Timeline does not start at 0:00:00:00

PostMon Mar 08, 2021 9:29 am

I have installed Davinci Resolve v.17 and created a first video but the timeline does not start at 0:00:00:00.00.00.00 but at 1:00:00:00:00:00:00:00.
That is, it adds 1 hour at the beginning and I can't find how to change it.
How can I set the start correctly to start at 0:00:00:00.00?

Preferences>User>Editing>New Timeline Settings.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

The default is 01:00:00:00 which is normal and is not incorrect. It originates from tape based editing to allow for pre-roll, color bars and countdown clock, etc, without creating negative timecode values.
You can change it if you wish by going to Preferences/User/Editing and setting it in the New Timeline Settings section.

Thanks
I did not know the origin of that value and thought I had inadvertently configured something.
