    Joe Muers has always been our favorite restaurant for fine dining on special occasions since it opened. We have dined there typically twice a year and have never been disappointed in the food, ambiance, and service. The one exception was the service yesterday. Historically the wait staff was always part of our experience with their professional and friendly interactions with us. Yesterday unfortunately was not up to those standards. The waiter did not seemed interested in anything more than taking our order and his service in between the various courses was very slow. Sadly this made it a disappointing evening for us. However this would not prevent us from wanting to return again.

    Fantastic as always. Had a great waitress and helped us navigate some of the dishes we wanted to try. All the food was great. Entree portions were enough for two people.

    The best seafood in town. It is always prepared perfectly. The hosts are very pleasant and always greet you with a smile. The service was excellent. Fast and pleasant.

The food at Joe Muer Seafood was outstanding, a true testament to the culinary excellence that the restaurant is renowned for.     Service was very slow. The item that my wife and I wanted was out of stock. We ordered medium steaks and both came back well done. They cooked us new steaks and the second time around my steak was rare and my wife’s steak was well done again. It took 40 minutes to get the first round of drinks. Overall we had a nearly 3 hour visit and still didn’t eat.

    I will never come back here. This place is not what it used to be. The menu had 5 or 6 items that were sold out and it would have been nice to let us know that so much of the menu was missing prior to being seated…. I wouldn’t have stayed and would have went elsewhere. The food was over cooked and majority of it was bland. The busboy wouldn’t even wait for us to get off the table before trying to reach over me to clear it. Horrible experience from start to finish… not the same Joe Muer this used to be.

    Waited 25 minutes to be seated despite a reservation. Service was slow. Lobster bisque was server cold. Two parties ordered Dover Sole per the waiter’s recommendation and were later told they were out of it. Generally a disappointing experience.
