Cumberland Reviews
Rating 4.11 out of 5 70 reviews
I have lived in Cumberland my whole life and found it to be a unique experience. Though I have never attended any of the public school in my town, I have always been provided opportunities to get involved in my community. Town sports and events have been a great way to connect with people that live in my community. Cumberland is a great place to grow up, despite not having a lot in it there is a lot of great things around it.
The area is pretty safe, but everywhere is unwalkable unless you’re walking in the streets of residential areas. Sidewalks are there, however they’re narrow and cracked, which could provide challenges for people with disability. Many parents don’t walk with their kids along the sidewalks of most roads because the roaring of cars scares them. There are little to no nature reserves
Quiet and family friendly, some diversity, great school system, safer than most areas. Home prices are high, but many have a good amount of land. Taxes are high but town is well managed .
