One of the best parts of Netflix's Mindhunter is watching Jonathan Groff play the part of Holden Ford. Ford is a special agent in the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit, and he interviews imprisoned serial killers in order to gain insight into the way they think, with the hope that he can use that information to catch other serial killers still on the loose.

The second season of the show will premiere on August 16, but if you want to catch up with Groff before then, he has a trove of movies and TV shows that you can get into.

Here are Jonathan Groff's 7 best stage, TV, and movie roles.

Groff has had an illustrious theater career, and he's appeared in productions like Fame, Spring Awakening, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

But most fans would say that Groff's most popular role on stage has been as King George III in the original cast of Hamilton. Groff portrayed the royal from 2015-2016, and he received a Tony nomination for the role.

Glee

Groff was a recurring character on Glee over its six-season arc. His character, Jesse St. James, started dating Lea Michele's Rachel Berry during the show's first season, but they later break up. In the series finale, it's revealed that Jesse and Rachel end up getting married.

3

Frozen

Groff is the voice behind Frozen's Kristoff, marking his first time voicing an animated character. As he told entertainment site We Got This Covered, the process was a lengthy one.

"They liked my voice with hers [Kristen Bell], so I think that’s a big part of the reason I got the job. For the last year-and-a-half, I would go in every month or two to record," Groff explained in 2013.

The Simpsons

In an episode called "Bart's not Dead," Bart is approached to create a movie based on his near-death experience, and Groff voices the actor version of Bart.
