The character of Jack, despite being narcissistic and a serial killer, is really well made and the cast gives us a memorable performance. Additionally, the whole scene in Dante's Inferno are even more significant and don't spoil the film in spite of what many think. Plus, it is not THAT violent as people describe it. Sure, there are a few gorey scenes, but they are nothing compared to movies like Terrifier or A Serbian Film. At the end of the day, really a must watch if you enjoy epic poetry and horror films. Edit: does anyone except me appreciate this artwork for its phylosofical value? Do you guys think it is only a mediocre splatter? I invite you all to see the movie as an interesting story of an evolving character like Jack, that yes, in the end dies, but still allows you to get really into the film. O roteiro tem algumas pisadas no tomate, e a edição essa peca muito em deixar um filme com tanto diálogo, longo dessa forma. Eu tive que assistir em 3 vezes picadas.
