Meeting him IRL is different, there is something mentally wrong with him. He is very approachable when you talk to him, but then after a few seconds you feel the urge to leave quickly.

Yeah, he had a really nasty motorcycle accident. He's honestly lucky to be alive, much less able to live independently. Like a lot of traumatic brain stuff, it catches up with you later in life.
It's crazy to go back and see him in movies before the accident. He looks so different now. I love the fact he embraced the crazy busey image and ran with it. Even with his injuries I think he knows he is different and he knows how people see him. He is just owning it and I admire him for that.
Not saying everything he does is a schtick but he did have the show for a while and he had to know what the show was about. Him being crazy.

I did it at 50 or so, into a ditch. Bike didn't have working speedo so I'm assuming 50 to 55

Many many years ago when I lived in Tulsa I was invited to a Philbrook Art Museum ‘soiree’ where my 10 year old son was a docent (in the comic book exhibit). I was a single mom so my son said he would find me a date. Gary Busey dressed to the nines came to the house and picked us up. He was so kind and said my son told him I was kinda nice and sorta pretty BUT really funny so he became my escort.

Not an Arkansas resident, but y’all were very nice to me when I came to visit Hot Springs and went to Crater Of Diamonds. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would come back to visit again in a heartbeat!
