City - Saint Louis
Stretched along the Mississippi River, Saint Louis is the second most populous city in Missouri. Regarded as the Gateway to the West, Saint Louis was the starting point of Lewis and Clark’s infamous expedition. Saint Louis’ most iconic landmark, the Gateway Arch, is a memorial celebrating the nation’s westward expansion.
In addition to its rich history, Saint Louis offers residents access to exceptional amenities and culture. An apartment in Saint Louis affords you the opportunity to climb sculptures composed of reclaimed building materials at the one-of-a-kind City Museum, or watch the Cardinals play ball at Busch Stadium.
Hit the town and catch a performance at the Fabulous Fox, or indulge in some retail therapy at the massive Saint Louis Outlet Mall. There’s incredible architecture to admire in the Washington Avenue Historic District, or you could experience the flora and fauna on display at the Saint Louis Zoo and Missouri Botanical Garden.

Property Ratings at Bennington Heights
Unbelievably helpful staff
The staff here is great, Lexie is quick with responses and solves issues and answers questions efficiently and without making us feel dumb for it. We had an issue with our dishwasher and they just gave us a whole new one. The property is well maintained, grass is always kept up with and sidewalks are clean. Litter is minimal, with only a random paper or two every once in a while. Neighbors are great and respectful. The only real issue we have is that some people leave pet waste around the area, most likely due to a lack of trash cans and baggie stations. Don’t walk in the grass at night!

RUN.
Apartment flooded, and they did very little to help. Apparently they haven't renovated the units below ground level in years, and water came right through the door. Ruined a brand-new $2000 couch. They do not care. They just want your money.

RUN FOREST RUN
This place is HORRENDOUS and that's being nice. The property manager is SO TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL as well as her EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF. Everyone REAPS WHAT THEY SOW. Raw sewage in toilet and bathtub for a month now. Kitchen floor tile has holes in it. Both closets are still unrepaired. Bathtub has raw sewage back up. I can't move my belongings and clean the place because of the hazardous conditions. I strongly believe this is what flared my asthma. I was in the hospital 4 days on a ventilator. I can't get anyone's help to move me. The property manager as well as her manager knows of the issues, yet has done NOTHING about it. I couldn't say DON'T COME HERE enough. It doesn't matter if I did or not. Ppl will do and go anywhere out of desperation. You have ppl that's been here since 2004. They tell me where else is there to go. In addition, I don't think psy much attention to these reviews. If they did the County would have shut this place down. IT HORRIBLE

Hi there, we can assure you that we do not find this type of behavior acceptable, and we would like to address the situation you have described.
Criminal Activity and Dangerous Property because of poor management
Management is very lax and neglectful of trash, maintenance and parking which has led to a series of documented criminal acts. I have contacted management several times about the rules here not being enforced and have been harassed for it. Eventually there were a series of criminal acts which I believe were crimes of opportunity because the grounds and buildings look very low class and not monitored. Some of the staff are very unprofessional and treat the residents as if basic service is harassment. For example, I have a plumbing problem from August that has not been addressed, despite 3 maintenance requests.

Poor Management and terrible service
Be advised that this property is very poorly managed. I had a scheduled meeting with the Property Manager and when I arrived there was a hand written sign on the door that read, "Temporally Closed" but there were at least 6 associates standing around. Since I was told by the Property Manger to be there at that time, I kept knocking and eventually one of the associates came to the with a bad attitude. I tried to explain to her that I had a scheduled meeting with the Property Manager but the associate refused to let me in out the cold and escalated the situation even threatening to call the police. The Property Manager no-shows a meeting and the bad attitude associate refuses to help, while 5 other associates and an assistant Property Manager are standing around with a hand written sign on the door that the office is closed. This is just one example of how terribly this property is managed.

Poor Management and poor service
I submitted a maintenance request because I had a wet smell in my apartment. It took two months before I heard from anyone. When maintenance did show up 2 months later, they took no action to investigate the smell. After that I found the leak and submitted pics to management showing the rotted out sink from the leak. Now I am getting the run around from management while the leak is still active and the sink is rotting out from the water.

ive had good experience
I've been living in the community for a year now, and i love the it. Its been pretty peaceful and quiet. The apartments are cozy , the only things lacking is additional storage and kitchen storage

Fees
I rented there for three years and when I left they slapped me with fees that were the equivalent to a months rent. Trying to dispute these damage claims they’re making is proving to be a waste of my time. No one cares what I’m saying. My buddy rented there and left her apartment wrecked but because she moved into a new unit instead of leaving she didn’t get a single charge. This is slimy behavior.

Zero stars isn’t an option: Leasing office is a joke!!!!
We were told we would be fined if we didn’t tell them we were resigning by a certain date. But the date had already passed for when we were notified. We had to ask to resign the lease 6 times. They told us they would send it and never did. They rarely answered their phones. We finally were sent the lease to sign several days after ours expired. 3 months after we resigned we are told they never received are lease and that we will be fined for it. They told us they contacted us several times and that we are not following our lease because we didn’t send them our renters insurance even though they never contacted us!!! This place is an absolute joke!! I do not recommend to anyone to ever move in here. They have o clue what they’re doing. Not taking someone’s living condition seriously is not okay.

Do not rent ! Bad maintenance
Maintenance never fixes things completely. They do quick fixes and things fall apart again. Also roaches in this apartment.
Waste of time and money
My experience with these apartments was the worst. I went there to see an apartment on, and a girl showed me the “apartment model,” not the one that I was trying to apply, just a model. I asked if the apartment I was applying to was the same with the same updated appliances, and she said yes and even gave me an available date. I applied online the same day, and later she told me the dates had changed and that I had to wait 4 more days. Then she changed the date again to the original date. One week later, I went to see the apartment, and it was not like she told me; it had old appliances. She denied that she had told me it had updated appliances and asked me to change the dates again to another apartment. I agreed, and later she told me it was not available anymore and tried to get me into a bigger and more expensive apartment. I decided not to move there after all those problems, worst management ever. I lose time and money, so I definitely don’t recommend these apartments.
Very horrible customer service.
Very poor service. A lot of craziness going on with my apartment from holes in my ceilings to no call backs about toilet flooding. We’ve never received a simple “sorry for the inconvenience” or anything only a “well, keep calling maintenance.” however when they need to get a hold of us, they find a way to email, put papers on our door, etc. Very very poor communication and customer interaction. I’ve left 5 messages over the last couple of weeks, with no response. And when they do choose to answer, they send me to a number of someone who NEVER answers, without mentioning she’s not even in the office. How are we supposed to live comfortably when it seems that no one that works here is willing to make that happen for their paying residents? We were promised comfortable living and a great home in a good community. I’ve been here only a short time, and I haven’t felt comfortable since my first day in my apartment.
Worst. Management. Ever.
Everyone seems nice when they're trying to trick you into a lease, but once you actually move-in, they just want to suck you dry of every dime you have. Ridiculous fees, increased rent, and careless maintenance staff. No refunds were offered when amenities that we paid for were unavailable due to COVID. Instead, they had the audacity to raise the rent. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR RESIDENTS, THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. DO NOT LIVE HERE, IT'S TOO STRESSFUL.
Do NOT Rent Here!
I had multiple problems in my apartment and no one would ever come to fix any. No matter how many times I called or even went to the leasing office in person. There was mold and the dishwasher didn't work the entire 18 months I lived here. Staff was rude and seemed annoyed dealing with anything. DO NOT LIVE HERE!
Do Not Rent
This place is crawling with roaches and rodents do not rent. They have little to no care for their tents and the maintenance is horrible I half do everything. They take advantage of age (YOUNGER PEOPLE) do not rent especially if it's your first apartments. They have yet to come out here and fix anything and maintenance aren't doing anything about the bugs but they want us to pay rent on time and in full but can't come handle what we need to handled or come in and do a half job.
Do not rent!!!!
I lived here for 2 years and I cannot wait to move out! The place it too old! Kitchen, bath ridiculous. There is only one laundry room for the entire community and it’s always crowded. They love to increase your rent by 50-100 which is not worth. Management sucks!
Not Worth It
This place it not worth your money. The neighbors are awful, the gym always has kids hanging out in it with one machine or another always out of order, only half the washers and dryers work properly, the parking is awful, it seems they have stopped maintaining the cleanings of both the outside property and in the gym/laundry room, the dumpsters are always overfilled causing trash to litter the parking lots, the heating and conditioning never maintains a constant temperature. I can literally go on. Just look elsewhere. You will thank me.
DO NOT RENT!!
This place is the SLUM of maryland heights!!! i am a 23 yr old female and I had to move out early from how unsafe I felt in my own home from the other people in my unit. The manager doesn’t care. I could go on and on but only have 50 characters. Save yourself, DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE!!
Employees to busy watching the clock, turning away potential Residents
I was there last week. I looked at the website for their hours. They closed at 6 and I got there around a 5:15pm. I stood in the lobby for about ten minutes before realizing I needed to walk in closer to the offices. I looked to my right to see 2-3 employees having the time of their life talking in the back. I was finally noticed by a woman who approached me. I said that I wanted to look at their 2 bedroom style apartments. She walked past me and over to a nearby computer and then back up to me and said, "It is 5:27 and we stop doing tours at 5:30. Would you come back tomorrow instead?" I was like, I have to work tomorrow but maybe Friday (which I did not). She said, "Ok." I left. So, there were several employees and nobody cared enough about customer service to actually take the time to properly greet me. And then, after standing there for about 5 minutes, to say that it is 5:27 but they stop tours 3 minutes from that time. And, she did not ask my name or to schedule an appointment. I was not offered any floor plans or given any verbal pricing information. I left. What horrible customer service! I tried contacting the Mill's Property but it is impossible to get through to anyone without leaving my name and number. I tried for several days to reach someone but nothing.
Bottom Tier Quality, Mediocre Price
You get what you pay for. Bennington Heights is on the cheaper side, and the apartments reflect that. Things were falling apart when I moved in – “linoleum” was peeling, paint was peeling, balcony door was so poorly insulated mold would start growing every time it rained, etc. Maintenance was hit or miss; sometimes they were prompt and helpful, and other times my requests were totally ignored. A few times, they even left a condescending note. In general, things were not kept up well. For example, when a machine in the workout room broke, an Out of Order sign was put on it and the machine would never be fixed or replaced. For the better part of my final year at Bennington Heights, one of the treadmills was out of order. It just sat there, neglected and taking up space. On one occasion, Bennington Heights scheduled a carpet cleaning and had a carpet cleaning company enter my apartment WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR NOTICE AHEAD OF TIME. That is against the law. Because I was not notified, I was not in the apartment when the cleaner arrived. The vacuum hose went out the door of the apartment, which meant the door was cracked and my cat could very easily have ran out to escape the extremely loud noise. Fortunately, I did find him, though he was cowering behind the couch, absolutely terrified. When it came time for me to move out (thank God), they didn’t reach out to me about my deposit. After 30 days, I contacted them asking when I could expect it. That’s when I found out that I apparently owed THEM. They kept the entire refundable part of my deposit and charged me $25 on top of it for overexaggerated “damages” to their already falling apart apartment. Did I ever receive details about these damages or images of them? None whatsoever.
Survival Guide: the good, the bad...
I've lived here for about 2 years, & I will move as soon as my lease is up. Pros: *Cheap rent for the area. Con: current residents' rent increases by $50-100, at renewal. *Close to public library, major highways, Parkway Schools, YMCA, and Westport Plaza Maryland Heights Community Center. *3 pools, 24 hr safe laundromat, & exercise room. Cons: *Not pet friendly. No sidewalks & the promised dog park was never created. Pet rent is over $20 per pet, per month, on top of pet deposits and any potential damage charges. *Lots of maintenance issues including: flooding, leaky roof, water damage, bubbling ceiling, and broken appliances. *I love to cook so I was highly disappointed that appliances are from the 1970's. The "unrenovated" apartment to save over $40 per month. The "renovated apartments feature appliances from 1990s in black. My dishwasher kept flooding, my oven burnt my food at 100 degrees. Eventually replaced. *Maintenance requests: While I have had some good experiences, we'very had constant issues with them correctly fixing an issue on the 1st time. I am highly dissatisfied. My airconditioner broke during a heat wave, it took over a week to fix it. We've had flooding and leaking. Issues not fixed right the 1st time, so we repeatedly had to call management until fixed. *Noise easily travels and the apartment walls are very thin. As with any apartment living situation, be prepared to hear loud noises, your neighbors' nighttime sleeping (or non-sleeping bedtime activities), and parties regularly. * Litter, chicken bones, and broken beer bottles seen regularly on grounds and parking lot. Some improvement in clean up during the summer. Still, look at the ground for glass before you park your car. *Safety: In BH Apt living, you may experience issues w/ tenants who have emotional & mental health issues, or see the police regularly. Leasing reluctant to assist. 2 years ago, someone was a murdered. On a Sunday, I saw police respond to 3 different calls in our apartment section. Though, the Maryland Heights Police are excellent! *Big con: customer service. To be fair, the leasing office staff very nice and plan some fun resident activities. Follow up needs improvement. I had to call, email, and visit the office multiple times to fix an error on my lease & signed paperwork was "lost." Just frustrating- be ready to follow up. Document everything, and always get a copy. Good luck with your decision.
Only 1 star b/c zero wasn't an option!
Where to start. The place is older than dirt, the so called property management is a joke, the "3" pools are the size of bathtubs..The gym wasn't clean and they never did the proper maintenance on the gym equipment. I was afraid to leave my laundry in the laundry room b/c it might end up stolen. Broke my lease early and they go straight to the collection agency with no letter/phone call or even asking me to pay the early termination fee. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy let alone a student looking for a cheep place to stay. There are many better options in the St. Louis area, so stay as far away from this place as possible before they try to ruin your credit as they are mine right now.
Do not move here!!!!
Do not move here!!!! The rent is too high to not be able to have company over and enjoy your living space. Walls are thin and can hear everything your neighbor does. They are rude and unwilling to handle issues professionally. Being harassed by neighbor, but no one will really investigate the situation. Just take his side and threaten to evict.
Seriously!
I have been living here for about 2 1/2 years and have told them about our patio doors from the 1st month. The patio doors are loose so when the wind blows they shake and rattle and the curtains blow like the door is open. Well, today my neighbor of only a month got a completely new patio door set. They came and replaced the whole things with brand new everything. So I called and asked why they are still not wanting to hear about my old patio doors that now leak and they are replacing ones that pass a Buyer can see? Was told, "the leaking and them being not insulated is not their problem, either turn ac\heat on lower/higher or get a blanket to put over the doors!!" how is it not their problem? I have choose to live in an apartment so these things can be addressed. I had to fix the thermostat myself because my after 2 summers of complaining about it not working correctly and them not doing anything about it, I got tired of my $300 a month bill during summer. This management is a complete joke.
Do not live here
Horrible place infested with roaches. It floods by the apartments near the highway(western cape)they do not notify you of any price changes, appliances are outdated. It does cost more to get updated ones.(4/10)look elsewhere.
Pests. Dirty. NOT nice leasing staff.
Lived in the row townhouse style, 2 br off Wissant ln. Moving out was the best decision we have made. When renovating these apartments they left out a lot of finishing touches, such as filling the cracks where the floor and walls meet in the HVAC closet. This led to a warm damp breeding ground for pests. I complained almost weekly, mostly by leaving messages on the recording service. I never would be called back, all they would do would was add us to the fumigation schedule for wednesdays. Never once did they try to solve the issue by repairing the walls. Back patio filled with mud after every rain. We spent our own money and built a small retaining wall which still didn't help. They would 'fix' the issue by shoveling off the mud. I wish I could express my anger with the way the company handled issues and how stuck I felt, helpless and waiting for my lease to end. The only nice people we encountered were the actual repair men/maintenance men. They were always courteous and not at fault for terrible management. There's plenty of other apartments in the area please, please do not choose this one.
Not worth the money
I have lived here a few years and each year has gotten worse. Maintenance is a joke when it comes to fixing things . Staff is more worried about moving people in than taking care of residents in house already. As far as apartment goes . paint seems to fix everything. Walls have no baseboards and start to crumble like crackers at the bottom within a few months. Rent keeps going up but apartment does not get updated along with it. The front office looks amazing inside though. Staff does not take responsibility but would rather play the blame game. The list goes on and on. Overall very unsatisfied.
not getting anything done
maintenance is a joke when it comes to fixing things. Front desk seems like they are handling your concerns and issues on them.but do not do anything in the end. They all like to play the blame game on you. and not take responsibility for anything. Rate for apartments is too much especially when the walls do not even have baseboards at the bottom. They look like stepped on crackers. But no worries because the office looks outstanding. They will charge you for anything to get money. Mainly not worth your time or money in the end.
Current Resident Not getting any problems solved
I would stay as far away from this management group as possible. I have been having plumbing issues for months now and they keep taking the cheapest way out to try and fix the issue. 4 times now my kitchen, bathroom, hallway and upper bathroom have had the drains clogged and backed up. Instead of doing anything about the pipes they just send a plumber to flush the system and it backs up again in two weeks. My current situation is that the plumber was here yesterday, must of flushed the system again (i have no idea because they never contact me) and it managed to push all the sewage to my upper bathroom and was left for me to clean. I have decided to quit paying my rent and take them to court if needed. I have cleaned my townhouse 5 times now with my money, the baseboards, laundry room and kitchen are starting to smell of mold as the drywall soaks up the flood everytime. Don't waste your money here.
Country Sensation
I'm from the country, had to move closer to work. Looking for apartments reasonable in price was difficult. I came upon Bennington Heights apartment complex. This place is huge and pretty with lots of trees. The apartment complex has a country look to it. I feel like I'm still in the country. The common areas are very well maintained. This apartment complex has 3 swimming pools with tables and lounge chairs, a club house with an exercise room a computer room as well as a tanning room. The monthly rent is very reasonable the cheapest around. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance crew are quick with repairs, knowledgeable and friendly. The apartments floor plans are designed to give you privacy and more space without wasted space. I love it here. I have been here for 2 and a half years. Justine G, Maryland Heights, MO
Bennington Heights Apartments
This is a nice starter Apartment. I would like to own something in the next couple years. The two bedroom can fit three people that don't have a ton of stuff because there is not a lot of closet space. The rent is a decent price especially for the area. The laundry room is on site and that's a plus but nothing beats your own washer and dryer. They do have town homes available if you need more space and your own washer and dryer. I would just prefer to pay more when I am buying and not renting. The maintenance is standard. They have over 900 apartments, so minor issues may take a month. Major issues have been delt with in a timely manner, but it's not always next day. I say within 3 days is the longest.

Bennington Heights
I love my two bedroom 2-level townhome, located in Maryland, Heights, Missouri, is everything is updated, granite counter tops in kitchen and bath area, 1 1/2 bath, hardwood floors. It's at affordable rate, school district is amazing. The staff is nice and easy to deal with. So if you are apartment looking in the area this would be a great choice.
A good place to start

This apartment is flourishing with wonderful amenities such as a gym, laundry center, three swimming pools, a business center and a beautiful club house. Come take a look at Bennington Heights apartment and you will not leave dissatisfied but happy because you have found a place you can call home.
Great Townhome at a Great Price!
I love the updated kitchen in my home. It feels like it should cost way more than we pay for it. The value is through the roof. And the pool is a really fun place to hang out!
Updated and Affordable!
These townhomes are totally updated with black appliances, granite countertops, all new flooring and light fixtures, and they are a great price! Located near many roadways and Westport Plaza, you are never too far from fun! We also have a great pool where I have made some wonderful friends! This place is great :)
Great location for the price
Bennington Heights is located only seconds from highway 270 and page and only a few minutes from westport. Bennington Heights is cheaper than their competitors in the area and still just as nice. The only down fall is their maintence department. Some of the guys will get to you problem in the same day while you have others that forget about it and you have to call about the problem more than once. Over all, my husband and I have lived here for 4 years and believe Bennington Heights is a great place to live and I would recommend it to others.
