Midsomer Walking Tours of Thame

Thame is one of the most frequently used locations for the hit ITV series, Midsomer Murders. Midsomer Walking Tours of Thame have developed regular guided tours which are held throughout the summer and autumn. Midsomer Walking Tours are held each Wednesday at 2pm from 3rd April through until the 30th October.  In 2024 walking tours will also be held on Saturdays at 2 pm between 15th June and 14th September.
The tour visits locations used in and around the town centre, which include the Town Hall, Thame Museum, Rumsey’s Chocolaterie, The Swan Hotel, The Spread Eagle Hotel, The Black Horse, The Coffee Shop and many others. Your guide will meet you at 2pm outside Thame Town Hall, right in the centre of the town, and each tour takes around 90 minutes to complete. The cost is £10.00 per person. You can buy tickets online (see below) or at the Town Hall Information Centre or at Thame Museum. This year marks an amazing 27 years since Midsomer Murders was launched – why not take this opportunity to celebrate by joining one of our tours?
