Ford Motor Company of Australia Pty Limited (Ford Australia) is a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, founded in Geelong, Victoria, in 1925.

The company designs, engineers, and imports award-winning and best-selling cars, SUVs and trucks. Ford Australia’s portfolio includes Focus, Mondeo, Mustang, EcoSport SUV, Escape SUV, Everest SUV, Endura SUV, Ranger, Ranger Raptor pickup truck and Transit commercial vans. From 2020, Ford Motor Company will expand its product offering to the Australian market to include electrified vehicles in addition to petrol and diesel-fuelled vehicles.

Australia is a key product development hub for Ford, with the company investing an average of $500 million each year in Australian research and development.

Ford Australia is Australia’s largest automotive employer, with more than 2000 engineers, designers, technical and automotive specialists working at four locations across Victoria. Australia-based engineers and designers lead the development of award-winning vehicles such as the Ford Ranger pickup and Everest SUV.
