Louis E. Dieruff High School Reviews
Rating 3.38 out of 5 172 reviews
The good aspects about Louis E. Dieruff High School is the diversity within the school, the wide variety of extracurricular activities, and the teacher’s upholding a passion for their job. The downside of the High School is the food choice. As a diabetic, the foods serves in the cafeterias are unhealthy. They are high in carbs and high fructose corn syrup. Another negative is the curriculum, the subjects being studied I feel aren’t where they should be as a high school, they aren’t very challenging to the students.
Dieruff is very diverse, they have many opportunities for all students like; gifted- early college and AP classes and also students who don't speak English as a first language.
Dieruff high school could be a lot better than it is now. When it comes down to the education at Dieruff it is poor. It’s hard to learn with teachers who don’t seem to be enthusiastic about what they are teaching. Most students that attend do not want to learn which ultimately makes it hard for others who genuinely want to. Dieruff is very diverse in its students and displays equality amongst them. One improvement I would like to see is teachers becoming more enthusiastic about teaching and making sure the students education is put first.
