Very cool to explore this little market with crafts, art, clothes, food and a wide range of products. There are many stalls and it's nice to walk around at night.

Such beautiful place!! There is a bunch of tiny shops inside ranging from different types of food (sweet and salty), different clothing stores, even tea shops! As well as coffee shops. There is even a spot where you can get plants 😍. We went on Sunday afternoon so there were some workshops happening for kids and to end the night Herencia Criolla played live for about an hour ✨✨ And in case you were wondering, yes, there are clean bathrooms inside for 1 Sol 👌🏽

Indian Market is a place full of quirky things, accessible to all pockets and full of whatever you may need. There is every type of clothing, music instruments, gadgets, souvenir for tourists... It is really interesting Try and be careful of what you're being sold, as sometimes you'll end up on taking things that are already broken or easily broken, just beware of that. Generally they have plenty of choices and is recommended to bring at least one sol if you think you might need the toilet.

Such fun! Lots of little shops and even a live band playing music and singing, people dancing in costumes, etc! So fun!

This place will overwhelm your mind with choices. The vendors are polite, and will invite you in to take a look but not press you to buy. Try to get an idea of what you are looking for before entering or the shear amount of beautiful wars will blow your mind. This is more Peruvian than Indian, and there are bargains to be found. Visited the Indian Market on a Sunday. Although it says the market opens at 10.30am, when I arrived around 10.45am most of the shops were still closed & slowly shops started to open and about half of them were opened by 12pm. Prices were quite similar from shop to shop, with a difference of maybe 10-20 sol. Make sure you bargain, however I managed to get very little discount (probably about max of 20 sol for each item I bought). If you’re planning to look for a lot of souvenirs, you may need about 3 hours to walk around. By the way, most of them at the shops can’t speak English so some TIPS: 1. Learn basic spanish phrases like 1-10, discount, cheap, expensive 2. They do accept USD, it’s just that you will get your change in Sol 3. If you have asked for discount but they are not willing to give in, try walking away. Some of the shops I went to called me back and gave the items I wanted at the price I negotiated for. If they don’t it’s okay, if you really want the item you can always still get it after that 4. The items are similar so don’t rush into buying, take your time to walk around and get the best deals

Indian Market is right across Inka Market, their Art and Crafts are very similar. Wait until at least one and a half hour after they open to see more stores varieties. Similar with Inka Market, prices are negotiable and they welcome US dollars

A must visit in Lima if you wish to pick up some souvenirs for yourself, friends and or family. There are a lot of stalls selling everything you can imagine, designed for tourists, expect the prices to be "tourist level" but you can haggle a little if you feel the need. For the most part we were offered fair pricing that we were willing to pay for the objects of our desire. Clothing, fridge magnets, jewelry, alpaca wool garments, bottle openers and everything in between. The store owners all mostly speak some English and are very friendly, they are not pushy and will offer some discounts if you are buying several items. You can haggle a little but I often prefer to look at what I value the item at, rather than drive a price down. There are no food vendors in here so don't go on an empty stomach and expect to fix that, the same with water, take it with you.

Sooooo many beautiful shops, most are handmade items: folklore and local favorites. Amazingly soft baby llama knits, scarves, etc, beautifully colored and proudly displayed. Silver jewelry is amazing with great purity, as Perú has one of the best silver mines in the world, and not only are most of the pieces handcrafted. They are also incredibly well priced. I have been to Lima 3 times and have always made a point to dedicate at least half a day to visit this market!

Great place to buy souvenirs. Good variety and decent prices. If you bring cash the sellers are more willing to give you a discount. They do take Visa and MC. Not sure about any other credit cards.

They do have a variety of Art and crafts. Someone from the previous review mentioned that if you go early when the Market is open, there may only be a few stores open, which is true in our case. We arrived at around 11:30am and about half the stores are opened. Most stores accept US dollars and credit cards, however if you want to negotiate the price, cash is preferred

If you came back from cusco and forgot to buy gifts, this is a great place to shop. We forgot several people and came here to find everything we missed over at cusco: Alpaca scarfs, ponchos, jewelry all in one small cute place. Prices were also similar to that of those in cusco.

Make sure to know how to barter well. Also know how to say “I’m just looking” and stand firm on prices. The locals love to rip off stupid tourists. Have fun!!

Was my favorite place to shop in all of Lima. (Art in the park at Kennedy park was wonderful too.) I got on my souvenirs for myself and my family members here. Learned that have a slight obsession with baby alpaca fur. Baby alpaca hats, teddy bears, purse fluffs. Beautiful cashmere scarfs. Only problem was not enough space in the suitcase!

A fantastic execution of the market hall concept (not to be confused with food court). Located in the residential Miraflores district of Lima it has a tent like structure, very open and light. At its center is a bar, as is fitting for a market hall, and around it many stalls with a nice variety of food, both Peruvian and classics such as premium burgers. Perfect for lunch and even better on a Thursday or Friday night out. A great execution and operation by the founders of the Seinauer company in Lima.

Think of Mercado 28 as a TGIF meets a fancy food court. There is a selection of different dining options under one roof. You have options imcluding gourmet burgers, poke, Asian, Mexican, Peruvian fusion and more. Also has a full bar.

A great outdoor/indoor place to go for drinks. Lots of good food options to choose from and the drink selection is great! We had an amazing night there and we tried all of the delicious Peruvian foods.

A fantastic food market done just right, IF you can get service from the bar. We waited 15 minutes, I talked to the bartender, I waved waitresses over and nothing. My group left, and had a great time elsewhere. If you go directly to the restaurants, then they will of course help you out ASAP. There’s a great variety of food vendors located here, perfect for whatever you may be craving. There is also a bar in the center, to help quench that thirst you walking around the hot city.

Won't be going back. Majority of the food is basically boring and overpriced. We tried items from multiple stations. Pros: The veggie chicken burger from Chicken What was decent, they have yummy sauces. Also the yuca rellena de queso de Aima was pretty good. Cons:The sushi was pretty tasteless (from the sushi place in the corner ) and way overpriced for what it was. The Maduro con queso/maní from La Patarashkita was just not good and i LOVE Maduro con queso, so that was super disappointing, the Maduro was undercooked and there was barely any cheese, but WAY too much Mani. The vibe of the overall place is cute, but i wouldn't go there to eat dinner again. Maybe drinks and dessert?

Awesome local market in surquillo. Not quite as cheap as you may expect, but way better prices than any grocery store! Go from 8-10am to get the smallest crowds. Also, some delicious peruvian food booths can be found here; try a juice or sandwich after you shop!

My favourite market where you can get ingredients for most global cuisines at reasonable prices. Additionally, you can buy all sorts of meats, vegetables and seafood that you don't find in cloned supermarkets. Not the cleanest of places, but wash everything!

You can get all you need but it's a little crowded and crazy. I recommend you focus in your shopping because you can find good deals. Dont distract with anything. Personally, I started looking cotton shirts, some souvenirs and Chinese products around Central Market.

Such a nice, local and typical market! You can find everything you want from meat, to veggies to snacks! If it's on your way during a walking day in Lima just stop by. It's worth a visit. It's not"cute" or "scenic" but if you're looking for a local experience you'll definitely be satisfied! :)

In this market you can find a lot of meat(fish, chicken, pork, beef), vegetables, fruit. All meat is in different sections. Also there are condiments for meat. Only here is no fast food. On the second floor you can find dress.

Great prices on standard household food and some commercial food related good. However most places sell the same items. Plenty of smaller markets in lima that will give you the same vibe without having to travel to the central mercado

This small shop was a little hard to find. The entrance is in the organic food store which is also at 108 Colina. They carry only women's clothing and accessories (shoes, purses, scarves). It seemed to be organized by clothing type and size, and most items were on hangers. Some casual pants were jumbled on a shelf, and there were several bins of discount clothing one could sort through to find bargains. It's a cute little store, with reasonable prices (priced per item, relative to quality) ranging from S/.30 to S/.150 (about 10 to 50 USD), but the selection is limited. I left without buying anything.

I visited this business and did not have a good experience. I purchased 2 outfits there last time and thus I returned again a few months later. I initially provided details for my bad review. The store reached out and we discussed what occurred and I've updated my review.

Was excited to find a second-hand store, but was disappointed with the lack of sizes out. They had so many more clothes in the back, but refused to let us see them. I would just suggest either putting more sizes out or letting customers wanting to spend money look at your stock.

We had a nice time in this market. You can find here a great verity of everything actually, from shoes to clothes, phones to cameras, home equipment and many many more. If you will look hard enough you'll be able to get the price you want for the stuff you look for.

I imagine that they were asking more since I am obviously a foreigner. I would only go here during daylight hours. There are some places to eat on the top floor

This shopping mall is absolutely huge. There's endless amounts of things you can buy from shoes and close to video game consoles and camera equipment. They also have a lot of tourist goods like shirts and hats that say Peru. If you are a foreigner visiting, it may be overwhelming to you and it is best to be accompanied by a local. I have visited Peru six times and my wife is Peruvian and it was still overwhelming to me.

People use to go here for some technology like wearables or cell phones of all prices, also for clothes and clothing accessories BUT be careful because you can get good deals and also lots of fakes products. Place is usually secure inside but be careful in the outside. If you feel adventurer go to the rooftop and look fot some local food, but again it could be not for your taste. Cleanliness is not the best.
