival of lights there every year and it's beautiful. Staff and Crew is nice and respect you, and your family and friends. The membership is nice and affordable too. If you have food stamps the standard fee is $50 just bring your food stamps card and ID. I forget about the other membership prices is easy price's. Mainly The grounds are clean and there are plenty of trees. The landscaping is lush and it's just a great place to walk around and snap some great pictures. There is such a large variety of animals here and the enclosures are beautiful. I don't think there was a single animal that wasn't out. There is so much to see here so bring your walking shoes.

Well maintained, lots of different animals to see, well laid out park, restaurants in the park to get something to eat and I plan on returning. Love it. Parking is a mess. Do not take the last turn google suggests. You'll end up on a dead end street. Google takes you to the exit end of a Parking lot to the zoo. There isn't an entrance there. You will be within eye sight of the park/ zoo. There are Parking lots located in the area you can park in. Expect to pay 10 dollars for Parking.

Really this zoo has come along way. All the upgrades new exhibits and overall attention to detail for the animals. I appreciate the botanical landscaping, the worldly facades on the exhibits and educational opportunities. Staff was great and friendly. I recommend being a member, food and item prices are outrageous (ex 35 bucks for a pizza) but you get a discount if your a member. Parking is reasonably priced I suppose. I was disappointed in several attractions being closed however. Advertising what's coming in spring made me excited, but i still wanted to see those specific animals. I think if attractions are closed, my tickets should be discounted. I'd love to see the zoo expand, more big cats and exotic animals, Pandas ect. Larger exhibits and mire interactions with the animals. Overall however it was a beautiful day and great fun with the family. Can't really complain.

This place is AMAZING!! Literally so many animals will have to come back to see them all! The cool way they all put the animals of prey in a neat walk through exhibit, to the awesome train ride that takes you through the whole park, and the beautiful flamingo family with a new baby bird! Just really awesome- my favorite was personally the feeding of the apes! There is a cool little cave area that lets you feel like you’re WITH these huge animals! Highly recommend this zoo to any family! Don’t forget your dip n dots & fun stuffed zoo animal souvenir!

Our family had the opportunity to explore the Cincinnati Zoo recently, and let me tell you, it was an experience we won’t forget! Unlike any other zoo we’ve visited, Cincinnati Zoo stands out for its sheer beauty. The landscaping is a visual feast, with lush greenery and artistic design elements around every corner. The architecture of the exhibits is an experience in itself; it blends so well with the natural scenery that you often forget you’re in a zoo. It felt more like a wildlife haven, designed with the animals and visitors in mind. As parents, the highlight was seeing the joy on our two boys’ faces. The one-of-a-kind experiences with kangaroos and penguins were jaw-droppingly excellent. Not every day do you get to be so close and personal with these amazing animals! Staff members were equally remarkable, offering insightful information while caring deeply for the well-being of the residents of this unique sanctuary. Bottom line: If you’re anywhere near Cincinnati, don’t sleep on the chance to visit this exceptional zoo. It’s a feast for the eyes, educational for the mind, and joyous for the heart—truly a place that offers something special for everyone.

We loved our first visit! Beautifully kept grounds and property. The animals are the stars! They showed off! Super friendly and informative staff members throughout the park and exhibits. Growing up with this as my childhood Zoo really set me up with high expectations for what a zoo should bring. I am so glad to see that they have only enhanced for the betterment of the animals and guest experience. We came in town for the holidays and got to see the Festival of Lights which brought such nostalgia. It was very busy but well managed and a good variety of animals were out and about. This is a must see if you are in Cincinnati.

My family & I love the zoo. We go several times a year. There is plenty of parking. I do recommend getting tickets in advance, at times the line can be quite long, especially during Festival of Lights & kids spring breaks. During lunch times there can be long lines for food, so plan accordingly. You can bring your own water & food. There are plenty of tables to sit at, some inside & some outside. They do not force the animals to be outside, so when you visit some may or may not been seen. They are currently working on expanding some areas so there is construction.

This was such an amazing zoo. I loved the layout and that it was right in the middle of the City. Definitely checked out Fiona and the Hippos exhibit. The Manatees were awesome and that bubble viewing window was super cool. It wasn’t a long walk but there was a good flow to the zoo and was incredibly clean. Tons of workers all over the place to answer questions. We went when the tulips were in bloom during spring (so it was a tad chilly) but we would gladly make the day trip back again to check it out during the summer time.

I visited the zoo with my family on spring break. Honestly it was cold and wet when we went and I’ll admit that I haven’t been to a lot of zoos lately. But I wish we would have known what exhibits were going to closed and that most of the snack shops would be closed. It would have made our decision to go or not much easier. I will say that we enjoyed seeing the exhibits and animals that were open and out and about. If I’m ever in Cincinnati again with my family and it’s warm weather we will definitely go back. I think our favorite was Fiona, the hippo it was fun, watching her and the other hippos playing.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden! Though be aware there was a good bit of construction and closed exhibits (common during this off-season; we visited march 3rd), there was still a full day of exhibits, exploring, and adventure. The staff that we interacted with were all very nice, and I think the animals are well taken care of here. Everything looked well maintained and tidy throughout the day. The gift shop is decent. The food is good but obviously more pricey than food outside of the zoo. I definitely plan on returning during a different season when I can see the Insect House, Kangaroos, and a few other things. Overall, it's worth a visit or two!

This is such an awesome place to visit solo, with the family or on a date. The botanical garden part with all the colorful flowers was amazing. The best part of the zoo for me was the hippos. All the kids and adults knew all the hippos' names. I also like how you can walk inside the kangaroo section. I took a photo of every flower they had. I definitely want to do the train ride next visit. You will find every animal at the Cincinnati Zoo. Give yourself like 4 hours or so to visit each animal area. Wear a sunvisor or hat and some sunglasses. Don't forget to check out the gift shop.

We had a great time as a family! We got to see many different animals, and they were closer than other zoos. The place was clean, the layout allows you to complete the visit in about 3 hours, and today they had free Easter candy !! We also loved the tulips in bloom!

This is a beautiful place to visit with tons of the blooming tulips. I came for the hippos but enjoyed the rest of the park as well. It was fun getting to touch a snake. I preferred to walk but it was good that there is a little train for those with limited mobility.

It was just a beautiful day 4/7/24 the park was completely full but what do you expect after a long winter?!? And the last day of spring break. The park is kept clean and easy to follow. Only 4 stars because the bathroom(s) multiple were absolutely filthy

Went for Winter Fest 2022. Great experience for all ages. Amazing Christmas lights display, most of the little kids rides open, and about a dozen or so rides open for kids of all ages. There was various themed musical performance happening at almost every turn. Hot cocoa stands everywhere. They turn the fountain area into an ice skating rink ($). Lots of places to eat, and step inside to get warm. All handicap accessible.

It's a simply better version of Cedar Point. Way more relaxed. The wait times are shorter, and the rides seem to be working 90% of the time. I will say, get the dining pass. The food is extra fantastic here. The BBQ place is excellent. On the same token, the drink pass is a great idea as well and a good value. You don't have to go far to find either a drink refill station or a eatery. For parents with young kids, I will say this has a much better kids area than Cedar Point. Also, restroom cleanliness is pretty good for an amusement park, and the restrooms seem distributed better than other places.

One of the best amusement parks in the country! Great rides and entertainment! 15 roller coasters in total! Planet Snoopy kids area is ranked among the top in the country every year. A lot of variety when it comes to eating including restaurants and food stands. Great shopping is also offered for all your souvenirs! Park is extremely clean! The staff is wonderful and will answer any and all of your questions! Plenty of parking in the massive parking lot. Definitely a must visit if you love rides and attractions! You will not be disappointed and have a blast!

First time at King’s Island! There was always an allure to the park when I would drive past it on 71. I got to go during the Christmas Lights, so a couple rides were open but most of the big ones were shut down. Still a great time! Did bumper cars, ate some carnival food, rode the alien ride, got some great photos. A great day full of great memories. My heart will always be with Cedar Point (my first love) but I’m excited to come back to King’s Island in the summer.

I love Kings Island. This park has always been fun, but, over the last fifteen years or so, it has been transformed into a first class place. So many great coasters, including some, like Orion, Diamondback, Mystic Timbers, and Banshee, that are the best anywhere, along with classics like The Beast and The Racer, and a ton of smaller yet still fun rides, like The Bat, one of the last Arrow swinging coasters, and the Arrow mine train, Adventure Express. Combine this great coaster collection with an impressive selection of flat rides, excellent staff and operations, exclusive merchandise, local food, top notch cleanliness, a great kids area, and so many fun celebrations like Haunt and Winterfest, and you have a park that's easy to get to and easy to spend the whole day. Go there, run back to Orion for your first ride of the day (and jump back on if you can) and leave time for the train and the antique cars and a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Plus save room for blue ice cream!

Love this amusement park- both the roller coasters and Soak city. We enjoyed the rides in the morning, then Skyline chili for lunch, and went to the water park in the afternoon. Wonderful variety of tubes, body slides, two wave pools, plenty of lounge chairs too. We went in a Fri and the lines were manageable- long for some rides, not too long for others. The Beast does not disappoint! My husband and I rode the Racer back in 1998 when it went backwards, but it no longer does, so we rode it again for old times sake, still fun ride! We enjoyed the fireworks at 10pm, and had Graeters ice cream to end the night. Terrific day!

Kings Island was extremely fun! Definitely come earlier in the day to make your moneys worth because it can get pretty expensive. I loved all the rides I went on. Diamondback and Orion had huge drops that had me holding on for dear life and personally, the scariest ones for me were Flight over Fear and the Banshee. Food options over at Kings Island were also good and there was a good amount of scary and fun rides. If you want a relaxing but also thrilling ride, I definitely recommend Whitewater Canyon, it was personally one of my favorites.

This is a really nice amusement park! We have the annual gold season pass which is great. We also booked the food and drink pass which pays off by them self if you life nearby. The roller coaster 🎢 are a lot of fun and fits from young until old 😀 The water park is also great, you’re able to spend hours 😀😀 Food: don’t expect a high class restaurant… but some of them are really good compared with the amount of food which they have to provide. We love this park, it’s safe and great for visiting.

This place is awesome! Kings island is the third best theme park I’ve ever gone to (first is Epcot, and second is magic kingdom). I’m a chicken on coasters, and the beast, mystic timbers, and backlot stunt coaster is the best. As a Cincinnati local, it is always nice to go up to ki for a couple hours to ride the beast and leave. Worth the money every time.

Absolutely impressive!! I’m blown away by what a beautiful park this is. I’ve been to all the major parks around the country and this is in the top 3. There’s something for everyone, all ages and food galore. Fright Fest is amazing, decorated top-notch. The passes are a super good deal and includes parking which saves you $25 bucks! They also aid the disabled with more than reasonable accommodations.

This park really has some great rides now with the addition of Orion. While there I noticed that the park was kept clean and the employees I interacted with were very friendly. Another thing noticed is that there was a good amount of security personnel as well. There are also some older rides here that are a bit shaky, but I was quite surprised with mystic timbers since I last rode it in 2017 when it opened and it's still a smooth wooden coaster. I also got food here and it was quite good. Lastly the weekdays at this park are usually light so not allot of wait times.

Was delighted to see that the park that I had such wonderful childhood memories from 2 family visits had not only held up, but had exceedingly improved over the years. Highly recommend spending at least two days here if you are coming from out of town to get a chance to ride everything that you want. Great family atmosphere, and though our son is now old enough to ride all the big coasters, there is a great kiddie land for the little ones as well.

Had a great time. It had been way too long since the last time I was there. Really enjoyed the Orion and Diamond Head. We were there for a private event and then got to stay and check out the Haunt. If you enjoy Halloween and all the spooky displays and haunted houses etc. You will really enjoy Kings Island Haunt. We sure did!!!

We had a wonderful family weekend. The service by employees was outstanding. The food was just as good. All rides were operating and their Halloween haunt was set up as spectacular as always! We got fast lane passes and every dollar spent on this trip was well worth the memories! I’d like to add that my son has a cardiac pacemaker and the security did a fantastic job recognizing his ID card and knowing just what to do and not do. It hasn’t always been that way at KI and it’s obvious they are now trained well and everything went smoothly with that too!! Thank you KI for getting everything right!❤️

Winterfest 2023. Great time, they claim to have 7 million lights this year and I believe them. Many different themed branches of the park with lights on every surface. The parade was a blast for all ages and really brought out the Christmas spirit in everyone. Only downside would be the lack of rides but I was fine with not getting frostbite from the Orion.

Pretty fun amusement park, especially during Christmas time when they have the ice rink up. It is certainly Ohio based with certain features like corn and chili, but they have some awesome gluten-free options which are particularly nice. I have only gone during December, so I can’t say for sure, but both times the staff were oddly unfriendly. It’s definitely no Disney, but it is nice.

So I'm from California, where know is open 365 days a year, this place was open for a very short period of time, they were open until x12/31 and open back up 04/29 yet season passes for 5, meal plans and drinks plans plus the park plan cost me over $2000, for less than half a year of fun is not very worth it. Now i have to admit they have rides better then the ones comparable to knotts, but i could go to knows any day i want and eat and ride all i want. Plus my meal plan didn't transfer correctly and i had the platinum plan

Went for the Halloween Haunt. Had Fast Passes. Had an AMAZING TIME! Fast passes are definitely worth it the money! Rode every ride twice within 2 hours and seen all the spooky sites. Very nicely decorated. Coasters scary AF after dark!

Came for Winter fest December 2023 and what a treat!!! Bought tickets in advance and through security and ticket line with a very small wait.... What an entrance with the ice skating rink in the front/middle and lined with all sorts of pieces to eat and multiple options, then in the backdrop the Eiffel Tower draped with memorizing hundreds of feet long stands of lights, just a thing of beauty!!!! Hot chocolate options all over and sweet shops around every corner.... Great job owners and management as every single staff member we ran across ( which had to be 50+ ) was very nice and polite....roller coasters of course down for the winter but they had a bunch of rides available for the little ones to the bigger kiddos.... Can't wait to be back

It's a really good amusement park. It's well-staffed, with washrooms nearby and food options available at most corners, although the food prices are a bit high, as expected. The parking lot is quite spacious. I particularly enjoyed the Mystic Timbers ride as it's pretty fast.

This is by far the greatest air museum I have been to!! Judging from the other reviews here or any where else, the place totally does not disappoint! You and your family definitely should spend a day and you'll see. It's FREE admission and parking. There's plenty of displays and definitely gives honor to the service men and women of the past and present. I would love to visit again! (When they open the Early Days of flight)

This place is huge and has so many planes! It's very informative of all the wars and how the planes came about. I really liked that it had places you could stop and watch a video of people speaking about their experiences. The air force one planes were tight! If you are claustrophobic I do not recommend :D They were setting up for an air force dinner ball and everyone that came looked amazing! Gift shop had a lot of fun things you can purchase.

Massive museum with an extensive collections of planes from the beginnings of aviation until today. Definitely could spend days in there and still have material to read and learn. A great museum for any history, military or aviation buff. Lots of walking ( smart watch clocked 6 miles indoors!) so be ready for those distances.

Took my girlfriend here for a surprised trip and we had such a great experience. Since she's a teacher, she enjoyed reading all the history and facts about the planes and about the equipment used in the wars. I love how clean this place was and spread out so it never felt crowded. I recommend spending about 2 days here if you want to get the full experience and read everything. About 1 day if you just want to look at everything. Great gift shop and cafeteria too.

After 15+ years, I managed to return to this museum, and I was impressed by the changes. -including a new building. The museum covers flight from the earliest days all the way to current space vehicles If you go, wear comfortable shoes and bring a spare battery for your camera. The docents are helpful and know details of the exhibits. I do recommend making a donation and getting a site map so you can target sections to visit. I suspect I will find an excuse to return sometime soon.

The exhibits are great. I have visited twice before and would come back again to see the exhibits. The parking lot has two electric chargers with four parking spots. The charging is slower than my home charger but is at a decent charging rate of about 30 miles per hour. The food court is expensive. Cost about $50 for one adult and two kids for food and drinks. Most ridiculous is that there is NO water station anywhere in the museum. I understood that water fountains are not safe in this pandemic. However, at least the museum should put water bottle fill stations. Other than staying thirsty, your only option is to visit the cafe and pay $2.75 for a bottle of water. In the cafe, there is NO plastic recycling for the plastic package and the water bottles. As a public institution, the museum should do better on recycling.

This is such an awesome museum. They have so many airplanes to look at. If you are an airplane enthusiast set aside at least a whole day to spend here. There is so much history in this museum. They also have some simulators you can try out, those cost money. Be warned, the cafe is very expensive. If you can I recommend eating elsewhere. The gift shop is awesome and has all kinds of cool things to get.

This place is a great learning experience for anyone who wants to know about military or the planes involved and the aircraft in general. Seeing it up close is a beautiful thing because from TV or just photos you can't really tell the true size of this place as well as the aircraft inside. Very beautifully taken care of great summertime fun nice and cool on the inside. Great for the whole family! Definitely worth visiting!!! They even have a gift shop and a food area.

It was an amazing experience! The museum is so huge, and there are so many different aircraft to see! Lots of experimental and hard-to-find aircraft, and from so many different time periods. There is also a large collection of presidential aircraft which you can walk through and a missile collection. An outstanding collection that you could easily spend a few days looking at. Great place for history enthusiasts and aviation nuts. Would highly recommend.

Awesome place from start to finish! The lady at the beginning who helped show us things on the map that we wanted to see was VERY helpful. This is an incredible place for aviation enthusiasts, people interested in history, little kids amazed by big vehicles, etc. Everyone should try to make it here at least once. Even the bathrooms were good, the facility was clean, and the gift shop had lots of good quality fun things to choose from. We'll definitely be back!

You can get a sweeping view of Air Force and military aviation progress at the National Museum of the United States Air Force, the world’s largest and oldest military aviation museum. There are more than 360 aircraft and aerospace vehicles on display, many rare and one-of-a-kind. In addition, you’ll find thousands of historical aviation artifacts. If you love the Air Force, aviation or the military in general, you will want to visit. We have been to several service national museums and this one is one of the best. Highly recommend visiting. Would definitely suggest to plan to visit with 4-5 hours available. Museum admission and parking are free (fee for theater and flight simulators).

Such a wonderful experience!! I visited the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force on 30 November 2023. The Behind the Scenes Tour was aHHmazing! Our Tour Guide, Will McLaughlin, was fun, personable, polite, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking a field trip for work, school, or with your family. You will not be disappointed. I had a limited amount of time to view the display. I was blown away by the size of some of the aircraft. You just don't have a true feel for some of these aerospace vehicles until you're standing right next to it. Service is great. The facility was very clean. I took advantage of their free mobility cart because of an injury. I would not have been able to view much of the displays but I was able to make it through all the buildings without being an excruciating pain which is a win-win for me. I highly recommend it.

Simply incredible, and FREE to enter. So many amazing planes. Probably the only place you can see 2 different SR71 models in the same museum. Some other favorites there were the YF 23, F 117 and the B2. The prototype planes were neat too. It took me about two hours just to look at everything and read maybe 15%. If you are near and have more than 2 hours you need to go

I had a great 3 hours in the museum. I wasn't expecting so many air and space craft. It took quite a bit just to walk around. I got an hour tour of hanger 4 from Dennis - and it was AMAZING. Dennis served in the Air Force so he had his own stories but was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire museum and each plane. Just a fantastic experience. A must see!

Free to get in! I recently visited the Air Force museum and was pleasantly surprised by the extensive indoor and outdoor exhibits they had to offer. The museum was filled with a lot of people, more than I had planned for, but it added to the energetic atmosphere of the place. The indoor exhibits were informative and well-curated, showcasing the history and advancements of the Air Force over the years. I particularly enjoyed the displays of vintage planes and helicopters, as well as the interactive exhibits that allowed visitors to get a hands-on experience of what it's like to be a pilot. The outdoor exhibits were equally impressive, with a wide range of aircraft displayed in an open-air setting. It was fascinating to see the different planes up close and learn about their unique features and capabilities. One thing to note is that weapons are not allowed on the premises, so be sure to leave those at home. However, this didn't detract from the overall experience, as the museum had plenty of other interesting things to see and do. Overall, I had a great time at the Air Force museum and would highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in aviation or military history. The exhibits were engaging, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and I left feeling enriched by all that I had learned during my visit.

Impressive sized museum with an extensive collection of aircraft throughout history. I spent about 3 hours here, and still more to see. I went on a free tour that was really informative and interesting. They offer various free tours in different sections. This is a museum for all ages and interests. Definitely recommend to go here.

This is hands down one of my favorite museums. I've been 4-5 times now and love bringing friends and family for their first time. The staff is fantastic and the tours are incredible. You could spend all day here and learn so much. It would be hard to fit everything into one day if you do all the tours. They are free and 100% worth it.

Lot of history and plenty of planes to see. It's definitely a place for all age groups, especially for those who love history and big planes. The place is huge so I'd encourage you to carry plenty of fluids. The entry into Air Force One was great, although it's not a newer plane. I would plan for a full day visit so you get ample time to see everything. Don't miss the theater show and be sure to check the show timings ahead of visit.

This place this incredible! To begin its 100% free! How can you beat that. Besides that this place is a history bombshell! Tons of history in this place beyond just military. They have stuff dedicated to the beginning of flight. Then they progress through flight throughout history starting with world war I moving to world war II then the Vietnam and korean war and moving to modern flight. The end is space flight and presidential planes. Awesome place. Interactive for kids and more information than you can take in for a single visit. Will have to return.

AWESOME experience! If you are a history museum fan, if you love airplanes, if you want to see the biggest collection of aero history in one place, you have to plan to visit! The museum is free to attend. They ask for a donation. Parking is free and plenty of it. We walked through all the hangers and spent the entire day at the museum (which is so easy to do because there is so much to see!!). There are free guided tours (see website in advance to see times and hangers) that give so much information about the planes and history. I was at this museum when I was a kid- it’s been over 30 years- and now my first time back with my own kids, it was way better and far exceeded my expectations! My husband who is military, my 10 year old son- all completely blown away at this gem of a museum! We will definitely be going back at some point! Worth doing again! Do plan to spend the whole day. Don’t forget the planes outside too! There is a cafe. Only water in clear bottles allowed. But if you pack a cooler there are covered shelters outside for a picnic lunch.

Wow. So much to see. I am sure we barely touched the surface. There were so many things to hear and read about. The museum is donation based only. There is a simulator you can pay to ride. We loved walking I. The old Air Force One planes. But the space is tight in those. Not really for the claustrophobic! Overall a great stop for us!

100% Awesome, probably the only government entity with a 4.9 ⭐ rating out of 23,000 reviews. This place is fantastic, it took me 4 hours and I wasn't able to see everything that I wanted. So much cool history and definitely a sense of pride as an American seeing where we have been and I'm curious what will be in the fifth hangar in the future twenty years from now! They definitely need a F16 and F35

Great place to visit. Free parking, free admission. You can donate whatever amount and get a map from them (optional). The have free double stroller to use indoors if needed for kids. You are able to walk through certain planes. Others have small cockpits a kids can climb into. Gift shop is pricy (not surprising for a free museum)

The fact this place is free is INSANE. It is massive, and has so many incredible aircraft’s, artifacts, and informative plaques. we only spent 2 hours here (only visiting the area and in a bit of a rush) could have easily spent 2+ more.it is so spacious! And packed for the brim with things to see. My husband is a history nerd and loved it all, they have very unique things here. Museum is very well kept and clean,and there is plentiful staff if you have questions.

This was the ultimate place to experience a total solar eclipse. I drove 1200 miles for the experience, and it was well worth it. This museum is inconceivably big, with huge galleries containing almost 400 planes. Curation of exhibits is first rate. One could spend days in there. And the parking and admission are free. An ultimate deal. Staff did a great job putting on a mega event for the eclipse of 2024.

A truly amazing and interactive journey through aviation history. They have it all and help you to journey through history. From the Wright brothers to Air Force One to the world’s fastest plane the SR-71 Blackbird. We spent the whole day here and still didn’t have enough time to see it all. I can’t wait to return again soon.

What can I say. The National Museum of the US Airforce is fantastic. I have wanted to go here for years, as it’s the only place in the world with a real flying saucer. To say I was impressed is an understatement. We have nothing like this in the UK and it puts every air museum I have been to, including in Washington DC to shame. If you like planes, this is one place you HAVE to visit. I went a long way out of the way when driving from Chicago to Niagara Falls to visit here and it was well worth it. Over 1000 planes, covering from the Wright Brothers; from just down the road; to the very latest F-22 and B2. Though it’s a shame the B2 isn’t real and not a very good mock-up. I would definitely recommend visiting here and its one of few places worthy of a special trip to see it. You can easily spend all day here.

It's a huge museum and very well maintained ed. We are surprised it is FREE entry. Ample parking, free again. It took us 3.5 hours to take a quick tour. There were many exhibits of real plane remains and stuff. Many movies playing every corner showing how the remains were collected and refurbished for display. We enjoyed. There were many other interactive stations, kids loved. Start from exhibits 3 if you have kids. They have virtual reality and other simulation rides. Some other engaging exhibits for children there. SUPER expensive food. Not worth it at all. A small slice of co-pilot pizza, charged at 8$. Way toooo much.

Such a fantastic museum. I grew up in this area and returned for a short weekend visit with my son - many great updates and so much history! Numerous hangars featuring different periods of history, it’s easy to spend a full afternoon here. It’s free to visit and well worth checking out if you’re in town.

This is a great place to visit to learn about aviation history and to get close to many historic planes. This museum has many one-of-a-kind artifacts, so it's definitely a place to visit. There is no admission fee, but you can leave a donation.

This is an amazing collection of aircraft. It starts with early flight with the Wright Brothers and other pioneers of flight right up to the present day. Piston engine and jets. It is all indoors and 361 aircraft. Organized by era it is marvellous to see. And amazingly it is free. Spend two days if you have the time! Highly recommended!

My visit to this museum was truly memorable and enjoyable. The extensive collection of presidential aircraft on display was both impressive and educational, offering a unique glimpse into the history of presidential travel. The exhibits were well-maintained and thoughtfully presented, making our walk through the museum a delightful experience. However, the only downside to our visit was the limited food options available at the museum's restaurant. Beyond just chips and small snacks, there wasn't much variety for a proper meal, which was a bit disappointing. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience at the museum was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in aviation or presidential history. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, adding to the positive atmosphere of our visit.

We had a great visit with an air force veteran. Most of the museum is accessible except for the space shuttle and Air Force One exhibits(the elevator to the upper level of the shuttle was out of order and the Presidential planes feature tight corridors you have to squeeze through). The Museum is well laid out and flows from one era of aviation to the next. Well worth the visit and you could definitely spend more than one day there to absorb everything there is to see.

Always a great experience! Lots of history with a chance to see aviation throughout time. This time the kids came at well (12 and 11, boy and girl) they both had a great time as well! Highly recommend...have to give a donation of any amount for a map of the place. Otherwise, free to enter and enjoy.

I hadn't been here since I was a kid! I came here for the eclipse to see totality on 4/8/24; the event was extremely well organized. While the museum was very busy, the only claustrophobic moments were entering the building and using the bathroom closest to the entrance. If you are anywhere in the Cincinnati-Dayton-Columbus area and you can take a day, visit this place. If you're an engineer in the aerospace industry, military, or just a huge fan of planes, this place will be heaven for you. Every important aircraft development in the history of the United States (and beyond) is included here. The place is huge and packed full of details; bring your best walking shoes and pace yourself. If you don't have an entire day, get a map and find your favorites, then focus on seeing those. We spent about 3-4 hours split up by the eclipse and still could have spent another couple of hours in the place. I left with a mix of feelings; it's a different experience when you're an adult. It has a way of getting your patriotism flowing; it is amazing what we can do when we put our minds to it. On the flip side of that, it is also frightening what we're capable of when we decide to do something; the missile gallery is a sobering reminder of this.

Great zoo for the whole family. Lots of parking. Clean and well staffed. I saw EMS and security team members roaming the zoo. Many attractions have wheelchair access. Clean and kid’s friendly. Lots of customers but didn’t get overwhelming for me because the place was so large, everyone was well scattered. Lots of restrooms, small gift shops, drink and snack stands, and restaurants throughout the zoo. Lots to do. Lots to look at. Lots to buy. Affordable prices for foods, drinks, snacks and admission. Parking is $10 in addition to admission cost. Water park is also additional. Place is huge. Plan to stay a whole day or maybe even two days or else you’ll be rushing to get through the entire place.

Incredible zoo and water park! My family and I paid for two of the behind the scenes events (Jack Hanna and the Safari Ride) and these were so amazing we want to go back. We also fed the sting rays which was so fun. Very affordable considering everything we did that day. My only suggestion is to get there early or spend two days there in order to see everything. One of the best zoos I have ever been to. 🦓🦒🦚🦡🦛

Amazing Amazing experience. Got the chance to bathe an Elephant and learn about them. Our Zoo Educator Erin was amazing. Chris, the Elephant keeper, was also amazing. They were both very knowledgeable and awesome to be around. All the staff was amazing. The animals are well kept and taken care of. Lots of animals to see, great experience gaining knowledge from all the Zoo keepers. Well worth the travel and money. Wild Burger has a very tasty burger, customer service was on point.

The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium exceeded our very high expectations. Every exhibit was well themed, spacious, and full of activities for the animals. The pathways were well-marked and well-laod out. Water cups were available at all drink and food stands with fountain drink sales. The animals were allowed to choose whether to be in their outside or inside habitats. There were many species we had not seen in person before including sand cats, several reptiles, and polar bears. The reptile house was expansive and impressive. Personally, I have never seen a feline that I didn't love and the number of big (and small) cats at the zoo did not disappoint. I have only great things to say about this zoo. A couple of tips we discovered; definitely buy tickets and parking online, this makes entering so much faster; purchase a refillable drink mug and enjoy complimentary refills the day of purchase; ride the Dinosaur Boat Ride (additional $3 charge, worth it); and if possible, ride the zoo shuttle from the nearby Park-and-Ride for $3 tickets. Finally, the zoo has been collecting cards for Jack Hanna and his family. Jack Hanna spent his life educating people on animals via his TV appearances, shows, and the zoo itself. He is stricken with advanced Alzheimer's disease and no longer recognizes the zoo that he helped to shape. If anyone is so inclined, there is a small mailbox in the guest relations building, inside the zoo, next to the turnstiles where you can leave a card or note for him and his family.

My visit to the Columbus Zoo was truly incredible. The diversity of animals and their well-maintained habitats left me in awe. From playful penguins to majestic big cats, it's a wildlife enthusiast's dream. The staff's knowledge and passion shone through in their interactions, making it an enriching experience for all ages. It was a Halloween holiday, so seeing children in different costume was a plus. A must-visit for anyone in the area and nearby state.

Love the columbus zoo! The food was great, people were friendly, and the weather was mild so ALL the animals were out and active. North America is under construction so not too much to see there, but if you walk past all of that still has all of Africa and the North America bears to see. ❤️❤️

The Manatee and Stingray habitats are awesome… Very large parking lot. I was in awe of the size of the parking lot. The zoo employees were very friendly and polite. The zoo itself was cool but if I’m honest, I thought it would be a lot better. Very muddy, lots of construction I couldn’t find anywhere for my son to get a snack, a lot of things were closed or broken. This was on a Thursday, 70 degree day, in March. Maybe bad timing to visit but I wasn’t impressed. I will visit again in the summer to compare experiences but I am weary of what the large parking lot means for crowds in the summertime.

We went for a school field trip for my first grader. It was a gloomy day but the animals were still out and about. Saw lots of staff cleaning up inside and outside exhibits. The way this zoo is set up makes it super easy to get around. All of the staff I encountered were super friendly and very helpful. Train ride was only $2.00 a person! Really enjoyed our day here.

By far my favorite zoo in Ohio. This is the first time we've gone this late in the year and it's beautiful with the leaves changing. Since it was cooler more of the animals were active which we loved!! The new underwater tunnel for the seals is awesome & one of our favorite things there this year. Wasn't crowded at all. The Zoo and bathrooms are very clean & the staff is super friendly, great with kids! They've added Adventure Cove since I visited last & it looked like it could be fun, but you can only ride a few rides with a Zoo admission ticket. We LOVE Sting Ray bay. The stingrays get super playful when you're feeding them!!

This was my first visit to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, and I am sure it won't be the last. Even though the temperature was hot the park has several places to go inside for quick cool downs. The park is easy to navigate. The exhibits were informative and interactive. The animals were active or visible too. My son (10) had a blast in the stingray pool with several opportunities to see and touch them up close. Overall a great day and I look forward to returning.

We went here for the lights and they were absolutely gorgeous. Pictures didn't do them justice. Such an awesome zoo and pretty clean for the most part. I would suggest getting there early if you also plan on seeing the animals as most exhibit areas closed at 5 pm which we did not know and missed a ton of animals. It was also very crowded if you don't enjoy being shoulder to shoulder with people, the line to get in as we were leaving was all the way to the parking lot.

Our first time to the Columbus Zoo. It wasn't over crowded and we could walk around easily. If you're a Hot Chocolate fan I would highly recommend getting the souvenir cups that you can get free refills as you go throughout the night. Wait times at the food carts are not horrible either! And very nice staff members.

We went on a Saturday and it was somewhat crowded being Earth Day Weekend. The exhibits weren’t overly crowded. Had to wait at the more popular ones where animals were active (at most-2 minutes) ALOT of Construction on exhibits making them un-viewable. My only pet peeve is having only ONE first aide station at the very front of park. Food was super pricey. One med fountain drink and two- 2 piece chicken tender with fries was almost $35 😳 You can get free cup of ice water anywhere, which is nice. Parking was pretty easy. Tram was not operating at the time. If not requiring any discount (ie military) I would get tickets online. I needed military discount along with Franklin county discount for daughter so we were able to get tickets for $22 each. So that was awesome. However, had to wait in line to purchase tickets. Only waited under 10 minutes. Ticket girl was very friendly. ADVICE: 1. Get tickets online if possible 2. Take picture of where you are parked 3. Download Columbus Zoo App 4. Make a plan to tour park so you aren’t going back and forth. (Only going wrong way once, my daughter and I still walked a 6.14 miles—this started at car and finished at car) so about 5 miles. 5. Bring own food 6. Bring empty water bottle to fill once in park. You may be able to bring full bottle (not sure) bottled water is $3-4

We went for the holiday lights and it was worth the 2 and a half hour drive for us. We also arrive close to opening time before it got flooded with people at sun set so that was a smart move. It felt like the entire zoo was ours. The downside was that half of the animals were gone but that’s completely understandable as no decent person would want animals to freeze for our entertainment. Regardless, we had a beautiful walk through the entire place twice. Once for animals and second time around for the lights. The huge LED Christmas tree is the star of the night as it is just a technology marvel to view. SO MUCH EYE CANDY! Follow me on maps for great photos and detailed reviews 😊

I hadn't been to the Columbus Zoo for a long time! So much bigger. The zoo and aquarium were absolutely amazing! Natural habitats we're well maintained. Animals seemed clean, well fed and mostly active. We all enjoyed the wonderful displays. Price was about $25 for the zoo and aquarium. They also had rides! I think you could pay per ride or maybe buy a ride pass bracelet (??). Also, they had a splash park! No info to give, just that I saw it as an extra part of the zoo area (need to buy a extra ticket for the water park). This attraction has a HUGE parking lot ($10 for parking...I highly recommend buying tickets online. Also, you should print your tickets before you go! You pay for parking at the same time). From the parking lot, there is a "tram" to get on to ride to the main zoo entrance. We had a great day!

We had a great day at the zoo. They have QR code that you can scan to have the map right on your phone or they offer paper maps as well. They had great signage too so it was easy to follow and find your way around. There were volunteers at a lot of the animal viewing areas that shared information about the animals we were seeing. They have plenty of seats throughout for breaks. You can take in drinks and snacks too which is a great way to save some money. They do have stands throughout for food and even offer Great Lakes draft beer. They have a great food court too. The outdoor area is covered with plants so you get plenty of shade. We saw a good amount of animals. We learned a lot we didn’t know about different species too. I would recommend you check it out.

This is by fair the biggest and best zoo I have ever been to. We went here on our way down from New York and it was a great decision. We spent 5 hours at the zoo saw plenty of animals. The zoo was very clean, staff was helpful and friendly and they had a lot of displays and beautiful landscaping.

Had a such fun day at the zoo! This is one of the better zoo in the country. Lots of animals and sea creatures to see and touch. Fun shows and cool rides. Loved the 4-D film, ticket was only $5. It is such a great place for the family to bring their young kids. Us adults also had a fantastic time!

This zoo is one of the best I've ever been too. The animals are excellently cared for. They have zoo ambassadors at the exhibits to answer questions about the animals. There are multiple shows and demonstrations. The zoo offers private tours and experiences for an additional charge. It is huge and beautifully designed. There is a water park right next to it that I haven't explored. I have visited this zoo twice and each time I left completely exhausted. You could easily spend a couple days here to really get to see and do everything. They have food, alcohol and dessert available for purchase. The entire campus is non-smoking. There is plenty of parking, and a train inside the zoo and a shuttle to ride if you are parked far. The zoo has a couple of little rides. It's perfect and designed well for families or whomever to enjoy!

One of the best days of our vacation was spent at this zoo! I would definitely come back again, this time maybe for The Wilds experience. We got there fairly early, not long after opening. FYI, there is a parking fee collected when you enter the lot, so be ready. We saw so many animals and had great views that allowed for some awesome pics. Definitely recommend spending the extra cash to feed the giraffes, too. I do this at any zoo that offers it and it never gets old. We covered most of the zoo in a very busy 3 hours, but if you want to take your time, you could easily spend a whole day. Oh, and I loved the Frosty cart, it was a great treat right before heading out. I haven't seen one like this anywhere else and it was a perfect ending to the day. Definitely recommend.

We love close enough to go to the Zoo regularly and enjoy the beautiful grounds and education offered. The zoo doesn't remarkable job of encouraging conservation and understanding animal habitats. I am adding a review of the WildLights for 2023. The sheer volume of work that goes into this endeavor demonstrates the sense of bringing community together. It was awe inspiring - packed for sure. Things seemed to run orderly and for trip the weather was cooperative. If you haven't gone go- parking is $10 and then of course the price of your ticket worth it for a family outing to see lights and enjoy the sights...side note most all the exhibits close at 5PM.....so don't expect to see the animals..just the lights.

Fun, fun, fun!!! We spent 5 1/2 hours, and still could have a little bit more time! The boys had fun, seeing some cool animals that they didn't get to see very often. Lions where very active, gorillas where fun to watch run around, Elephants wherebout and walking, and the sting a ray bay, was a must! So so cool to touch them!

We went during the last part of March, and it was still cool enough that some of the animals were off exhibit. What animals were out, were great to see, and very active! The amount of walking g between exhibits is a bit tiring and the exhibits that were closed for the season looks like they had not been touched since last year, they looked like an abandoned part of the zoo.

This is the most kid-friendly zoo I have ever been to. It's extremely large yet the entire zoo has exhibits geared toward children. Eleanor and Josh especially enjoyed learning to be copilots. You can get very close to the animals, which is unusual.

Christmas lights was one of the best displays I have seen bar none. Worth the trip for sure. If you are going to see animals go earlier in the day because a lot of displays of animals end about 5. The one bad thing I will say is if you go,plan on being stuck in parking lot for at least 2 hours or just camp in parking lot all night. No traffic direction to exit so therefore all night traffic jam

It's pretty much always a good experience here. The membership is a great value if you live in the area. The free parking for members is huge. The zoo fits a lot into the space. It's not as sprawling as the Cleveland Zoo, but it has a good selection of animals and habitats. There are some fun, unique areas like walking with the kangaroos and the tunnel going through the seal area. The boat ride through the Dinosaur Island area is a hit with the kids. The zoo does get extremely busy on weekends and during summer, and traffic shuts down the city during Zoo Lights in the winter.

A solid 1/3 of the animals just seemed to not be around. I understand we’re early in the season but we paid full price for probably 1/2 of the attractions being available. No line control at the entrance so people were just all crowded up against the gates to enter with people just cutting and shifting into lanes after already standing in line an hour before getting to this point. 2 lines that just turned into a chaotic blob. The Unextinct after hours exhibit was a much better experience than the daytime zoo visit. I would do that again.

I love going to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. They have so many great animals to see. I especially enjoy the Pallas' cats, the bears, the sea lions and seals, the reptile house, the penguins, the tiger, and the manatees. The property is well kept, and the habitats for the animals are nice and spacious. It's a great place to take kids or to just spend an afternoon. You'll want to allow yourself plenty of time to see everything, though, as it's a large zoo! Definitely worth a visit, or several!

We came to do the Frankie Experience; a behind the scenes visit with Frankie and his mom Phoebe. We were able to feed Frankie and help bathe both of them. We even got to touch Phoebe’s foot. We learned a lot during this visit. We highly recommend doing the Frankie experience. It was a lot of fun.

This was such a great activity to do! My boyfriend and I did the X-Tour which was more adventurous. I’m glad we did that one! Our tour guides Todd and Andrew did a great job. They were light hearted, professional and provided cool nature facts for us. I’d do more tours with them! Loved the value for what we received today! Pictures to come!

My wife and I went last week for the X-tour course and it was a lot of fun! It was the first time for either of us and we can't wait to go again! During the zip we went over a pond, river and through the woods and were able to see plenty of wildlife along the way. Brie and Dani were awesome. They were extremely safe and fun. Brie is a bit of a goober, which filled our time with laughs and pondering questions while we were in between zips. When the water in the river was too high and we couldn't ride the last 2 zips, they adapted and let us ride the Super Zip instead, which is typically an additional charge. We highly recommend including this on your Hocking Hills vacation!

Amazing. And it was only the short tour. Our guides were Laurel and Hardy, Dean and Martin and Abbott and Costello. If you do it, ask for Ian and Dan. I'm sure the others ones are good too, but don't know'em, can't vouch.

First time zip linning, and what a great place to experience it at! Our tour guides Ben and Anna were so much fun and make the trip just that much better. Highly recommend to take the day and zip it up and request these two! Thanks again to the awesome experience and we will definitely be back.

If you are looking for top notch adventure and excellent customer service this is the place. I was a bit nervous, but as soon as we met our guides, Cheyenne and Dylan, my mind was at ease. They were funny, kind, patient, and above all knowledgeable. We did the X-Tour and the Super Zip. Well worth the money. We are bringing our daughter, son-in-law, and two granddaughters back next year! I highly recommend Hocking Hills Canopy Tours!

My 5 yr old son and his cousins had a BLAST! They overcame fears and built confidence while encouraging one another. This kids course is best in a small group. Parents can follow them as they progress higher and higher. The staff from tickets to zip was outstanding!!

My wife and I took the Top of the Canopy tour for our anniversary. It was the first time for both of us and we enjoyed it immensely. The guides were very safety focused, but kept the mood light and positive the entire time. We were in a group of 8 and several people were stretching their personal boundaries and ultimately everyone had a good time!

We had a FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE today! Justin and Log were our tour guides and not only were they safety conscience and knowledgeable about the nature all around us, they were really funny and made the tour super fun. They even had all of our names memorized by the first zip line! Thanks for a great afternoon!

WOW-we had a fantastic time yesterday (11/5) on our Canopy Tour! Ian & Joya were the best guides :) They were very patient and very encouraging with our group .They explained all steps very clearly and were such fun guides.The jokes from Ian were also a highlight of our day.lol We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful “moms” day out.

Had so much fun! Our Tour Guides were Amelinda and Todd, and they were a ton of fun! Super knowledgeable about the trees and surroundings and were very helpful with us learning how to brake and properly zip down the lines. We felt very comfortable after just the first zip line. Next time we come down we're definitely going to do the more advanced tour! :)

Amazing fun! We had great guides, Mitch and Skyler, and a good group to explore with, they gear you up, explain everything, educate you on some history of the area, you go fast on some sections and slow on others, up in the tree tops, cross drone wooden bridges, beautiful! Highly recommend and make sure you add the picture package because you really can’t take your own, you are wearing gloves and all geared up and if you drop your phone, they aren’t going to look for it! Must to do activity if you are in the area!

If I could give this 10 stars I absolutely would!! My family spent the week at Hocking Hills and by word of mouth we were told about Canopy Tours. Let me start with the Dragonfly Zip line was so fun and interactive for kids of any age really! But the staff is what truly made my kids experience! Kate and Chey were absolutely wonderful with my two boys (6yrs and 9yrs) my younger one got scarded after the bridge and they were so encouraging and motivating. Even though he didn’t even up going on with the course they allowed him to use the “starter line” as much as he’d like and he had a ball! My oldest was over the moon the entire time! My mom and I did the super zip and it was well worth it! The staff was hellacious! We will most definitely be back to do more!

We did the X tour!! My son and I went today and it was so much fun! Justin and Keith kept us energized and constantly having a great time! The weather was perfect .. the scenery was amazing .. the guests were fun as well! It was 2 hours of zipping and worth every penny! If you go say Hi to Caddie the ground cat and Carl the Carp 🥰

Had a great first time ziplining experience with Hocking Hills Canopy Tours. The guides Justin and Maddy made everyone feel comfortable throughout the process. We saw several deer and it was beautiful being able to zipline through the beautiful fall leaves and along the river. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I went on the “Extreme Zip Line Tour” and our guides Justin and Log made the tour absolutely incredible! We had the best time, and laughed the ENTIRE time from Justin and Log’s amazing sense of humor. I was nervous and absolutely hate heights, but never once did I feel unsafe! Thank you for making my husband’s 31st birthday such a fantastic time! We will definitely be back!

We had a blast on the X Tour. Our guides made the experience top notch. Keith really brought the excitement, and kept the mood light and energetic. I would 100% recommend.

Probably the wrong time to realize that I’m afraid of heights but I managed to complete the course! Our guides Ian and Maddie were Exceptional!! If I could give 10 stars I would, Maddie and Ian were very professional and fun! Maddie did her best to keep me calm but that was impossible but she is a sweetheart and appreciated none the less. Ian could have a career in theater the knowledge he shared was informative yet hilarious. Although I’m a one and done for zip lining. My husband highly recommends this adventure. I’d rather stay on the ground. Definitely a must do in Hocking Hills.

My 3 kids, ages 11, 9, and 6, did the Dragonfly course and loved it! Justin was their guide and he was knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. He was working alone with a group of 6 kids and he got them geared up and through the course in a very efficient manner.

Food was tasty but it was cold and you could tell it had been sitting a while before it came out. The place wasn't really that busy at the time and we only had a table of 3, so I'm not sure what happened there. Waiter was friendly but not on top of refills. For the price, I'd expect better all around.

Have been here many times with great food and service, had already eaten dinner there the past 2 nights. This evening though was very frustrated as I wanted to take my 13 year old and sit at the bar and have milkshakes. I found out sitting at the bar is for 21 and over, which doesn’t seem right for a family oriented resort. So we ordered them to go since it was a 30 minute wait for a table. After we ordered she said we could go sit at these tables and wait, so i said ok well we can just eat there, but she said we were not allowed because they are for take out only. Then our milkshakes come out and was very disappointed as they look nothing like the menu and were told because they were ordered to go. So I paid $40 for 2 milkshakes that I could have got at Dairy Queen for 1/4 of the price.

Our waiter Tre W was incredible. I was waffling between two options and he gave honest and amazing advice leading me to one of the best turkey burgers - and best turkey anythings!! - that I’ve ever had. And the cocktails (or milkshake if you get a non-alcoholic one) are absolutely phenomenal and worth the price of admission alone! One of the best eating experiences I’ve ever had.

Our server elzie pronounced lz, was attentive, but not very knowledgeable. We were both disappointed in the beer cheese on our tots it was bland. After our appetizer was on the table our wait for food was an additional 45 minutes. Overall the word to describe our dining experience was bland. We were disappointed in the quality especially since everything was so overpriced.

Staff is nice and presentation is everything. But! Food is terrible ordered steak and it was tough like leather. Friend of mine ordered pulled pork sandwich and that was fatty and nasty. Another friend ordered a burger and it was to dry. I paid for 2 people and it was $76 got an app 2 meals and 2 drinks. Needless to say please save your money. Go to Walmart or even mcds to eat will be cheaper and way better.

My husband & I made a late night stop to grab some dinner after a long day at the resort. After being seated we were then shortly greeted by Robyne. She is hands down the best waitress I have had. So kind & polite. She was very attentive and made our experience great. The food was good and came out in a timely manner, considering how busy they were when we arrived. I would definitely dine-in here again when we come back in the future & I hope when we do Robyne is still here to take care of us again!

Let's start off with the service from our waitress Emily was outstanding.. the restaurant itself was very clean and smelled very good. (that's what drew us in)My wife and I had both ordered the cheese head burger I had mine medium well which it was not.. the wife had hers well done.. Quite dry to be honest both of the burgers. The fries were awesome very well seasoned great atmosphere I really loved the lights hanging great touch. I was worried with it being right next to the indoor water park you can't hear anything going on in restaurant but it's quiet in there very nice you can't hear anything from the water park and we were sat right next to the window. Overall we had a great time we may try again before we leave only because of the great service from Emily.. THANK YOU EMILY :)

Vicky from B-Lux Grill & Bar is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, her warm smile and attentive service made our dining experience truly exceptional. Not only did she anticipate our needs, but she also offered expert recommendations on menu items, ensuring each dish exceeded our expectations. She even took the perfect polaroid of me and my husband that we are going to adore forever! Her professionalism, combined with genuine friendliness, elevated our evening to new heights. Vicky's dedication to providing top-notch service is commendable, and she is undoubtedly a valuable asset to B-Lux. We can't wait to return and be greeted by her welcoming presence again! Also have to add, the music that they were playing were definitely 10/10!

It was worth every dollar. The food at this place was so good. This place is for burger lovers. They do have salads and Milk Shakes. The Milk Shakes are very well built. However after a long day the hamburger here fills your stomach and hits the spot

Terry was an amazing server. She was fun and friendly. Our group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids) appreciated her attentiveness and enthusiasm as a server. We loved our meal and drinks and all her humor while also on top of everything we needed. Terry is awesome! Thanks for a great evening.

My son and I visited this restaurant tonight and was impressed. We had Mike as a server and he was absolutely amazing! He was very attentive to our needs. The food was very good and very reasonable priced. We will be back. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Service was amazing. The sandwich itself was a great oversized burger with exception of the burger. I ordered it medium and it came out ready for the face off in the Stanley Cup. The waiter offered to remake it, but my policy is to never return food. ( I don’t want the “special sauce”). The server offered some free gaming cards for my son. Overall I am happy with my experience but the burgers should be on point at a place that calls itself a burger joint.

B-Lux is a beautiful restaurant positioned over the indoor WaterPark of Kalahari. Of course, restaurants and items at Kalahari are ridiculously priced. We really expected the food to be better than it was. The burger was top notch and tasted fresh. However we both chose onion rings as a side when we were asked what we would like for a side “fries, onion rings, or chips?” and they were so soft as if they had been sitting out a long while the coating was not crispy at all. To top it off, when the bill came there was a $5 up charge for choosing onion rings. The food came out very quickly and that would explain why the onion rings tasted old, premade food just waiting to go out. I had to request a different drink because the Mountain Dew came out looking like lemonade, no bubbles and extremely flat. My son got a delicious birthday shake because we were there celebrating his 4th birthday. Overall the meal with tip was over $100 for two adults and 1 toddler so expect sub par food for a higher class price tag. Wished we would have just gotten pizza at the cafeteria which is always delicious!

Food variety and quality was great. Never an empty drink with Mel as our waitress...she was wonderful! The Manager spoiled our table with lots of Arcade passes which made my teenagers so happy! Thank you! We didn't get a chance to try the shakes but they look amazing!!!

The best staff behind the bar!! Vicky was very attentive and took care of everything… before I even knew I needed it! And the Soft Pretzel was the biggest I’ve ever seen!!! Jared the manager was entertaining and very willing to clear up and get his hands dirty! The kind of manager who doesn’t mind helping and remembers where he came from!

Our server Vicky was amazing- so playful and sweet. She took great care of us and enhanced our meal! Milkshakes were out of this world!!!

The food and drinks were awesome. Reasonable prices for being inside a resort! Absolutely delicious. All the severs were attentive and great especially with the kids! Our sever was the best though Tre. W. He definitely shows the he loves his job and thats what we love seeing! Thank you!

We came on a slow weekday, Thursday, beginning of February, and we really enjoyed it! No wait lines for anything, we received our food really fast! Our waitress was amazing and the food was great! Very generous portions! We really weren't sure how this restaurant would be being a part of a waterpark resort but we were plesantly surprised! Very nice, comfy, quiet ambience to relax from the busy and loud waterpark! Very clean and well maintained. I tried the korean glazed salmon and my husband is always weary of restaurant salmon but he almost ate all of my meal after trying it because it was really good! Nice and juicy salmon, and the veggies and rice it came with was wonderful. Jusy make sure if you are coming from the waterpark, don't come in with your bathing suit. They require you wear shoes and shirt over your bathing suit to enter the restaurant. Overall, highly recommend!

Really fun atmosphere. Service was great too. Had the b-luxed up burger with all the trimmings. And there were a lot of trimmings! Onion rings, cheese curds, fries, fried egg and a buffalo wing! Pub chips were awesome as well. Place is pricey but you are at a resort after all. $50 for 3 ppl with no drinks, appetizers or dessert.

Do not waste your money, drive down to Steak N Shake or McDonalds, you'll have just as good food for 1/4th of the price. I feel like we got robbed. Paid $75 for a medium well burger that was served so raw I could couldn't eat it. My husband's burger was also too raw, but he powered though cause he was hungry. My daughter ordered a soda, we're still waiting for it. And the kicker was we get our check and were charged an extra $3 each for fries. & don't get me started on the milkshake that looked nothing like the menu. Two thumbs down!!

Worth visiting! Very cool location with a fun atmosphere. We loved most everything we got. Especially all the items we got from the various bakery’s! Unfortunately, most of the produce we bought was old. Our garlic was sprouted, once I got home and cut into it, and the ginger molded with in a day. Neat experience, but I wasn’t super impressed.

We stopped here because everyone said it was one of the places you HAD to see. The parking is limited but if you arrive early you should be fine. The first 90 minutes are free to park. The fruit and produce area was pretty small. The main area had the bakeries, meat counters, and international products. We got a chicken pasty at the Irish deli, and it was really good. If you have the time, you can find the best prices.

A former train station turned into a market full of local vendors slinging meats and sweets. After your drive over the Hope Memorial Bridge, you turn right into the parking lot. The first 90 minutes are free and it’s only $1/hour after that. A welcome surprise. You’ll first walk into the produce building with vendors selling their tantalizing fruits and hearty vegetables. Once you make it halfway down the corridor, you will see doors to your left to crossover to the rest of the market. Walking in through the double doors, you are greeted by intoxicating aromas. Look up and you will see the beautiful, high ceiling of the former train station. The place is absolutely packed with local meats and sweets. Many of the vendors sell raw meat and fish for your home cooking needs, while the rest provide ready to order snacks and meals. Stalls that caught our eye: local pasta, crepes, hot sauce, cannolis, gyro stand and an Irish bakery. We split up and grabbed a gyro from Steven’s Gyros (featured on Man versus Food) and a sausage roll and meat pie from the Irish bakery. There aren’t many places to sit, but if you go to the west end, you can head up the stairs and get a great view of the market. We stuffed our faces, got a picture and then headed down to grab snacks for the rest of the weekend. We loaded up on local cheese, flavored beef jerky, hot sauce and baked goods. All of which were sensational.

This was my first experience at West Side Market. So many Vendors under one roof. It was Awesome. Every person in the market from the people working to the visitors in the market were extremely nice. It was crowded but a good crowd it added to the fun experience. I look forward to going back.

This was genuinely one of the nicest markets I’ve ever been to! Very good prices on a huge variety of specialty and regular items. The produce looked almost too good to be real. A last stop before headed home on a weekend trip was perfect to bring home a lot of goodies. Delicious cannolis and pepperoni bread from Theresa’s bakery, perfect scratch made pasta from Ohio city pasta, home made beef jerky and more!! I’m considering making the trip from Pittsburgh more often just to stop here again!

This place was really cool! Lots of vendors and I loved the fresh market. I wish we had something like this in Columbus with the same produce selection! The downside is that if you’re vegetarian there isn’t really anywhere to have lunch on site. That would have really made it. Also there are full animal carcasses on display so if you are squeamish or cannot handle that I wouldn’t recommend

Nice Marketplace! A good variety of food, especially meat products. Prices for vegetables are a little higher (and not better quality) than in a grocery store. I think shopping in the vegetable section isnt worthwhile, but for meat, cheese, or specialty food items it is great--there the price and quality is much better! Also, Rita's is the best place for anyone looking for olives! You should also try the brats from Frank's!

Enjoyed the West Side market. Haven't been here in years. Everything in the area is so different but I'm glad that this lil gem is still there and hope that more local vendors continue the tradition. Prices were competitive. Some vendors allow you to even try some of the fruits. Like the fact that you can select the specific pieces of meats you want to purchase. Would go again.

MAKE SURE you go to the covered meat and cheese market! Delicious cheese. Try the truffle goat cheese from one of the vendors! We bought Amish smoked pepper, jack cheese, cheddar and blue cheese cake, Horseradish cheese etc. Fruit and vegetable stalls outside also covered. Free parking 90 minutes. $1 after that after that.

This was a pretty cool place. Fruit and vegetable vendors, bakers with fresh bread and yummy looking desserts, fish mongers, cheese seller's and meat vendors with sausages and other products. We bought fresh bread, sausages and canoli. Parking was free for the first 90 minutes. We were there about an hours because everyone had free samples.

Great market!! Lots of selections of fruit 🍓🍑 and veggies 🥕🥗. Plenty of vendors with meat and cheese, bakeries 🥯 with amazing fresh bread 🍞 and sweets 🍭. We stopped at the Gyro place, far left corner of the market, and enjoyed the most delicious, large gyro! Wow the house tzatziki sauce was so good! Makes you want to bottle it up and bring it home. So good. We got the regular size Gyro and it was big. We ended up having lunch again the next day with the leftovers. All the produce looked fresh, we got some local strawberries 🍓🍑. Great selection of cheese and meat. Hard to decide what to get when it all looks so good. Would recommend going there. If you are staying in the area for a few days (that's what we did) and get your food here.

We try to go here whenever we are in Cleveland (we live 2 hrs away). There is so much good food here. It's always easy to find something new and unique. As an Englishman, my favorite vendor is Reilly's. They have great Irish pies, pasties and sausage rolls. Plus their scones are spot on.

The West Side Market is well known for a reason: Fresh meat, fresh bread and bakery goods and fresh specialty foods--all in one National Register of Historical Places landmark. There, you can find fresh Hungarian Kielbasa not far from fresh baked French bread that's next to an herb stand. Try the kolatchkes--small Hungarian pastries filled with fruit or nuts. No pictures are available because they were promptly devoured. Cleveland West Side Market is great for a day trip. Highly recommended.

This was a really fun market to explore! There are so many shops to visit with plenty of ready to eat and "make at home" or grocery options. We enjoyed getting crepes, donuts, and a scotch egg, but if we visit again there would be so many more things to try. We were just passing through so we didn't grab meet or other to cook ingredients, but everything looked delicious. The building was beautiful as well.

Amazing interesting historical magical are just a few of the descriptions. Free parking under 90 minutes. A must visit if you are in the area. Locals come here for fresh everything from homemade pasta beef jerky meat vegetables dehydrated fruits and vegetables. It’s truly an amazing experience. Be prepared to be wowed.

What a fantastic market. We spent the weekend in Cleveland visiting family and decided to check out this market. Only wish we lived closer to this place! Everything is so fresh and can do just about all your shopping in one place with local vendors. Lots of free samples everywhere too if you are undecided on something! It was a great experience.

Calling for the food lovers!)) seriously, it is a great place where everyone could find to indulge themselves - from smoked meat and dipping oil to bread and macarons, pies, and coffee. Very educational for kids too! They can see some fruits and vegetables that are not regular in stores, even cacao beans.

Amazing place, packed with folks seeking am impressive array of baked goods, meats, and cheeses, plus Irish, Mexican, Italian, Middle Eastern, and other foods. We loved it so much we went back the next day. What a great spot for this city! I wish we had something like it back home.

I stopped by the West Side Market over Easter weekend with my family while visiting the Cleveland area. The market has been on my list of places to visit and it did not disappoint! Parking is free for 90 minutes or less and $1/hour after that, with a max fee of $10/day. Most vendors accept credit cards, but some charge additional fees to do so. Being a holiday weekend the market was in full swing and very busy! If you have small children, I would not recommend bringing strollers/wagons. The fresh produce selection was excellent and everything tasted so good! Lots of produce stands give out samples. If I was local, I would love to shop the produce regularly! We purchased macarons, cannolis, apple fritters, Italian rainbow cookies, brats, snack sticks, breads, pink glow pineapple, fresh herbs, and artichokes. I highly recommend going if in the area and hope to visit again soon!

Gorgeous historic market. The building itself is enough of a reason to visit. Add in all the wonderful vendor options and you could make a day of it. As we were visiting from out of town, we grabbed some pastries and coffee beans to enjoy later! Highly recommend a visit if you are in the Cleveland area.

I've enjoyed many games over the years at progressive stadium... Stadium is incredibly nice, clean, modern and up to date. Navigation to seats, within the stadium, and outside is simplistic and well designed for doing so. Easy getting to and from any location within. There really isn't a bad seat in the entire stadium. I've sat low, high, from all angles, including the bleacher seats and they're all well worth the priced paid and view. I personally, enjoy higher up, seeing the entire field, and nothing quite beats the view of the Cleveland Skyline. Almost looks like a cut out, breathtaking and wonderful to see as you watch the game below. Disappointed that they'd taken the All You Can Eat seats up top away as it was an awesome view and you couldn't beat the price. Concession stands are pricey, certainly not worth what you pay for essentially anything, though it tends to be expected at stadium's in general, I've definitely been to much better, when it comes to price of refreshments. Parking isn't horrendous in terms of close proximity but it's typically $25+, in most areas. Prior to the casino being built, access to cheaper parking was much easier. Games are always entertaining with lots going on in and around the stadium. Would recommend firework display nights, as they're always awesome. Lots of police and security presence, never seen or had any major issues as many times as I've went, it's a safe and fun environment for the entire family. Ultimately, it could be a little more cost friendly when it comes to parking and refreshments, but, the stadium itself is an awesome place to catch a baseball game. ⚾️ Great memories here with my family and can't wait to make more.

It was the perfect night for baseball! Clear skies, sunny and warm into a perfect cool evening. Staff was helpful and accommodating. It was clean, bathrooms were clean. We sat in club seats and the club experience is amazing! Classic food offered such as peanuts, popcorn , hot dogs with chili, cheese, onions and all other condiments, available to take as much as you like! Plus they have chef options such as tacos and chicken with mashed potatoes, pasta alfredo and of course ice cream sandwiches and ice cream bars. The options are endless! You can stay inside and watch the game on multiple TVs so you never miss a minute! Everything is included with your ticket as well as non-alcoholic drinks. There is a full bar as well. The Indians winning in a 7 inning overtime was just the icing on the cake! Great! Fireworks and a nice t-shirt were included that evening!

Awesome place to go watch some baseball. Never had any issues with fans even when I'm rooting for my White Sox. I've only been over satisfied when attending a game at Progressive fied. The fireworks are like nothing I've ever seen anywhere else. Fireworks are a must see!!

As a Chicago Cubs fan, I always love coming to Progressive Field. The last time I visited was in November of 2016, and other than some rude Cleveland fans, everything was great. Especially us winning the Championship and Cleveland losing. Good times. Anyways. Lots of nice food options. We were with a handicap baseball fan and everyone was very helpful. Had a great time. Cleveland lost this game too but that's kind of what Cleveland does...

The staff at the progressive field itself was great. Very helpful and friendly. My 3 star is not a reflection on that part of the staffing at all, they were easily 5 stars The staff at the food service locations we visited, were 2 star at best. We easily ended up missing two innings of the game tonight because of the sheer lack of urgency or speed from every food vendor we visited. It was immensely frustrating and had we had better options, would have exercised them Stood in line to get a wild thing hot dog and had to not only tell the staff twice what I ordered but got to the counter to pay and they had ended up making the food of the people well behind us and forgetting my order. They had to be reminded after I paid and then they still were making orders for those who had just walked up. Terrible. Second, we went to barrio as someone in our party wanted nachos. After spending all of the second inning in line, once we got to place or order, there was absolutely zero sense of any urgency or speed from anyone in the booth. Most of the line behind us either got frustrated and left due to the wait times or just complained about the wait times. Given how much faster these games are being played with the new rules this year, the food service management group need to up their game. Was an immensely frustrating experience that really soured an overall decent night out for baseball.

This is such a lovely and amazing ballpark! The location is accessible from downtown and walkable for postgame bars and food. It is beautifully designed to sit and watch the game in a relaxed way. While on the other hand if you are looking for more lively atmosphere 'The Corner' has everything you need. Plenty of great food options and an overall great baseball experience! They also provide $1 hot dog nights, $2 beer, a free t-shirt and fireworks night.

I absolutely loved being here on Sunday watching them beat the Yankees. The stadium is beautiful and located downtown with easy access to Rocket Mortgage to watch the Cavs as well. They have all the modern amenities and you definitely won't go thirsty. Go Indians!

It was a fun night at a new ballpark watching the home team play the Jay's. Great crowd, mostly very respectful and everyone having a great time. Easy to get around, good seats, and visibility of the scoreboard. Only disappointment was the food. They ran out of a couple of more popular options at the local options and the rest of the choices were the usual fare. Loved the surrounding area, very comfortable walking back through downtown to our hotel after the game ended.

Clean and well-organized ballpark! There is the small park to show the history of Indians in the park which I really loved! In addition, the view is amazing. Many accessible parking spaces are available nearby the ball park!

This place has changed so much over the years, all in great ways. They keep making things fresh and better. Not a bad seat in the house. Food is expensive but that is to be expected. If you love baseball, this is the stadium for you! Tons of things to do and many great photo opportunities!! It will never be The Jake, but even with the changes, I love this place!!

A great place to see a ballgame! There are many good seating and standing options. There were some unique and delicious food choices. We tried two of the specialty dogs (the fruit loops topped dog is good! The peanut butter topped one not so much) and definitely get the giant pretzel and beer cheese. We enjoyed the statues and wall of Fame area (looking back at the greats who have played for them). We can't wait to go back and experience even more!

Great game and fireworks after the show were fantastic. Food was reasonably prices. We were able to bring in our own snacks. Parking can be pricey in the area. Check out the parking garages online first to find a better deal. Stadium was clean and staff was helpful. Check out the website for promotions for each night! Our tickets were online for $10 each, great price for the night.

I thought it was a very nice park, great views from many areas. The park itself seemed very clean. Concession lines were either small or fast from what I saw. Mobile ordering is available at many places, which helps reduce wait times and missing game action. Happy Dogs outside Section 159 is where you can find the unique hotdog choices that people have shared. Outside of Gate C, you have various player statues, and as you enter, there is a Jim Thome statue in the Center Field concourse. Speaking of, walk to your right and along the gates past Heritage Park in order to find the Jim Thome longest homerun plaque at 511 ft. To your immediate right in the Center Field concourse is Heritage Park, which has several plaques and statues remembering Cleveland's baseball history. Also to your left of Heritage Park are the bullpens. You can get a bird's-eye view of the players warming up. As a bonus before the game, stop by League Park, which is roughly 3 miles away (6601 Lexington). This was the original home to Cleveland baseball, location of the 1920 World Series, where Babe Ruth hit his 500th homerun & also many more historical moments in baseball. You can enjoy the park view for free, but there is a $10 charge if you want to explore their museum. For the game, we parked just off St. Clair, about half a mile from the stadium. Since it was Sunday, there was no charge for metered parking. If you don't mind a little walking, this is ideal, especially since prices near the stadium were $50. This location worked great for us as we were able to make a short walk over to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and then afterwards, it was about a mile walk up to the stadium. All in all, it was great weather, great game, and a fun experience. I hope you also enjoy your trip to Progressive Field, safe travels!

It's a good park.. At first look it felt big from the street.. But it's below street level and feels smaller inside with lots of nooks and spaces.. They do love there bars there but I had a good local ipa.. It's a good park to visit...

A great family evening out to experience the atmosphere & passion at a baseball live game. Tickets were about $20 each so quite affordable for a major league game. I was visiting from Ireland and went with friends from Cleveland. We went to see Cleveland Guardians play Cincinnati Cats. There were hot dogs, foam fingers, ice cream, beer, pizza, Guardian jerseys all available on the evening. And all staff and supporters were very friendly. Great American experience all round .

No defining features, but this is an all-around solid ballpark. Beautiful field and views. Location in downtown Cleveland is perfect for pregame festivities. Deck in the outfield is a great hangout spot. Manageable size and easy to navigate. Concessions and restrooms are accessible. Didn’t eat this time around but will update with a HOTDOG RATING after my next visit. Only minor complaint would be the line to enter, but that is to be expected when arriving during the first pitch.

My home ballpark! It’s such a beautiful park still to this day. Views are really good from almost anywhere (yes, even from the bleacher seats!!). Great way to get outside, have some fun, and sip on your drink of choice. The food on the lower mezzanine is awesome. Great local Cleveland joints scattered throughout. However the upper deck food section is mostly traditional ballpark style food… and it’s not that great of quality either in all honesty. The standing room only and terrace views are awesome especially if you’re looking for cheap fun! Family section will keep your squirmish and high energy kids occupied for the whole game with all kinds of activities, while still providing great views from the right and center field. Keep in mind during 7:10pm starts the sun will be in your face for first few innings if you sit along 1st baseline. Same goes for right field seats during 1:10pm and 4:10pm start times. 3rd baseline is mostly in the shade after about 6pm.

This was my 21st current ballpark. Considering many aspects, it might be the best one I've been to. No bad seats, reasonable ticket prices, good location not hard to reach, nice views, moderate prices, excellent main concourse with plenty of field views. Highly recommend.

A great stadium 🏟️. We pick a stadium each year to visit, when our team, the Blue Jays play and this year 2023, was Cleveland OH. Beautiful stadium, with many food and drink vendors. Team shops all around the main level. We purchased tickets to the Drug Mart Club. It was great. Comfortable seats, in a covered area. The club includes food and non alcoholic drinks. There was a wonderful buffet with , pulled pork, pizza, pasta, salads, tacos, jerk chicken, wings, hamburgers , hot dogs, ice cream, popcorn and more! All fresh and delicious. Alcohol beverages available for purchase, beers and coolers. Friendly staff, well organized. We really enjoyed the day!

First time here and at the final home game in 2023, which was awesome. Bittersweet with Terry Francona retiring but a great day, great game, and probably one of the most fan-friendly parks I've ever been to. Come visit. 👍⚾

Today is The Kentucky Derby, The hats were awesome and the amount of people in attendance was phenomenal. The Band sounds great and they had a good range of food to offer on food trucks

I enjoyed my birthday lunch at the buffet. The staff sang Happy Birthday and presented me with birthday cake and ice cream. 🍰 🎈 If you love apple pie or strudel get some with vanilla bean ice cream with warm caramel topping. 😋 Cece was our server who made sure we felt special and catered to. Well done. She is truly a people person.

This was a great place and my first time visiting. The food at the bar was delicious and the drinks were great. Although I'm not a gambler the slots were really fun. Can't wait to go back.

I'm not a gambler; I went to the MGM Northfield Center Stage to see Gary Clark, Jr. - AMAZING concert with an unforgettable performance from him! I was able to grab great seats for this event and it was money well spent. The staff was very organized and helpful and the stage itself allowed for great first/second row visibility without too much neck strain or discomfort. The ONLY reason why I can't give it five stars is because of the seat spacing: we were packed in there like sardines. Even though the seats themselves were comfortable the neighboring concertgoers and myself all had to shift ourselves a bit too often to accommodate for the lack of space.

Disclaimer: Don't gamble YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING That being said I had a wonderful stop here and enjoyed myself for a little longer than I expected. Lots of machines, new and old. Came in with $300 left with $1200 hitting my biggest single win to date. once I doubled my bank roll the high limits room was where the money was at that morning. Fantastic show and food. Went to see a comedian Tom Sugura. Best show of all his specials. Absolutely hilarious the entire time.

Went to see Tom Jones Concert. Seats are basically folding chairs and somewhat narrow. They do not control the crowd as we had lots of people up and down the aisle throughout the performance. The casino area is small but definitely has lots of tables and slots.

I'm not a big casino person, but the club is beautiful and many beautiful people were there. I attended with a friend the Chaka Khan concert. The staff treated us well and security was very visible. The concert ended without a hitch. For the casino part, the casino has all the expected amenities and get this--free parking!

I always leave my money behind with a smile on my face. Eventually I my leave will some money in my pocket. TAP Sports Bar is spot on food and service every time. Well worth the trip.

Loved it this time I won. Lol but in all truthfulness was clean but they don't have many of the keno machines we like I feel you should have the choice to play 1-4 on every machine or at least all the keno on one machine, so I don't have to try and hop around to try and find a machine to my liking.

Always a fun place to gamble. This casino does NOT have card tables, just slots. Has a couple restaurants, a bar, and complimentary coffee and soda. Plenty of parking, the parking lot is lit up pretty good at night. As always casinos are designed to take your money, but you do get lucky once in a while.

This Buffet just opened up about 4 weeks ago. The selection of good is really fantastic and was beyond our expectations. The chefs were amazing, and they knew their food selection really well, and when you they explained it to you in detail Chef Red by far is the best at this buffet and has excellent cooking skills and customer service

Concert/event venue located directly inside of the casino. Purchased last minute tickets to a concert I really wanted to see. This was our first time at this venue. The security and staff directed the crowd through the various site safety measures with ease. There really was not a bad seat in the house. Here are some pics from our seating - section 2 row X. Seats were a little tight and you will certainly make friends with a neighbor pretty quickly. Lots of getting up and sitting down. Narrow isles. Alcohol, water and typical concert snacks were available. Free parking.

What a night!! Saw George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic. AMAZING show. Crowd filled with the energy the band was exuding. So glad I got to see this incredible band.

It was great. We ate at the buffet which was much better than expected. We then watched Kurt Diemer followed by Tesla. Very nice venue. I'll be sure to check out who else is playing there. Great evening

What a phenomenal experience. We had such a blast here. It is a super nice place, well laid out displays, plenty of room to move around and interact with displays. It has 3 floors with elevators if needed. Seats are spaced out occasionally to take a break. Nice little cafe at the end. All the employees from the front desk to the store were simply wonderful, very welcoming. Great experience I would recommend to anyone.

A little on the pricey side but…. Oh man, my trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Ohio was EPIC! From the moment I walked in, it was all good vibes. The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home. Bro, let me tell you, this place is like a football heaven! They've got all the cool stuff from the olden days to the latest highlights. The exhibits were boss, showing off the best players, the sickest moments, and how the game has evolved over time. And don't even get me started on the Hall of Fame gallery - that's where the legends live, man! I gotta give props to the Hall of Fame for keeping the history of football alive. They paid tribute to not only the big shots but also the unsung heroes and everyone who's contributed to the sport. It's all about respect, man! And you know what's even better? The place was clean and easy to get around. They had signs everywhere, so I didn't get lost like a noob.

I've never been to any other pro sport hall of fame but it's hard to believe they'd be any better than this. If you're into NFL football in the least way you will love this place. Plan on 3 to 4 hours at a minimum to even scratch the surface of all that's here. They have a tremendous complex in Canton. It's not just the hall there's a stadium ,artificial turf field that you can walk , and many other shopping and dining opportunities in the immediate area. I recommend it to any and all NFL fans. Adult entry is $42 per person but discounts can be had for as little as $10 if you go on Tuesdays which are senior days and your senior of course. Check their website for all the different discount rates that are available that help to make it more affordable. Also they don't advertise it much but this is also the home of the black college football Hall of Fame as well. Many interesting and historical artifacts to be found here.

I haven't been here sometime but it's definitely evolving. It was awesome experience I been coming here since I was kid. Tickets are 40 dollars which isn't bad. Staff is very helpful the sports shop is cool. The history behind this is placed great layout on telling the NFL story. The outside field is good for taking pictures as well as inside the museum. Turn down brightness on phone its glare in most pictures from glass. The shrine headstones are badass. The Cafe inside is convenient. It takes about 2 hrs to get good pictures and see everything. The Super Bowl glass trophy room is nice. The parking was bit tight. Madden room is awesome telling the story. I would definitely come back here again and again. 5 stars GO PATS see you soon Brady!

If you are a football fan, this place is worth visiting. What an experience! Bought our tickets in advance online expecting a crowd. Thankfully there was no wait. The gift shop has affordable items. 2 floors of amazing memorabilia. Stayed all day and toured the entire building.

This was a fantastic experience! The flow of the museum is easy to follow and leads you through the history of professional football from the beginning. It includes plenty of old uniforms, leather helmets and other items from the very early days as well as memorabilia from more recent players. The section with the busts of inductees is spacious enough that it's easy to get pictures of your favorite players. There are also some entertaining interactive exhibits and a cool locker room holographic film. Even my football indifferent family enjoyed themselves.

A must see if you like football or enjoy history. It has the best actual Hall of Fame of all them. The busts are really cool. The museum is also well done. You need at least 2 hours if you really appreciate football.

My kiddo is a huge football fan & was in football heaven! The museum has a great combination of interactive exhibits, memorabilia, & and history--so fun for all ages. Interactive exhibits included computerized activities, a brief historical movie, xboxes (with Madden Football), & other technological touches throughout the museum. A highlight for my boy was the opportunity to play football on the field they have on-site. We all had a great time.

What a cool experience. I was pleasantly surprised at how big this place is and how much there is to see. And I loved the interactive things like the molds of players arms/legs and the play call booth. I'm glad I got to go. And the staff/volunteers are all so pleasant too.

A must see for any Professional Football fan from the ages of 5-95. An amazing collection of NFL memorabilia from the early 1900’s all the way through the current day. A very well put together exhibit at a very reasonably price. U can see the entire exhibit/museum in approximately 4 hours (without rushing & assuming it’s not crowded). I highly recommend getting there at 9 a.m. when they open this way you have the entire day to explore & enjoy it without being rushed. The Bust’s in the Bust room ARE A MUST SEE. TRULY SPECTACULAR!! There are also 2 theaters which are both really cool. One is interactive with holograms & the other is a 8-9 min. movie about the road to the super bowl. If your ever in Ohio or the greater Canton area and are on the fence of visiting, don’t cheat yourself & definitely take the time out to go visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame., you won’t be disappointed.

Went on a weekend that was not busy and got to see all the exhibits with no problem. The staff is super nice, helpful, & informative. Even a not so big football fan would enjoy.

An excellent museum of pro football for the individual or families that are interested in pro football. It is set up with plenty of interesting facts. The first female official, the first African American to officiate the Superbowl, and many other firsts along with arguably the greatest of players, coaches and supporting members along with equipment improvement and time of evolution.

Absolute once-in-a-lifetime experience that was very well worth it and really hope to be back again! Was able to tour for over 4 hours and still had some areas left over!!

A fantastic time for any football fan. Lots to see. Give yourself at least 3-4 hours. Tip: Also kids admission is cheaper on Thursdays if you buy when you get there.

Loved this place. Great place to learn more about the sport and see some of its past and present. Super helpful staff at every point. Food in the restaurant is good too . The hof store is well stocked and staff really nice and helpful. Pre warning. You will need all day here unless local. We are from the uk and got there about lunchtime and it's not enough time. So we rushed a fair bit toward the end which is a shame.

We did the overnight ghost tour of the main building from 9pm - 4:30am! I would highly recommend doing this tour and I can't wait to come back! We are from NC and decided it was worth the drive to come here and go through this tour! The tour did not disappoint! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helped guide us through each floor! We only had 2 hours per floor but loved every second of this tour and the experience! I would highly recommend visiting at least once!

I've been wanting to go here for years after hearing so many interesting stories, and was glad I finally got to go! We did the Criminally Insane tour which gave quite a bit of info I didn't already know. Savannah, our tour guide, was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. The place is definitely more of a history visit during the day, but man I hope I can visit again during Halloween one year!

I went on the four floor historic tour. The tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. It was really cool to see how they renovated some parts to replicate what it looked like back when the hospital was open. I would definitely come back to do the other offered tours and definitely would recommend this place for people to come visit There was only one downside to my visit that was no way the business's fault. The tour group I was in had a group of friends that were photographers. They definitely held up the tour multiple times and weren't paying attention to what the guide was saying. They were focused more on getting photos. It was kinda annoying especially when the place offers photography tours. So this is more of a bring to attention for future visitors. If you're more interested in taking photos then learning about the history of the place please take the photographer tour not the historical tour.

Was about a 2 hour tour. Our family definitely thought it was cool. Very informative. Building was very interesting. Can't say enough. Would like to return for another tour.

We did the daytime VIP tour and it was so much fun! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about not only the history of the building and grounds, but the surrounding town as well. The VIP tour was perfect because it had a bit of everything as far as history and spooky stories. We got to see a good bit of the asylum and the old civil war wing. The museum rooms downstairs were perfectly curated and gave a real sense of what life may have been like for the patients of the asylum. The tour guide did not shy away from the sometimes brutal treatment of the patients by staff and did a great job of respecting the memory of the patients who once lived in the Asylum. The renovated area on the second floor is absolutely beautiful. They've taken great care to preserve the building in a safe way. There is a good amount of walking, my step counter showed we walked about a 3/4 of a mile, do wear comfortable shoes! We will definitely be back!

Savannah (hopefully got the spelling right!) Is the best tour guide my friends and I could have asked for our visit. Very friendly, super knowledgeable, and all around awesome person. The asylum itself was so full of history and the building itself was a delight to walk through and learn about.

I have done three (3) overnight paranormal investigations at Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, all of which were amazing experiences. Yesterday, I took my first daytime tours which were also my first guided tours. I took a tour of the Criminally Insane building and the VIP tour of the main building. John and Amy were both very knowledgeable, down to earth, and entertaining. I learned things I never knew from both. I absolutely love this building and all of its inhabitants, and the guides made me love it even more.

Our guides Brad and Amy were awesome on the Discover the Asylum tour. They had so much history and knowlege!! Definitely recommend!

Missed the tour because we arrived into town late but I will definitely be returning. Got to walk around the grounds. Very interesting and majestic looking.

Awesome tour. We took the 90 min. Historical tour. Very informative. Talk of the history of the asylum, treatments, architecture etc. guide told a few of the “ghost “ stories, but only after asking us (we were the only guests on the tour.). Tickets are purchase at the door as first come first served. Recommend getting there at least 30-40 minutes early and know which tour you want (description are on the website) After getting tickets you can look at the museum and gift shop while you wait. Both are really well done. Also, the asylum is not heated or air conditioned so dress accordingly!

A great historical building! The museum is amazing and the gift shop is affordably priced. The Daytime paranormal tour was pretty interesting; our guide was very informative and answered all our questions.

Absolutely stunning!!!! Took my daughter here for the paranormal tour, after getting there she talked in into both the paranormal and the history tour because of wanting to see the morgue. Prices are fair and the tour guides are amazing. We had Alyssa (paranormal)and Jessica (4th floor and history),I have to say best tour guides I’ve ever had. The asylum is so interesting from the first time entering the doors feeling the heaviness of the past, to leaving with the knowledge of what happened there. We toured the complete hospital between the two tours and was still ready for more. We really enjoyed it. 10 stars if I could.

I absolutely loveeeee TALA! It is my favorite place, the building is gorgeous inside and out. I have done many tours ( all they have to offer ) - the tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. You can get lost in this building for hours. We have also visited during the Halloween haunt / attractions for the last several years and as someone who is at a different haunt every weekend during the season, TALA is my favorite for sure! They have come a long way! 10/10 recommend! ** wear comfortable walking shoes!!! **

It was a dark and stormy day… Please forgive the cliche, but that’s how you would describe the weather the day we toured the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum (TALA). Absolutely perfect weather! We had some time to kill, so we decided to take a couple of tours at the TALA, of which there are many to choose from. We intended to focus on the Paranormal Tour, which is 90 minutes long, but had almost a full hour before that tour would start. So, we opted to fill out time with the 45 minute historical tour. Rose, our guide, was exceptional, and she knew the answers to all our questions, and never once said, “I’ll have to get back to you.” She was a fount of knowledge, and a delight to hang with. This tour focused on the origins of the hospital/asylum, the highlights of its darkest and brightest days, and what lead to it being abandoned, and later bought by private citizens for historical purposes. This tour was enjoyable, and we learned some astounding facts about life at the TALA, especially in the early years. Our next tour was the Paranormal, which focused on the—unexplained. I’m not a hard “no” when it comes to the supernatural, but I’m not an easy sell, either. Let me say this: if ever there was a building haunted by its past, this would be it! The tour almost completely avoided the history of the building, and focused on the more colorful historical accounts that lead to hauntings and ghost sightings. We toured every floor in this behind the scenes exposure, and we loved every moment! To our delight, our guide, Alysa, greatly reminded us of Wednesday Adams, but was eager to answer questions and offer some interesting interpretations of the unexplainable. We did NOT see any haunts, but there were rooms that were creepier than others, and I’m leaning toward reluctance if asked to spend the night by myself! They had a collection of photos snapped by tourists that were certainly compelling, to say the least. The weather made our trip amazing, but Alysa made it legendary. Somehow, she seemed to possess the ability to anticipate blasts of thunder, and timed her deliveries with impactful timing! If I could, I’d return on Halloween—but only if she could be our tour guide again. #todaysdiscovery #traviswinmanauthor

This Asylum is somewhat spooky. Visited the History tour for 90 minutes for 4 floors and the Guide John have explained it nicely. This Asylum has much history. We need to sign waiver before starting the tour. Tour prices are good and reasonable.

This place is pretty cool and has a lot of activity. I was touched several times on the 3rd floor after asking if anyone would like candy and Coca Cola. It felt like I was stuck in the back with a sewing needle in the criminally insane ward, heard shuffling feet behind me in the geriatric ward, my friend was talking to the little girl in the room with all the toys via her EMF reader, and few more experiences. Didn’t get to see the creeper though even after I went in his room. A must visit if you like paranormal experiences. Remember to walk quietly and don’t speak unless you’re trying to communicate. The staff was great too, very knowledgeable and helpful. Please listen to them closely so you know what and where the latest activity is.

My husband and i did the Paranormal tour with Alyssa. She did a phenomenal job with the tour. She was thorough with explaining the history of each wing and its permanent residents 👻. 10/10 would come again.

Interesting tour. We did the four floor historical tour with Jade. Even though we weren't there for the paranormal, I think I picked up an orb on one of the stair cases. Can't wait to go back for a private investigation

Took the VIP tour with Greg as our tour guide, and it was great! The tour ended up being close to 3 hours and covered a good mix of paranormal, history, events/incidents, and more! I got to the asylum around 11am and bought my ticket at the door, and had to wait until 12pm for the tour to start, but this gave me ample time to take pictures of the grounds and exterior and to explore the museum inside! I would highly recommend touring this place! As a side note, it was so cool driving into Weston, WV and seeing the foreboding building from the highway; I got super excited just seeing it and pulling up!

Can I give more than 5 stars! I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and the history! Many tours to choose from. We did 1st floor north. I wish we had time for more. Traveling back to PA we stopped in. There is a museum to check out while you wait for your tour. Rose was very knowledgeable! The information that was provided was informative and interesting. We started with a tour on the first floor through the criminally insane unit. Rose was very informative. She knew the history of the building and she knew the history of what the nurses and the staff did in the building. Unfortunately, we had to hear about the sad history of lobotomies being performed. A very educational experience. I plan to return and tour some of the other areas. There is a gift shop available with some interesting purchases to take home! This is a must stop

I visited for the first time right before Halloween, and will definitely be back next year. The haunted house was nice and long with many different scare elements, so you never know what’s around the next corner. The 3 flashlight ghost tours were extremely interesting and exciting.

Worth every penny you spend here, definitely plan your trip to spend a few hours their and i recommend to NOT take the last tour because i dont know how much time you will have to explore their small museum after. It took me about an hour to see everything after my tour,if you take the last tour you may not have time to explore after just a heads up. Also I recommend to take all the tours they have meaning to do the paranormal tour and do the 4 floor tour, I only did the 4 floor tour and there were areas we couldn't go because it was for the paranormal tour only. A super part of history and 1000 percent recommend ! Have fun !

Great spot to visit in Pittsburgh if you want that panoramic view of the city. Indeed breathtaking! Parking is provided and within good walking distance. Just didn't like the fact that you had to have the exact cash to provide, although there was a coin machine to swap out your bills just in case. Overall good experience

Ride the cable car At Duquesne Incline and see the best views of downtown Pittsburgh So whenever you see pictures of Pittsburgh, I am sure you are looking it downtown with and cable car in the foreground. it is easily one of the best things to do in Pittsburgh. From the cars, there are great views out over the city. Once used to transport workers all the way back since the 1800s. they are still using two original 1877 cable cars, the Duquesne Incline is a working museum, with the upper station providing photos and displays on the history of the incline. at the top, you can also see the working mechanism, wheel, and all. I don't know if it is the norm, but there was a guide in our cabin and he gave a brief idea about incline history, and how it come into the picture. Duquesne Incline was rescued and restored by a group of local residents in 1963 and still delights residents and visitors with its original, elegant, wooden cable cars Parking: $10 and that's valid for 24 hours. Parking is more expensive than tickets which are just $5. You don't pay at the counter, you put the exact amount in a cylindrical box (nobody checks what you are putting in the container). a counter lady comes in a while and shoves it with a stick. i have never seen a system like this. if you want to experience a slice of the city’s long history, go for it.

Very beautiful and historic place. The incline has been running since the 1800's. Its been a must see location in Pittsburgh for many years. My son and I went for our 1st but not last visit. The views of the city are spectacular. Many different ways to get great photos. On the cable car and at the top on the observation deck. At the top there are lots of exhibits that outline some of the history of the incline and cars. It also depicts interesting history of Pittsburgh. It is so cheap that a family could afford this fun and educational excursion. Ill definately be back with more of my family. Take cash and exact change. A round trip for 2 adults is $10. They are friendly and nice enough to let you go ahead and ride. You can get change at the top. Either from the gift shop or an ATM.

whoa! this is such a unique experience. Its definitely the more historic-feeling of the 2 inclines. Both inclines are wonderful but I love the vintage nuance of Duquesne. Just keep it functional and absolutely preserve the wabi sabi aesthetic pls Pittsburgh, otherwise don't change anything - its beautiful! thx

This is a an essential stop! Parking is quick and easy, wait time isn't long at all, and photos will never do this view justice.

Rode the incline up and down as part of an excellent sightseeing tour offered by Molly's Trolleys. There is a panoramic view at the top of Pittsburgh from the north side. The ride is in a no-frills vintage car and there are antique photos in the waiting area.

A must do for visitors to Pittsburgh. Take yourself back to the past when this was common transportation up and down the mountain. Awesome view of the City from the top. $5 roundtrip. Exact change cash only.

Really nice place but a bit expensive...the feel of the ride is awesome...you need to pay for parking for nearly $10 and for the price available on the website.

Absolutely stunning park. Gorgeous backdrop of the famous and jaw dropping Pittsburgh Skyline full with Yellow Bridges and all. Decent atmosphere at game, fans were slow to start, however as the game progressed, the game became more and more exciting. The two teams, (Hometown Pirates, and the Visiting Atlanta Braves) delivered a great performance coming down to the wire in the 9th inning. Would 100% recommend for the view alone. The baseball is an added bonus.

We went to see the Cubs play.. WOW..great ball park! The interaction with the fans was great and so inviting. The fans had such team spirit and showed great sportsmanship as well. Did not disappoint.. the fireworks after the game where freaking amazing! Best show I had ever seen! Thank you Pittsburgh for a great weekend!

Fabulous park! Really nice! Well designed and great seats! Not a bad seat in the park! My only criticism is the concession stands are a bit slow.. With ball games now with time limits on pitching etc, you can miss a lot of the game getting food and drinks. Still, first world problems...

My wife and I went on the PNC park stadium tour. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable of all aspects about the teams history and all of the parks history. Being in the dugout and checking out the suites and the press box was super cool. I can't wait to catch my first Pirates game this year!

Visited in 2012. It still ranks in my top 3 baseball stadiums, I've ever visited! The concourse is amazing, tons of food options, & the outside of the stadium, has some of the coolest statues you'll see! The stadium has great views of the city, the bridges beside it, add to the experience! Beautiful stadium!

I was asked what I wanted to do for my birthday a couple of months ago. My answer was go to a Pirates game or Mexico. I was thrilled when my birthday came and my love sent me a picture of my Pirate ticket. We arrived and parked with no problem in parking lot 2 gold walked to a little bar outside the park and had a cold beverage while waiting to get in the park. The staff checking all of the fans in were pleasant,polite and helpful. The selection and ease of purchasing snacks and beverages was one of the great parts of my experience as I did not miss but a few moments of the game while using the facilities. Section 119 row DD seat 1 and 2 is where we sat I loved the crow and would sit in that section again. In reality I would love to attend as many home games as there are but will most likely make it a yearly tradition to get a game around my birthday again. This was the most fun I have had as a birthday adventure in years.

PNC is always a great venue, whether for a Pirates game or concert. Seats are tapered nicely to give everybody a good view. Everything is pretty clean and the food is good. Minus one star for prices. They gouge pretty deep for beers and mixed drinks. Otherwise a great establishment.

Not the first time I've been to PNC Park. Always a great experience. Great park, awesome view, friendly staff. Tickets for where we sat were a great value, talking bucket list kind of stuff, for a decent price. Being an Orioles fan, I'm used to a great stadium. I'm biased as OPACY is the best but you'll never go wrong here! Only downfall is the price of concessions but what was offered was an amazing selection. I'll be back many times and I urge everyone to take in a game here!

We went to a Dodger/Pirates game and it was a great experience. I took a 22 year old and a 2 yo. The park was clean, Well staffed, and easy to get around. I felt very safe the entire time. Staff was awesome about upgrading our seats - I was worried the 2yo would fall as we were pretty high up. However the upper deck seats were beautiful with a view of the game and the city. People around us were also there just to have a good time. Food and drinks were a bit pricey, but that's to be expected and way cheaper than back in the bay area. There are a lot of cheap parking options well within walking distance. Loved all the little restaurants and pubs with open and outdoor seating right outside the park piping the game through speakers. Pittsburgh deserves a better reputation!

After growing up here and having season tickets for years to Three Rivers then moving away, this was my first trip to either new stadium. It is fantastic. There really isn’t a bad seat in the place and would definitely go back and purchase a standing room only seat and just wander. Easy in and out from all gates, good food.

Club seats are the best! If you are thinking of going to a Pirate game, spend the extra money and get club seats. The seats are padded and the environment is fantastic. It is worth every penny. First, the crowds are much smaller in the club seating area. There are short lines for food, and the food choices are great. Second, the restrooms are clean, much cleaner than the normal restrooms. It has a clubhouse atmosphere and it is all air conditioned inside. We sat in Section 209, row A seats 1 and 2 and they were great. We had a fantastic view of the game, and went it when we needed a break from the heat. There were no rowdy crowds, and you can get a table inside and watch the game for a bit while you are eating, or taking a break from the sun. I think the best part about the club seating is that the seats are padded. You can sit, watch the game, and never get uncomfortable. It was a great experience and one of the best ways to beat the crowds and to have good amenities. The tickets are a bit more, but you will have a great experience.

Awesome ball park and atmosphere! Even though the team itself is not very good, the stadium gets a solid crowd of dedicated fans. There is a lot of places to eat and drink at, especially Manny’s BBQ owned by Pirates legend Manny Sanguillan. Sometimes you can even meet Manny in front of his place for a picture and an autograph! Everyone that works at the stadium that I interacted with was extremely friendly. The man at the ticket window even took his time to look for an aisle seat for me! They also have a lot of activities for kids on the first level, including a big playground overlooking the River. I purchased tickets the day of game at the ticket window. There are a few parking decks around. Many hobos begging for change line the walk to the stadium. All around a modern and awesome stadium and a fun place to watch a ball game! Hope this helps! I recently had the pleasure of attending a Pittsburgh Pirates game at PNC Park and must say that it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked through the gates, I was struck by the stunning views of the city skyline and the river. The stadium itself is clean, modern, and designed with the fan in mind. I was pleased with the amenities available, including a variety of concession stands, comfortable seating, and a great selection of merchandise. The atmosphere was electric, with passionate fans cheering on their team and the staff doing an excellent job of keeping everyone engaged. The game itself was intense, with both teams putting on a great show. The Pirates put up a good fight but ultimately lost to their opponents. Despite this, I had an absolutely amazing time and would highly recommend attending a game at PNC Park to anyone who loves baseball or wants to experience the excitement of a top-notch stadium.

A beautiful day for baseball. Parked at Ft. Duquesne deck and walked across Clemente Bridge into the ballpark. Great sight lines. Other than Primanti Bros. the food was average. Bathrooms are kind of hidden.

Not a huge baseball fan, but I love the ball park! Everything is layed out so well, and if you do get lost or turned about, the staff are always willing to help!! The staff really makes the park top notch!!

My visit to PNC Park was enjoyable! The park & restrooms were very clean. The park staff were very engaging. Entering and leaving the stadium was a breeze. We were able to find convenient parking nearby for a reasonable price. THEN we walked to the casino for dinner, which wasn't a far walk at all! There are plenty of other dining options around the park as well as other activities if you are looking to make a full day of it! We are fortnate to have such great sports teams in Pittsburgh & wonderful venues to enjoy them in!

PNC Park actually lives up to the hype. All seats are great, people are friendly and food was very good. I loved all the Roberto Clemente stuff. Wish I could have seen him play.

Absolutely beautiful ball park. The atmosphere is great and the view overlooking the downtown is incredible. Is definitely one of top 3 ballparks in the states. I would recommend any baseball fan to come visit. The game was followed by a 30 minute firework display that rivals Canada Day or 4th of July celebrations

I have wanted to come here for years! I finally made it! It is a great place to visit! It is stunning! My only wish is I could live here for awhile. Amazing place, it is a work of art! Great work of architecture! Love the floating terraces. Good hike and exercise trails for me but not for old people who has difficulty walking on rough grounds. Knowing the history of the house and the owners is an honor. When going wear comfortable clothing's and shoes. 👟

Absolutely stunning in every aspect. You will not be disappointed. I booked the in-depth tour and while $90 to tour a house may seem steep it was worth every penny. Our tour guide was incredible and went over so many small details about the property and Frank Lloyd’s vision.

The space in the history is breathtaking. To see and feel how the elements enter twine and then remember that this house was built in the 30s is remarkable. This space is peaceful and well-kept. The visitor center before you get to work on this space is astonishing. The foundation does a wonderful job of maintaining the simplicity and the complexity. We missed the Inside tour but walking on the premises and the hidden paths I realized that this house has been here for over 50 years - it's magical.

A really amazing experience. Seeing pictures and videos cannot do this place justice. The harmony created with nature, and a man-made structure is perfectly balanced. We went on a 30F day in November, but still felt I could imagine what a summer day felt like here with the windows open, and a nice breeze. The grounds are beautiful, and relatively untouched. The home is setback far enough that you’re secluded, and there’s no noise (except the falls). Our guide was Brandon L., and he was great. We opted for the earpiece, which was also very convenient. Nice gift shop.

Beautiful home and grounds. The views are absolutely breathtaking. We got to tour the inside of the house and the inside is just as amazing as the outside. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny. I highly recommend getting tickets in advance, they sell out a lot. The gift shop had some interesting things and the Cafe had good food.

The mecca to some of the great Frank Lloyd Wright. This house was an amazing sight to see and the landscape and surroundings just made the experience so much better. I've been to about three or four of his houses that he has designed and this one right here just really brought nature into the house and really made everything seem fluid. The creek and waterfall can be felt all throughout the house whether it is sight sound smell sometimes touch. You really get the sense of being in nature in a house like this as everything is designed to bring the outside in. On top of the house itself you can also walk the grounds and see other points of interest as well. There are some Trails you can walk in other viewpoints of the house which is highly encouraged. It is up in the mountains in the woods and I was fortunate enough to get the full experience of going there during a huge rainstorm but then having the skies clear once the tour started. So to say the least "falling water" was very literal that day. Well worth the price of admission and a must-see of Frank Lloyd Wright lovers

A shining example of just one of Frank Lloyd Wrights many accomplishments! Absolutely loved the guided tour, everything was covered in depth and with a wonderful personality! A beautiful setting and easy to find (despite it is out in the middle of nowhere) would highly recommend to anyone but especially architecture aficionados.

We love it here! Highly recommend the inside tour at least once. If tickets aren't available, the outside grounds are just as interesting. This last time we toured it was late Fall - still gorgeous & picturesque. The gift shop has unique items - make sure to check it out as well.

Fallingwater is an absolute gem to visit! We purchased our tickets in advance for a specific time slot and had zero wait time, as our tour started punctually. Earpiece radios allowed us to hear our knowledgeable tour guide during all times, giving us freedom to explore a bit around the property as she spoke. The visitors center was easy to navigate and was very beautiful. The gift shop had gorgeous souvenirs!

This place is one of kind. A beautiful nature walk to a true wonder. The visitor center seemed so calm and peaceful. it's an open roof in the woods. Even the mens room was beautiful. You can take guided tours, but it seems you have to book in advance, but for $15, you can walk the grounds on your own and still see the beauty. The cafe was really good and eating out in the lobby of the visitors center was very peaceful. I'm definitely glad to go. It is highly recommended to check out.

It was a dream of mine since I first studied Architecture to see Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece. And it didn't disappoint. Make sure to see his ingenious corner window detail. Fully integrated with nature.

This is a world famous building! A must see if you are in the area. We went in late February on Presidents Day. It was a beautiful day. We just had a timed walking pass. This means you just walk around the gardens and around the outside of the house. The actual map they give you is a bit rubbish as their are no physical markers on the ground to correspond with the letters on the map. Also paths etc were closed for maintenance. It was obviously ‘off season’ so a lot of maintenance was taking place. The restrooms were not functioning so there were portapotties. The gift shop and reception area were closed too. However the building was great! What an amazing building!! The gardens are perfect. It’s a really great stop over and the whole area itself is amazing

We had Linda as a guide. Wow, was she knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was about an hour long, and she successfully answered questions by all. You can tell she has a true love for Falling Water. I don't understand the complaints. All you simply need to do is READ the website. It lists all the rules, and guidelines. Nothing asked of us was outlandish. Preserving the home for all to see in the future is best. It was our second time visiting, the first time was in the early 1990's. It's amazing how well kept and cared for the home is. Such an amazing place to visit!

Fabulous location. Gluten free lunch at the cafe. Museum is beautiful. Art gallery is amazing. Bathrooms are gorgeous and clean. Grounds are stunning. Linda our tour guide was wonderful. Such a soothing voice. The house is unbelievable. So grateful they opened it up for tours. What a remarkable legacy. Would visit again.

A must see if you're in the area, even if you're not an architecture buff. Beautiful house and grounds. Very good tour guides. Take the time to walk the trail back to the Visitors Center. Some very interesting outdoor sculptures along the path. They could do a much better/faster job in the Cafe at the Visitors center but warning there are not a lot of good food options near Fallingwater. If you're in the area already, take the time to visit Kentuck Knob just a short distance away. It's a very different but terrific visit experience.

Visited for the exterior only tour twice. Can walk around and see inside through windows easily enough. One of the exterior terraces with a great view inside can also be accessed unless preservation work is in progress. Don't forget to take a walk to the Paradise Overlook, a beautiful scene with the sound and sight of the Youghiogheny River!

Amazing house. What a breathtaking experience this house. Frank Lloyd Wright did a superb job making the house blend into nature and the whole thing be cantilever is astonishing. I had heard of this house before but hadn't taken the time to visit until now and I wasn't disappointed. I can understand why it is so beloved and really appreciate that it is being so well maintained. The tour guide was excellent and she really gave us great insight into the family and the history of the building. There are some trails to walk around as well if you wanted to spend more time there. Highly recommended!

I honestly had no idea what to expect going here, but since my childhood, I always hoped I'd make it here. Every facet of the experience seems to have been addressed to make it excellent in every way. From the entrance, the welcome center, beverage center, gift shop, walking tour host with Bluetooth headset, walking tour of the house and grounds, and even umbrellas. Thank you to the caretakers and overseers of the organization! This was everything to fill my heart, interest in art, architecture, nature, and hippie vibe, all wrapped up in one place!

It is simply amazing that Frank Loyd Wright designed Fallingwater in 1935 as a vacation home for the Kaufmann family. This home is stunning. It’s unfortunate that it’s undergoing renovations that will last the next three years however, it’s better to see it maintained then neglected the ground surrounding the house are beautiful for short hikes. It’s very peaceful and calm. This has been a bucket list Item to see so very happy I made it out here. Went on a Sunday and there was hardly anyone here. Felt like we had the entire area to ourselves. Definitely recommend.

Built in the early thirties of the 1900’s as a getaway from EVERYTHING “Cottage” or Vacation Home, unbelievable advanced architecture and use of space and nature… I was very impressed to say the least! Quite the drive to get there but for me and my “Inspired” Son, it was definitely worth it.

Flight 93 national memorial is easy to get to but off the beaten path. Plenty of free parking and handicapped accessible. The tower of voices you should come to first, if you didn’t don’t worry, we missed them coming in because gps took us to another route but still got to the memorial. Plenty of space. Don’t forget to get a program which details all about the tragedy. There’s a lot to walk so wear a good pair of shoes. We did the winding trail up to the view platform and I had on flip flops. It can be done which I proved but my feet, ugh! Everything is free. You can leave a note in the shelter for the victim’s families. Very beautiful place. Very well done and looked after. There are historians there to answer questions and tell the story. There are bathrooms on the premises. Camper parking was available as well.

This is an experience that I think k everyone should see. Went into the visitors center and felt a crazy calm in the facility. They actually have some recordings from the event available for you to listen to on headphones. The memorial plaza is closer to the crash site. There is a bridge, and you can hear the wind hum through the rails. The experience is melancholy 😢.

Amazing, somber, surreal experience. They documented everything in an easy to follow timeline, just beautiful displays in the visitor center. Very good tribute to those fallen and left behind that day. I could not help but tear up and have goosebumps reliving my experience and emotions on that day. Highly recommended for education and remembering the brave 40 who lost their lives due to the 4 hijackers.

We spent almost 2-1/2 hours here. It was amazing. Make sure you sit on the bench at the tower of voices. Take your time going through and really take everything in. This has to be one of the most memorable memorials. The flight path can bring you to your knees. It definitely humbles you.

The design of the memorial is thoughtful and respectful, with a pathway leading to the Wall of Names, where each victim's name is inscribed on individual panels, facing the crash site. Walking through the memorial, the sense of sacrifice and loss is palpable, yet there is also a strong feeling of unity and resilience. The Visitor Center provides a detailed account of the events, personal stories, and artifacts that deepen the understanding of the day's events. The peaceful surroundings and reflective atmosphere of the memorial invite visitors to pay their respects and reflect on the impact of that day. It's a place that not only honors those who lost their lives but also educates and inspires visitors to remember the values of courage, sacrifice, and freedom.

Came from California to mechanicsburg to see my uncle and flight 93 was one of the things I wanted to see. We got there and it was very quiet. People speaking more quiet than usual out of the respect of the area you’re in. Steve gave a nice presentation about the different areas and details of the memorial. Very moving and a place Americans will never forget.

Beautiful memorial. I cannot describe the feeling there. I was not aware until I was on the field walk ending that the granite walkways were the route the flight came in on. When walking in you are on the granite walkway to a half wall of glass to the overlook. Then the granite walkway is at the field area along the marble name slabs to the fence to look through and see the boulder marking the site. The chimes of voices was so beautiful. Wait patiently to here them. They are like whispers in the winds. There is a clean restroom and a shop, also memorabilia and videos. Fields of wild flowers planted were gorgeous. Surreal.

Heartfelt tribute to the heroes on Flight 93. The visitor station shows a timeline of events and a screen that plays a re-enactment of when and how the plane crashed. Photos of all the victims are displayed on a wall along with voice recordings of the last calls to loved ones. There is an outlook area where you can see the crash site and memorial wall. All together there are 3 areas. The tower of voices, which is a giant wind chime representing 40 individual chimes for all 40 passengers. The visiting center displays artifacts and tells about what happened on and leading up to 9/11 along with an outlook center outside of the building. The third area is the memory wall with the names of victims, which is also close up to the crash site. There is a small store located inside with clothing and memorabilia also. Also, just an FYI, there is a sign that says no cameras or picture taking is allowed in the visiting center where all the artifacts are. There is also a sign near the tribute wall that says no food, pets, or bikes. I'm not sure if it is allowed in any other places, so research before you go. We stopped here on our way to Ohio from Washington DC. Would highly recommend to stop here if traveling in the area.

It’s always been hard not to get teary-eyed at visiting a memorial. Compared to others that I have visited this one is very modest. I visited a few hours before sundown in mid-June. Only a few people there. It quiet; no distractions from human noise. I found myself reflecting on the horror that these passengers felt when they came to the realization that they were going to die, by plunging thousands of feet. The decision they made to take back control of the aircraft was truly heroic.

I really hate to give any memorial less than 5 stars. It is a beautifully done building and grounds. Definitely worth the stop if you are driving through. It lost a star for the no pictures inside policy. It was the first time I have been to any place operated by the national park service that denied photography.

We were driving on the interstate and saw the sign. Spontaneously we exited. Not sure what to expect. The memorial was amazingly well done. While we expected a quick detour we spent a few hours. Flight over path/overlook, Tower of voices, Memorial plaza & wall of names. The visitor center does an excellent job retelling the stories of flight 93. Way more than we realized. Very quiet, tranquil and thoughtful site. The nuances of the design and intentionality of each part is amazing. Even a decent hiking path that interacts with the site. Talk to the rangers and volunteer guides who give unique insights. Highly recommended and respectfully done! 🇺🇸

Very emotional experience! Only tourist location I've ever visited that moved me to tears. I surmise someone born in the 1930's or earlier would feel similar while visiting Pearl Harbor. I found the differences in the reactions in the various visitors there very interesting. The younger visitors seemed curious but respectful. Many of the older visitors seemed saddened. Some openly wept listening to the actual recordings left by passengers on the answering machines of their loved ones when they realized they would most likely die. There is no fee to visit the Memorial park or visitor center. The exhibits are very educational, recreating the events on the morning of 9/11/01. Pets are allowed outside, but preferably not on the granite walkways. The only possible "negative" I can say is that there is a small gift shop in the visitor center. Some people might find this a bit tacky, but I thought the items sold were mainly educational or patriotic, and it's for a good cause, so I didn't mind its presence. I won't hesitate to visit here again in the future. Watching the deer feed in the same field where so much death occurred years earlier, with the beautiful backdrop of a blue sky and colorful autumn leaves, left me with a mixture of emotions: peace, sadness, admiration, despair, etc. It is an experience I will never forget. 💔❤

Somber, and yet resonating. This memorial is beautiful and really does an amazing job educating about the final moments these heroic people lived. There are two main areas. The tower of voices is closest to the entrance, while the memorial museum is farther up the hill. It's best to come in the main door which is to the left of the parking lot. The inside tells the story from take off to grounding. So many years later and my heart still mourns with the families. I pray these powerful people continue to rest in peace.

This is a very nice memorial. The story walls and recordings of passengers final phone calls are very moving. If you have not been here I highly recommend it. There are no photos allowed inside so I only have photos of the wind chime tower. This tower is only a small part of the overall memorial.

The least accessible of the 9/11 memorials but certainly worth the time. I’m impressed by the symbolism throughout the site. The path which is laid out like the flight path, the 40 individual marbles nameplates that from a distance look as one and the nod to the local hemlock trees throughout. Well done.

Very beautiful memorial. The visitors center relives the tragic event, step by step; very informative. Park rangers are on site during business hours to answer any questions you may have. The tower of voices is a very unique monument to sit and listen. The views are breath-taking. A must visit National Park

This memorial was amazingly done. The phone calls if the victims really brought the emotions from weekday happened that day. The tower with the bells ringing was well done. I would recommend anyone that wanted to know more about flight 93 go to this memorial. It brought me to tears. Well done in honoring the victims.

I've been to the Flight 93 Memorial 11 times. My first time was with my dad, shortly after 9/11 and awhile I waited to ship to basic training. To see where the memorial started and where is today is truly amazing! It was a simple steel wire fence, maybe 40 feet long and 12 feet high. I remember so many stuffed animals, pictures, letters and other heart felt items from friends and family. Today I'm proud to be VP of Rescue 343-2 Memorial which is a tribute Memorial to 9/11 out of Ohio and all who passed on 9/11. We will NEVER FORGET!

A very peaceful and humbling place to visit. A quiet space to reflect on the tragedy that unfolded that fateful day. Beautiful grounds filled with trees and deer. This place needs few words, just visit and pay your respects.

The Flight 93 Memorial is such a great place to learn about what had happened on Flight 93 from 9/11. What they have done here to memorize the victims and everyone else affected by that dreadful day is amazing. They went above and beyond with this memorial. Inside you can find a ton of information and artifacts from the area during 9/11. There is no photography or video allowed inside of the building. There is a trail that will lead you down to the wall and where the crash site is. You can also drive here and walk a short distance to the crash site. A rock symbolizes where the plane had crashed. Take your time to enjoy and show respect towards all that had happened and all those brave people that had helped during the crash. The area is also very scenic.

Educational, emotional, and beautiful tribute to the lives lost on Flight 93. The park ranger shared about prior land ownership, the symbolism of the design of the grounds being like a mother's embrace, the tall walls to draw your attention up towards the sky/flight path, and the wooden gate/wood ceilings being a nod to the hemlocks that were damaged/burned during the explosion. and so much more. Truly incredible experience, this place will humble you.

It was an amazing, emotional, and educational experience. All the exhibits in the memorial were amazing. You can't leave there without learning how those passengers were such heroes for four our country.

Excellent memorial for the tragedy that occurred here. The signs are informational and really remind you what occurred on that fateful day. The place is very somber and truly makes you reflect. The design of the buildings following the flight path is brilliant and the way everything else is laid out is wonderful. I didn't realize how much land they have in the park but it is expansive.

We were taking the back roads to Hershey, PA and happened to drive by as it’s in a remote location. We turned around to visit and pay tribute to the men and women who lost their lives on Flight 93. The memorial was majestic and beautiful, standing tall by itself among the rolling hills. Very emotional experience standing there and hearing the chimes. So glad we turned around to experience this.

In the area for work , I stopped here to show my respect to those brave Americans who surrendered their lives to stop the terrorist on that horrific day. The site is very well down in how it preserves the natural beauty and shows respect to the heroes of Flight 93. Unfortunately, the wind speed was not high enough get the wind chimes going, but seeing it was great nevertheless. Well worth the visit

My wife is a history major and had Monticello on her bucket list, so I decided to take her on a special vacation to visit this historical landmark. What a special day we had despite the rain. The facility was very well organized, had a great gift shop and is well maintained. We decided to take the self-guided tour so we could take our time and really take everything in. My wife was in heaven walking room to room and observing all the historical artifacts in the home of our third president, Thomas Jefferson. The home had paintings, Indian relics, antique furniture, books, a poignant scene of children's toys, and unique technical devices from the 1700-1800s. The grounds were amazing and full of beautiful plants, trees and vegetable gardens. Many areas had QR codes that allowed you to pull up a web site on a cell phone, providing written descriptions and audio recordings. There was a great little snack shop on the grounds that offered unusual soft drinks, candy, ice cream and other wonderful treats. We spent over 2 hours taking it all in and enjoying the breath taking scenic views of the mountains and rolling hills. A truly memorable day learning about the history of the home of our third president of the United States of America.

We had the most excellent guide, Ashley, for the Slavery to Freedom tour. She told the story and asked thoughtful questions that drew her audience into the period. She all of the questions that were thrown at her. She was not judgemental. The museum itself was great at giving us a visual of the man Thomas Jefferson and his plantation. This is an experience that we highly recommend for everyone. The main gift shop had a wealth of additional information. The price for the tour is reasonable given that we had the freedom to see other things. All of the staff were very nice. I loved the convenience of the air conditioned shuttle. We didn't take pictures of the house this time. The architecture is amazing. Thanks to the foundation for preserving this history. Good job.

Just incredible! Please take the time to drive here and take the tour. The guided tour was so informative with background on different events. Must see for our children to get a better understanding of our founding fathers and the life they lived. Loved seeing the replica Declaration of Independence, less than 50 still known to be in existence. Lots of walking paths and beautiful views.

A great historical site, highly recommended to anyone who is interested in history, architecture, or agriculture. The house is truly grand and beautiful. I loved hearing the history of the color choices throughout the home, and the many other little stories that help us see Jefferson as a human being and not just a historical figure.

We had a great visit to Monticello. They have done a great job of preserving and restoring a very important part of history. The tour guides are extremely informative. They have an actor who speaks as Thomas Jefferson. He is amazing, he even takes questions. Monticello is beautiful and so educational. I highly recommend a visit!

We took the Wednesday 11.00 "Behind the scenes" tour. Our guide was fantastic. It was a fact filled and interesting narrative delivered with ease, and he fielded all of the questions that were asked effortlessly. Staff at the ticketing office were also really helpful. The building is interesting albeit a bit strange and the grounds are magnificent.

This is an outstanding property and we were really happy we came up for the day. Thomas Jefferson was quite the architect (along with all his other accomplishments) and this house/grounds has a lot of innovations that you will not see in other houses of that period. Highly recommend the behind the scenes tour and get there early as you can easily spend all day there.

One of the most well done tours I’ve ever been to. Amazing experience from the drive in to the tour. We purchased the Behind the Scenes Tour that takes you into the house and the rotunda—it’s worth the investment! You get to walk through history. We saw the actual books Jefferson owned, his bed, his personal tools, and so much more. The tour guides are insightful, thoughtful, and kind. Getting to walk through history has no substitute! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Charlottesville!

I had one $#@& tour guide send me to the wrong place to wait for our tour, which then started 15 minutes early. Then openly mocked me for bringing me children (6, 9, 11) on the tour. In front of an entire tour group. Despite this guy... this place is fantastic. The gardens, the views, the architecture museum. We spent 4hrs here learning and being awed by the significance and history of it all. My wife and I could have easily spent more time there, but kids. We did the cheapest tour, which is only the ground floor. If it was just the two of us we'd have done the full thing to see the dome. I highly recommend getting there early and doing the architectural museum at the bottom of the hill before going up. Spend a good 45 minutes doing all the reading and learning of what Jefferson did before going to lay eyes on the building.

Spectacular. Monticello is as much a place of learning as it is an architectural feat. I have been over ten times at this point and learn or see something totally new each time. Take an unguided tour if you’re on a repeat visit and linger awhile in the well-appointed rooms. Don’t miss out on the museum next to the bus stop, and by all means go to the store!

An amazing historical site! There is lots of history surrounding this estate to learn and explore. The tour was a great experience. The views of the surrounding area were beautiful and very calming. I highly recommend visiting!

Did the 45-min guided tour; very organized. Definitely worth it. Unfortunately, we had only 2.5 hrs to spare, so not enough time. Recommend at least 3 hrs if you want to soak in the history. Awesome place for history buff. A lot of great history, somber ones too. The guide provided great info about the mansion as well as Jefferson's history, good and bad. The guided tour about slavery at Monticello was a somber one, but a must do. We also attended the "Meet Thomas Jefferson." The gentleman who portrayed Jefferson did an excellent job. The grounds and gardens were immaculate. The trees are beautiful and saved us from the scorching 90° sun. The views were spectacular.

I loved the history tours that you could do. The house itself was amazing! I do recommend going to the tours, which are very fun and educational. They have several tours at different times you can go to throughout the day. Also, get tickets in advance. It really puts you in Jefferson's shoes being there.

The Thomas Jefferson Foundation has done a phenomenal job with the aesthetics of the property and restoring the dependencies for their visitors. What I don’t like about visiting here is how commercialized it feels, especially compared to the other historic home tours in Virginia. You pay $42 for the highlights tour, with tours running every five minutes. That means you only have five minutes in each room to hear the guides presentation, look around, and ask questions. Our tour had so many people that we couldn’t see most of the rooms because we were packed in like sardines. We were then shuffled very quickly to the next room. When I asked the ticket counter about other options we were recommended the Behind the Scenes tours or private tours. Private tours start at $750 for four people. I love Virginia history and again, the property was beautiful, I just wish the tour hadn’t felt so crowded and rushed.

Dogs are allowed on the grounds! We enjoyed our Highlights tour at Monticello, although I wish they gave more information about the house and Jefferson's inventions, special home details, and his amazing contributions to American history .. I had watched a documentary about the house and honestly I learned more watching the documentary than the tour guide: The guide was obsessed with his relationships thus we left the tour early because we couldn't listen to Hannah's commentary; maybe there's a guide who is more involved in the details of the house and Jefferson's accomplishments than Hannah? ... Anyway, it's a beautiful home, gardens are enjoyable.

We did the Highlights tour. Very informative. Our guide, Katrina, led a well-paced tour. We enjoyed walking the beautiful grounds of Monticello on our own. Not great for little kids as there’s nothing for them to do. If they have any knowledge of US History, it’s worth it.

Highly recommended - to include booking your house tour in advance if possible, to reserve the slot that you want. We found the 'behind the scenes' house tour to be worth the additional money, to include a smaller group and a lot more time in the house. This tour requires you to ascend and descend a pretty steep and narrow staircase. Free public WiFi by the lower visitor center and the upper house itself. Water refill stations also available by the water fountains. If you want to do the house tour plus the garden and slavery guided tours, it may be advantageous to pack or plan to eat at the onsite cafe. The slavery tour was very informative - the stories about the persons that lived here were moving.

It was a great tour. Our guide Don was amazing. Every encounter with the workers was nice except for the lady driving the shuttle and the lady checking tickets to get on the bus. It’s a must see when you are in Charlottesville. The house had incredible views to the blue ridge mountains and nearby fields. I recommend a guided tour because they share interesting stories of the family and items in the house.

We had an awesome visit to Monticello. Our docent Brianna was great! I remember going as a kid. We had the grounds and home tour tickets but there is also an upgrade to visit the top floor and dome room. Plan to spend 3-4 hours for your visit. They have a couple of places to catch a bit to eat. We had a great time!

Did not realize Monticello had so much to see on the tour. You see history come to life with Jefferson’s speech. There is still much to see if you do not take the house tour. One special feature that helped my daughter get around better, was there free wheelchair access. Be prepared to spend a few hours and wear comfortable shoes.

Such a marvelous piece of our history warts and all. By now everyone knows Jefferson owned slaves and fathered children with one of his house keepers/nannies. He was a very complex man and very intelligent. I could go on for several pages about him and his estate. The tour was excellent and the gentleman who is on the site who portrays Jefferson was excellent. I wish there was someone like that at Mt. Vernon to portray Washington. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about my experience here. Our tour guide was excellent. She was personable and very knowledgeable. You can tour all of the grounds, the mansion and basement which was very informative and interesting. There are slave quarters and shops so you get a real feel for what it was back then. The large Jefferson burial area was also interesting to view. A very peaceful serene setting not too far from the mansion. There is a great visitor’s center and museum and I highly recommend seeing both along with a short film before you take the shuttle up to the mansion. I learned how intelligent, inquisitive and inventive Jefferson was. I highly recommend reading a biography of Jefferson before you visit. It will bring the entire experience to life.

It's worth the cost to get in. Went in the fall, and there were still plenty of tours and things to see. Our tour guide was amazing, well versed, and knowledgeable on everything from the building of the home to the darker history of Jefferson's story. He made Jefferson out as human and a product of his time and not a hero and mythical being. I am glad to know that although there are a few original pieces, the museum uses replicas as well. Visit the exhibits near the visitor center where you park for a look at how the house was built, Jefferson's life, and the family trees of his decedents, including Sally Hemmings children. Parking was easy, and the shuttle service made the trip easier for our party.

Monticello is a wonderful plantation to visit, especially so when the weather is cooperative. The grounds are incredibly well taken care of and you can learn a bit of what life was like by walking around and exploring the various buildings. I love that the gardens are maintained and that the food isn't wasted from them. I highly recommend doing the guided house tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable of Jefferson's life and Monticello through it's years. There are various other tours you can do, but unfortunately I only had time for the one. There's a lot to learn here outside of what you learn in a grade school history class. If you have any interest in history, and are around Charlottesville, I suggest making a stop here!

First time I have been when there were guided tours. Although the 45 minute tour was very informative, it requires the whole group to be in one room together with the doors closed so the other tour in the next room can not be heard. The rooms here are small and our group was too big to fit comfortably in the rooms. There is a strick no touching or leaning on anything at all policy which made the tight quarters feel even tighter. Tour sizes need to be smaller or maybe our day was just really busy, but I liked it better when we could do self guided tours. I would not recommend this tour for small children. The rooms are just too small with too much stuff. But for history and architecture nerds, it is an amazing and interesting home. Don't miss the museum, it has some great displays that show how he modified and expanded the house over the years. And they have a model of his final renovation that was never completed.

So so pretty and such a gorgeous property. I never knew how much history really was underneath this property until this week and I’m so very glad I got to visit and have the opportunity to become educated. Our tour guide was amazing and the tickets were very well worth it, there are many attractions (that do cost) to walk through which is super cool.

Monticello offers a step back in time to learn about the history of one of the forefathers of this country. The tour of the home is pleasant and the tour guides are knowledgeable. There are also multiple other tours of the grounds that provide a great historical perspective of the land and of Jefferson. There is even a Thomas Jefferson character that is found on certain days and times. If you get the chance, stop by to see him. He plays the role with great accuracy and the interaction with him is very memorable.

I just finished reading the 1 star comments. Most of them are about the pricey tickets. 😱😱 The guided tour ticket is $42, and the ground tour ticket is $22. I bought the guided tour ticket today, 01/20/2024. It was a 45 minutes with one tour guide, his name is Jim. He is a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide. 👍👍👍 Is it worth it to pay $42 dollars and see the third president's house? Well, if you think 45 minutes is too short, you can spend more time exploring the wine cellar, kitchen, and the garden. I would suggest do some homework before you go. It is because the tour guide was a little bit fast taking before you can even understand the whole story.😅😅😅😅 However, I do have one feedback which I promised the staff I would write to the owner. It is 26 degrees today with 19 miles per hour wind speed. All of the staffs who worked outdoors today were all shivering 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶. Is it possible to provide the outdoor propane heater for their health issue concern? ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Gorgeous views from atop the mountain in all directions. Interesting and well-presented history, giving insight to Jefferson and the lives of those that lived at Monticello, including the enslaved people. The house and ground are remarkable, and the tours are very well done.

This was well worth seeing. I did the highlights tour and felt for me, that was plenty. However there is a longer more in-depth tour that also would have been interesting.. Our guide Rogan was spectacular! He explained the history well and encouraged questions. I particularly liked how he addressed the difficult subject of slavery and Thomas Jefferson’s involvement. After the house tour there is an option to tour the slave quarters. Yet again, I was impressed how our guide Louie handled the delicate subject and encouraged thought. The entire staff from check in to the guides did a tremendous job! Thank you!

An excellent place to visit. The tours are very professionally executed. The grounds and buildings are fabulous. The tour guides are very well informed and learned in history and engage you during your tour.

Beautiful and historic grounds and you get very good views of the Virginian countryside. The tickets are pretty expensive for adults, however. The grounds are not as big as one would expect but pretty nice nevertheless. I would recommend to visit here if you are in Charlottesville because there is not much else to do

Amazing place to spend a few hours! They do have a shuttle to carry everyone from the house to the burial site and back. You can always walk if you choose to.

I heard from someone working at the front royal visitor's center that Luray caverns was the best in the area. It was a good 45 minute drive but it definitely did not disappoint! It was beautiful!! We went on a Monday evening and it was empty. They took our photos at the entrance and ended up being really cute souvenirs. The caverns themselves were really big. We took our time and read through all 19 stops on the tour (they had self guided tours with a brochure) I liked that we were able to go at our own pace and be able to take photos/ videos without other people photo bombing. There were pretty little lakes and huge formations. Great trip!

A must see! Superbly arranged, roomy for those who may suffer from claustrophobia. Nearly all paths are brick layer and the path is very easy going. There is no climbing or such. Tour is self guided and takes about an hour. Plenty of parking. There is a very nice antique car collection, which is included on the $30.00 entry fee. Highly recommended!

It's no doubt a neat trip for visiting a cave but the company is letting it slide. In the past ten years, the price has gone up and the tours are no longer guided. We visited today and it was a near free-for-all in the cave. A lot of people were touching the rock formations and leaving trash in the cavern. At this rate, considering how delicate the caves are, I wouldn't be surprised if it were eventually closed off to the public.

The off season is the best time to visit. Absolutely no lines, many times we were the only ones in an area. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Off season lol. The caves are incredible and stunning. The fun thing is they actually have a pretty cool car selection which we all enjoyed. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Absolutely gorgeous and worth the trip from Baltimore (and the ticket price). We got permission to go backward through the caverns and it was nice because it made it less crowded. I do imagine that they’ll not allow it anymore, though, because I could tell a few of them were slightly annoyed by it. Don’t ask about it and definitely don’t reference this post.

The most beautiful and largest cave in the East coast you must see! It would take about an hour to walk through the cave but we really enjoyed every moment of it! Although it was crowded, it’s still plenty rooms and opportunities for you to taking pictures! Great place!

Great way to easily experience the caverns! The self-guided tour is great, it allows you to stop and enjoy the quiet and beauty of each area. There are useful details about the formations in a guide pamphlet which is super helpful to understand everything. Added on the maze to the experience, it was so fun and worth the extra price. The whole experience was a lot of fun for all ages.

Visited on a Thursday afternoon and it was decently crowded. My family of 3 was able to walk through the caverns in about an hour and it was spectacular. It is self-guided but you can pay for a guided tour. You are given a pamphlet with information as you walk through the caverns. Although it is definitely a tourist-y spot, I highly recommend checking this incredible place out as it is one of the great wonders of the east coast!

I have visited caves all around the world- Japan, Europe, Korea etc. This was by FAR the most breathtaking experience. The caverns were other-worldly. You MUST visit if you are close by! If you have kids, the caverns are pretty stroller (small stroller) friendly. Also, the crowds here aren’t bad at all, you have plenty of space to enjoy the trail.

We enjoyed this very much. We stayed up at big meadows campground during a very misty week so this was a nice break. The path is all one level, no steps. The only improvement I would like is the ability to get the headphones again or a guided tour. The pamphlet was helpful but we like to interact with tour guides make sure you check for discounts

It was an amazing experience. It was my first time in a cavern, so it was incredible to me. The mirror caves were absolutely beautiful. It was a rainy day, so we got to see the water filtering inside the cave. The guides were very helpful. We got to hear the organ in the cathedral.

Having heard that these were the best caverns to visit in Virginia, I was eager to see them. On arrival the place was really busy, but we had not trouble parking in the parking lot. Entry was reasonably priced and after walking through the gift shop we headed to the caverns. Before you enter you have to have your photo taken so they can try and sell it to you on your way out. The caves are amazing to look at, and there are plenty of opportunities to take photos. The caverns are well lit but I do feel that missed a trick by not using coloured lighting. My only gripe would be the crowds. Lots of people just stopping and not letting people past. This caused a back log many times. About halfway round there are only so many rock formations you can look at before they all start to look alike. The route took about 1hr. Once out you walk back through the gift shop. There are other attractions available included in the price, but we were too hot and tired to experience them.

Really cool caverns with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites formations. There was also a very small underground lake that reflected the stalactites like a mirror. The temperature is cool (light jacket should be fine), can be slightly drippy if raining outside. Takes about 1 hr average to stroll leisurely and enjoy the view. The restroom is only available at the main building so make sure you empty your bladder before heading into the cavern. There are also other attractions in the complex such as the toy station, museum, etc. Parking was relatively easy, also free. All in all, certainly worth the ticket price.

Stunning- Nature’s magic at play. Great for families, kids or even a romantic get away. Lots to do other than just the Caverns. Plan ahead if you want to explore more than just the caverns and do other things like the Garden Maze , shopping etc. Definately bring your camera. The caves have a beautiful ‘Mirror lake’. Magical!!!

Went at the end of our spring break and it was really fun! It’s about 60-90 min to walk all the way through, depending on how long you stop for photos or listen to the organ. Many amazing sights and some parts of the caves are 7 million years old! Very interesting history and would recommend grabbing info pamphlet before you go through so you can follow along what each item is (they’re numbered). Tickets also include free admission to the toy museum and train/car museum next door. Really neat to see more historic items.

This place was really great. I checked previous pictures and had thought I would find something a bit different, for example: the wishing well; I thought it was bigger than what actually is (small) also, thought there was more water in it, but nope. I still enjoyed the place and had a great time. I went on Sunday and it was full of people, making it hard to take some pics but not a big deal either. No steps inside, it took a bit more than 1hr but did not feel it, I didn’t get tired either. I was ready to use a sweater inside but no need in my case. Restrooms are 8/10. Whenever you enter or exit you have to go through the shop they have, I didn’t like it because it was crowded inside the shop. Staff was friendly. Entry was 32USD per person.

Beautiful. Pictures can not do it justice. My girlfriend and I made a detour on our trip home from PA to NC to see this place. We were amazed. I have hundreds of pictures/videos and they all look amazing. Put it on your bucket list. Must see.

We had the best time here. I took my father and my grandson (who is 4) and my dad loved the ramp that was added from the last time he was here many years ago and my grandson practically skipped the entire time being in awe of everything to see. We lucked out and didn't realize the anniversary of the caverns being discovered was the same weekend we chose to go and they had lit hundreds of candles which only added to the ambiance. It was also nice and cool given the 90+ it was outside.

Amazing experience, very beautiful cave and rock formations. The tours are self guided. However when your walking through, their will be families stopping and taking pictures, which holds up others that want to go bye. My experience there was an allot of kids running around, which annoyed others. But didn’t annoy me. I had a great time. Would definitely go back.

the caverns were amazing to see, easy to walk, we were there when they first opened mid weekday in winter and it was not crowded. It took about an hour and half total with a leisurely stroll. Kids really enjoyed seeing the different formations. There is a very large parking lot and was mostly empty when we went. By the time we got done the lot was about1/4 full.

Absolutely beautiful!! We really enjoyed the self guided tour. It's definitely worth the trip!! We visited from Michigan over New Years weekend. It wasn't terribly busy. We spent a few hours there between the caves, village, and museums. The ticket price is worth it for sure. You get to see and learn a lot. Our only issue was with people themselves. For some reason, people just can't seem to listen and follow rules, especially in the caves. It was sad to see so many people being disrespectful and touching the formations :(

I was here in 2019 and now in 2024. I'm very excited. This is the best place. It’s safe to walk here and not be afraid that you will slip and fall, like in another cave that we were not far from this one. There is a very large cave here and there is something to see all the time. I regretted that we went to another cave because this cave is the best, the most beautiful, the most. I really liked it, thank you to the people who work there for your work. It's so good here that you don't want to leave. Photos can't convey how beautiful it is there.

Cool place to walk around if you enjoy caves. Did have an experience with one of the workers as we walked up on a private tour and we weren’t aware of it and just stood there being polite letting him finish talking only for him to rudely say anyone not part of the tour move along. I just think there was a better way to say it as we had no clue that’s what it was.

Decided to head out to the caverns with the family. We have been to several caverns all over the world and this one was really good. The tour was good, the path was wheelchair friendly, the formations were amazing. The cavern organ performances were a bit of a let down. The car museum was okay but it was included in the price of the ticket. The biggest shock was the price at $34 a person. This is quite expensive. The cavern tour took us about 2 hours. There was plenty of parking.

What an experience! This place is truly out of this world. The tickets included the Luray Caverns Self-Guided Tour, the Car & Carriage Caravan Museum, Shenandoah Heritage Village, and Toy Town Junction. There's also garden maze, rope adventure park and gem sluice for additional price. I wish we had more time to explore, so we hope to be back soon.

It's a very nice vacation destination to see the beauty of another side of the world. Luray caverns is very good experience, and nice to see the under earth beauty. The mirror image beauty is awesome. Nice maintenance inside caverns. Enjoyed the trip and Skyline drive as well.

It was my revisit after 28 years. Back then it was not as nice as now. Cavern was renovated during 2017 ~ 2019 and it looks much nicer and corridor was nicely renovated. My kids loved the cavern and it is must visit place when you have kids. It takes little less than 1 and half hours to complete the tour and loved it. Ticket price is $34 for adult and $17 for kids(6-12), Free for under age 6

Definitely a gem in WV. Free shuttle from visitor center to lower town to see many historic shops, beautiful river views, and old rail trails. Easy walking. Plan to spend half day enjoying the historic park.

Literally the BEST National Park System owned site I've ever been to! I unfortunately wasn't able to hike on any of the trails, but the small houses and businesses along the road were extremely interesting! I remember visiting a small church nearing the top of the hill that was beautiful. There was a candy shop I went into and the woman working the desk told me all about the history of candies like Turkish delight. The restaurants were also very good. The Rabbit Hole is a great choice to go to. I'll definitely go back some day when I can hike up the trails.

Harpers Ferry is always a great stop with plenty to do. We have made short and long trips depending on what we want to see, and there is always something new to learn about. When we come in the winter or early in the day we park in town by the train station for easy access. Today the lord were all full so we parked at the visitor center and took the bus in, and our was really very convenient. There are so many walking and hiking trails in the area, and with the C&O canal and the Appalachian Trail passing by you can really go anywhere from here. There are plenty of trails easy for all ages, and more challenging trails like Maryland Heights to give you a good hike with great views. For an easy walk I love to walk across the bridge to the C&O, especially if I can catch a train passing through! There are very fun shops in town as well, where you can learn about history, like the history of candy, and take souvenirs home with you.

Really nice beautiful scenery and just so nice. Free bus down to the town. Military got in for free. So much history in Harpers Ferry. Full off lovely colonial houses and lovely little shops.

What a beautiful, incredible space. It really feels like stepping back in time. We went on a rainy Saturday in March and there wasn't too much trouble getting parking but I can imagine the parking fills up in the warmer weather. Definitely recommend parking in the NPS lot and taking the shuttle. The shuttle is very convenient and comes like every 10 minutes. The town itself offers all kinds of engagement from history to architecture to natural beauty. One can easily spend all day here exploring the town, trails and museum exhibits. There are a few stores; we really enjoyed the historic candy shop where you can buy candy that was popular in different historic eras. Don't forget to stop by the park store. There is a very good selection of books, Park swag, and more. Don't forget to get your passport stamps! Can't wait to return in the warmer months.

We loved the park so beautiful and lots of trials to go on and the town of Harpers ferry was small bonus with cute shops, history and small pubs to catch a quick bite at. It's crowded on the weekends so be prepared to park at the park and shuttle bus down. But don't worry there's lots of busses coming all the time. This is a great day trip or couple day trip to explore the area and other small towns around. West Virginia is a beautiful state especially if you love the outdoors, nature and laid back living.

Lots of history here. You can go to the National Park visitor center and then ride the bus into town. This is a good option as parking is scarce and metered. Entry to the park is $20 per family and is good for 3 days, or you can use your National Park pass. We rode our bikes which is another option. Once in town, there's lots to see. The lower town has many historic buildings, and many have been turned into small museums. There is a railroad trestle you can walk across and see a tunnel entrance. When you're in Harper's Ferry, where the Shenandoah and Patomac rivers meet is also where WV, VA, and MD all come together. There are many places to grab lunch, drinks, and ice cream. Some of the buildings are undergoing renovations. We spend about 4 hours there.

Went on a field trip here today with my kids' school. It was definitely beautiful. The shuttle bus downtown was awesome. I love that they play a recorded guide while on the shuttle. Everything was very clean, and you can tell the community cares. It's very interesting to see the history of this place!

This is a perfect place to visit for the fall season. The drive itself was a treat. I recommend parking at the Harpers Ferry National Park and pay the fee of 20 bucks (I wish I have known this beforehand), and from there they have a bus every 5 mins to take you to the downtown and self tour the area.

I brought my 16 year old son here for his first time, as he'd just read about the story of John Brown in his history class, & he was enamored. It was a wonderful experience. So much to see, & Harpers Ferry is the most charming little town! I'd been here 9 years ago, & I was so happy to bring him to see everything that I so much enjoyed, as well as discover how the exhibits had changed. Great experience, & perfect for a weekend family road trip!

Had a blast here. Hiking up Maryland Heights was an absolute treat, and the views of Harpers Ferry from the top were breathtaking. The hike itself was really enjoyable, perfect for a day out in nature. It was pretty packed and I couldn’t find parking at the train station, so I had to park further away. Fortunately, the park offers a free shuttle between the parking area and the town.

I did not realize you had to pay to visit Harpers Ferry. I didn’t know it was part of the National Park Service. Which was my bad for not doing my research. Thankfully I went on a day that wasn’t very busy. The shuttles to and from the drop offs were timely. I was alone when I visited and would definitely come back with my husband and/or friends. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes there is lots to see.

Very well organized. Drive to the public parking and take the bus back. Walk through town. It's very interesting history is worthwhile. R. E. Lee arrested John Brown near the current fire station. From the point you see three states, West Virginia, Virginia across the Shenandoah to the right and Maryland across the Potomac to the left. Walk across the bridge and see the city from Maryland Point, a 1 hour hike round trip since part of the trail is closed.
